"I haven't puked since 1987"

You mean you haven't watched Fox News and seen Trump or Rove? That's enough to make anyone puke! Hhahahaha!

Hey steel, guess that indicator of the redskins home game was worth shit as well!

3 minutes to Romney conceding and strapping the dog to the roof of his car for the long ride home! hahahahaha!

Gee, I'm so happy to be able to wash this stink off me, of having to debate endless republican nonsense...but not to worry...you guys still have Fox News...I like the way Rove said "hey let's not concede defeat yet"...meanig FOX is definitively in the tank for the republicants!

well they lost in the 2004 election at home too and kerry was suppose to win the election based on that. I take stuff like that for what it's worth, i just thought it was a funny tid bit how soo many people focus on stupid things like that to predict outcomes of something. And once again the polls were off. According to the polls romney was suppose to win fl, didn't happen and it was suppose to be a tight race in pa, wi and mich and that didn't happen either. i mean this reminds me of the night before election day in 2004 when all the polls said kerry was only down by 1% and it ended up to be a much larger margin then that on election day. i guess the media gawks at polls for ratings, that's the only use i see with pre election polls.

^^^Rove looked the fool tonight.

The station cow-towing to him, suggested just how in the tank the network was for the Republican party. Rove is a guest...yet they aren't allowed to believe their own Fox data team (and likely lawyers) calling the race???

Rove looked foolish, petty and grasping and it was clear the anchors felt foolish with this thing playing out in live prime time with millions watching....

--- Rove going Rogue....and speaking of 'going rogue'...I'm sure we know who will be coming along next....wink wink...

I may puke ...that is saying a lot since I haven't puked since 1987

Then go see your doctor, under Obama care, you'll now have better access to care!.

The reality of Obama having another four years to destroy our constitution is too much. Let's push for an impeachment!!!

Wake up; the constitution has been getting twisted around for quite sometime before OBama came into office; ever hear of affirmative action or the Patriot act? We didn't impeach Gwb for starting a war under false pretext, and you wanna impeach Obama? Get real!

At Steelcity

oh well if everything gets worse then it is 4 years from now everyone that voted for obama will be responseable for it.

Generally speaking, Americans don't like change (unless absolutely necessary); and MR wasn't good enough to up-end a vulnerable POTUS like Obama, now the GOP must seriously re-tool themselves. MR shot himself in the foot with his famous 47% speech; that left a bad taste in the mouths of many. The GOP needs to purge themselves of clowns like: Palin, Gingrich, Santorum and get pple more in the center. Must be sad ass day at Fox news! :>

China must be pretty happy right now though seeing as the more debt they collect from us the more they will own americas economy.

Man, quit drinking MR's cool aid. China needs us more then we need them. The last thing they want is for our economy to get worse.

Congrats to Mr. Obama. He has won the contest fair and square. A new America has started. Hide your assets. Hide your guns. Become financially invisible. This is an all out war against the profitable.

yeah i think you need to quit drinking that kool- aid lol china doesn't need the u.s when they contend with many other countries throughout the world for their import and export buyers. China will not suddenly just fall without the U.S. lol China will still manage fine without the U.S. if it had to. China as become a huge global economic powerhouse.

A cabillion ads and a cabillion talk shows and it all comes down to about a 50/50 split. Obama won fair and square as far as the system goes but other than that a 50/50 split doesn't mean much of anything. Half weare content and half wanted a change.

The real news today that will impact the little guy is the big drop in the Dow. Tens of billion in investmnet just went 'poof'. Potentially further disaster for the US debt. Spooky. Hopefully Obama can get together with Congress and insert some confidence in the economy.

Hippies Wander Into the Lions' Den, Maul Lions

Let us review:

The United States of America -- a country where only eight years ago, opposition to the right of gay and lesbian couples to form and protect their families, under the color of law, was a winning national election strategy -- for the first time by popular vote defeated an effort to discriminate against such families in one state, and endorsed the right to marry in three others.

This same United States sent a woman who is gay to its upper chamber.

The United States of America, where legal marital rape is in living memory, turned away two men who would minimize that rape and likely turned control of the entire Senate over that issue.

The United States of America, where under the color of law and under the force of terrorism whole swaths of black people were deprived of the right to vote in recent memory, saw black voting not only match levels achieved in 2008 but exceed them.

The United States of America, a country of immigrants, saw the Latino share of the vote increase, not decrease as so many predicted.

The United States of America, whose prison system is a mockery of justice, endorsed a mature and sane drug policy in three states.

The United States of America, where the disenfranchisement of women is in recent memory, sent a historic number of women to its upper chambers.

The United States of America, whose media has long been held hostage by the vendors of hair-tonic and lead alchemy, saw those self-same vendors shamed, embarrassed, and reduced to self-mockery before the world.

The United States of America, a country with the vending of black people barely out of living memory, with the systemic white supremacy very much in its living memory, re-elected a black president.

