maybe kissing fullfills you more than intimate contact...which is not strange......that is why I have learned to enjoy what the lady presents that arouses me

There is no difference between sexual proxmity and kissing. it's all the same, it's just done in different way. Now, You may think that sexual proximity is just sexual intercourse and then kissing is OK. They all connect to your prain and drive your emotions to the core of your heart. If you make kissing steps, then there is no forgiveness or excuse for the other. They are all wrong as long as they are done outside of marriage. Feel hurt when you kiss someone who's not your destined partner to be, right? I guess so.

By all means kissing is more intimate than sex, I agree all heartedly. It's not weird at all, it actually makes total sense. No need to explain any further, those who get it will agree, those who don't never will.

I know sex workers who do not kiss at work as this is too intimate a 'thing' for them to include on the menu.
I know that I enjoy kissing a lot and it is the passions which sometimes flow from this, can lead to sex. It makes me wet and if he's a gr8 kisser, it makes him more desirable. It's part of foreplay.
If sex were less intimate, we'd all be walking around showing our 'bits'.
People don't generally touch your face, ears or neck. During kissing, these areas become erogenous zones.

You are making perfect sense to me. As you say "sex in of itself" can be just sex or it can be very intimate. For me, if its a woman that I care for or love, kissing is a big part of foreplay and reaches its height during sex. Then of course the afterplay while your bodies are entangled, the conversation and soft kisses....so intimate and really builds a bond. Now if its just sex, when we are done, its time for you to go lol

While Kissing , in itself , is very erotic....Tongue-Wrestling can also be an integral part of the whole Lovemaking Process!!
(Oral excluded, of course . . .
but then again . . .
I Do really like kissing toes and calves and thighs.... while fully involved with the whole Oral Process , too!!!)

I so totally agree as both man and marriage counsellor in training. My friends both mien and women who have casual sex say they hold back on the kissing. To me kissing is the most tender and vulnerable meeting of lips; lips that can build or maim the other. Being without kissing eight years post divorce, I realize for the first time , that is, discovering for the first time what it cojld have been about and how crucial and beautiful and enriching it is to a man woman relationship.

But in actuality,...kissing is a learned skill,..a practiced one. TO expect someone to be a good kisser requires that BOTH of the couple embrace humility and learn to be learners as related to kissing. And what better way to enrich the relationship- building process than to humbly and mutually surrender to the shared discovery and pleasure of kissing

I imagine kissing a woman like I'd kiss kitty...or vice versa. That's always a good approach.

I agree. I've had FWBs who I rarely, if ever kissed. If I really like a guy, I can't stop kissing him.

There is something about kissing that touches you to the core. I enjoy the true intimacy of kissing. I also agree with being able to kiss without sex and be happy but I could never enjoy sex without kissing.

ahhh yes the intimacy of kissing......gotta love it...especially when you find yourself licking and sucking out the 2 week old spaghetti from her molars and then you get deep into her wisdom teeth and snag yourself the 4 month old corn that has somewhat has a "funky sensation as ya roll it out of her mouth into yours and let it slide down your tongue into your esophogus and you swallow.......then burp.........and then you go back in for more more more.......

Sandy,
Totally agree with you, nothing like a passionate kiss to see if any feelings are there.

"I always laugh when someone says this. I picture you and your whatever, perhaps in a grocery store, and one of you slips on a bit of produce. The other is standing too close, and suddenly OOPS!!! you realize "we just had sex! How unfortunate!"

This had me laughing, and reminded me of when Tiny Tim (the 'Tiptoe through the Tulips' guy) was on The Tonight Show ages ago. His wife 'Miss Vickie' was pregnant at the time. Tim & Vickie supposedly slept in separate bedrooms, and when Johnny Carson asked how she got pregnant, Tim replied "We bumped into each other in the hallway." :o)

(Love the gate/temple analogy, BTW!)

Totally agree with you, sex without kissing and touching is like mowing the lawn, you get the job done but it is no fun at all.

MMMMM Kissing!

Very intimate and good kissing is a must in a woman I'd be interested in. Kissing, cuddling, and the little things are as important sex itself. In reality no one is in bed 24/7. Kissing, holding hands, smiles, touching all the intimate things you do out of bed are as important as what you do in one.

Do yall find that kissing is a good indicator of how well you will mesh together sexually?
I mean I once dated a man I really liked but we didnt kiss well. He seemed all teeth to me and kinda short with them but We dated often for quite a while. Sex was a disaster. I think that first kiss was really all I needed to know that it was gonna be bad.. well... not bad but kinda eh. I should have stopped at the kiss. forever.
Then I dated another man I really liked and we kissed very well. Sex was wonderful and we were together three years. (ended a long story).

So, for me its always been kinda a telltale of some sorts of how we will be sexually.
Do others feel this way??