That president is the killer of Osama bin Laden. That president, a black man, a card-carrying member of this country's pariah class, is now seen by Americans as its most effective guardian. That president is the pivotal figure in what must be one of the most progressive nights in American history, and arguably the most progressive night in American history in some 40 years.

I am not sure what more to make of this. I would not say that the battle is over, but that some monster of American history, some wraith, some awful Power went into battle last night, and is presently limping away mortally wounded.

The beast-handlers know this. I think it's broadcast in Bill O'Reilly's open racism, in Karl Rove's flight into lunacy. It is slowly dawning on them: This isn't 1968. The hippies are punching back.

No, accordiong to analysis on CNN and CNBC it was due to Obama's vic tory. Drops were biggest on dividend bearing shares. (income for millions of retirees). These may be subject to higher taxes.

The biggest drop in 2012. Hopefully things will be better tomorrow and there won't be a further sell off on Friday.

I happened to have CNN on all day...the dow was up in pre-open trading on the election and then the EU Central Bank made a statement that the debt crisis is starting to hurt Germany..from that point onward the Dow headed downward...later in the day the potential for the fiscal cliff kept the Dow heading downward.

Meanwhile, Europe's debt crisis reared its ugly head once again, with Draghi warning that the region's debt problems are starting to take their toll on the economy in Germany, which has so far been relatively insulated.

Separately, the European Commission forecast a 0.3% decline in economic activity in the European Union this year, and subdued growth in 2013. The eurozone economy is expected to contract 0.4% this year, and be stagnate in 2013.

Following a morning rally, European stocks sold off sharply. Britain's FTSE 100 dropped 1.6% while the DAX in Germany and France's CAC 40 declined 2%.

All Obama care did was take away choice and add about a trillion dollars in taxes, It has already DOUBLED my health insurance cost. and I am NOT rich at all! that dirty bas%ard has doneNOTHING but bad for this country. 6 trillion more deficit, disrespecting our allies, arab spring for al qaida... only an idiot would say that's the right direction.

I hear you, as it is clear Obama is far too much of a conservative for you, as his Obamacare clearly shows how it will work much like the cash for clunkers and drive dollars into the healthcare industry, thus just one giant shot in the arm for big business as the cost of the general public.

It is clear you are upset about the fact that the health care providers can charge you want they want, and make billions doing it and just keep making obscene amounts of money off the backs of the sick.

So you really should think about joining up with a socialist or communist party, one that will put controls and limits on corporate profits and one that will make them set lower more reasonable prices.

If you think your health care is higher due to "Obamacare, " you are ignorant of the facts. It hasn't started yet.

The Insurance companies are abusing us as usual, by jacking up prices in advance of possible curbs, just as tenement owners will double the rent they charge, when they hear that rent hike caps are to be passed into law.

And it has added NOTHING to the deficit yet for the same reason.

It does suck as a concept (guarantee huge profits to the insurance companies, in hopes that they will volutarily lower rates? Duh), but both parties are to blame for that. The GOP wouldn't allow for anything else (not to mention, that so-called "Obamacare" is what Republicans used to tout as their solution to health care, before they decided that doing absolutely nothing was even more efficacious).

At least if you are going to pitch a fuss, do it accurately.

Man, do you know what you are talking about? Obamacare has yet to be fully implemeted; before it can, insurance exchanges must need to be set up! Find out the real reason why your insurance went up; ask your employer (if he says its Obama then he/she is lying to you flat out), or your insurance company (if you buy your own plan).

Obama will now go down in history as one of the greatest presidents ever, in 50 years time there will be countless squares, streets and schools named after him
why
because his election, turned the page of american and world history, it dealt a fatal blow to the old order, based on fear, hate, war, racesim, ignorance, and religious fanatisism
i doubt that everything will be accomplished by the end of his term, but the page has turned, the good people have tasted power, democracy renewed!

If he wants to create a lasting legacy for himself, then he has to hit a couple of political Home-runs in these next 4 years; and that means he has got to work effectively with the GOP in the house especially.

If he isn't successful in breaking the gridlock, and the economy just stays in neutral with a growing debt; then he will be seen as an empty suit with the only claim to fame that he was the 1st Black POTUS.

The Bush's don't miss a beat. Looks like the next George Bush is seeking political office in Texas. George P. Bush runs a consulting firm and has been active in Republican Party outreach to college students. He's also the co-founder of Hispanic Republicans of Texas, a group that seeks to elect Hispanic candidates.

http://home.suddenlink.net/news/read.php?id=19135439&ps=1011&cat=&cps=0&show=big&lang=en

Looking to win back the Hispanic vote and perhaps the youths vote?

I'm curious, if all the Republicans, the so called party of business, if they are wondering about their return on investment, ie Mitt. Not very good business men. They chose to spend their money on marketing instead of a product.

You know twilight...I often harken back to 2000. Makes you wonder if Jeb, would have made the same mistakes W made? Has to be tough on senior...to see the smart son, underminded by the idiot son.

As for "P"...who knows? Personally I doubt the Bush name will resonate with the population like the Kennedy's did...I tend to doubt, anyone will want a return to the name of Bush...for the next 20 years...
