Sexual...vocalizationsPage 2 of 3    (1, 2, 3)

So, are women who are really loud and verbal exaggerating for effect? Or are there women out there who just naturally cry out very audibly and maybe aren't even aware of the decibel level?

Yes, and oh yes, for the same reason some men are and cuz just feels so good.

So my question, finally, is this. How come some women are SO LOUD during sex.

Some just are. Why are some women blonde, or redheads, tall, short, fat, thin? They just are.

So, are women who are really loud and verbal exaggerating for effect? Or are there women out there who just naturally cry out very audibly and maybe aren't even aware of the decibel level?

So my volume control varies. Depends on who is around to hear me, or where I am.

I have known two women that were over the top vocal/loud. One was shreiking loud enough that everyone on our floor in residence was able to clearly hear what she was saying. The other was in my apartment and loud enough that I couldn't concentrate on what I was doing in my room, and we got the giggles to the point we HAD to stop.

The older I get, the louder I have become. I still have the ability to control my volume levels tho.

I like vocal interaction during sex as it keeps both parties in the moment. I feel that silent men are just working to get the job done and not enjoying themselves.

I used to have that issue when I lived in an apt building. I was on the 6th floor and they were neighbours. Both partners were loud.

I left a message for them stuck to their mailbox simply mentioning I can hear them when they have sex, and please not be so loud as their neighbours can hear EVERYTHING. I included a few things that were said, err, screamed the night before, so they had proof that I DID hear.

I never had disrupted sleep again!

Some women scream like banshees, whilst others are quiet. Same with guys.

Some women scream, some scratch. I'd rather be with a screamer myself. I can be loud at point of climax but I usually have enough control to tone it down. My girlfriend has been known to keep small towns awake at night.

You should just pretend that you're over-hearing some kind of Opera on the radio. One where the Opera is taking place on a stage that is traveling down a road with periodic speed-bumps or pot-holes. What do they say? - It's not over till the lady SINGS! And the wine glass shatters. mmmm....

Women are like music... high volume can significantly enhance the experience :-) crank up the volume, have a good equalizer to sustain and control the highs and lows :-)

In actual penetrative sex the male has entered your body.... and in a certain sense we know we are an invader... tho invited and desired..... to me it is a final verbal affirmation and acceptance of my personhood and of my life force to be given to your body and celebrated as a deep and dear soul felt gift during our most vulnerable and bonding emotional state...

I'd say in the moment, they aren't aware. I'd also say if they know they have to be quiet (kids, etc) they make a conscious effort to be. It kinda goes along with not realizing what you say in the moment, really, until after you said it.

This thread made me laugh. Years ago I had a neighbor above me. It was forever the same thing, "Oh, it hurts. It hurts." My next door neighbor could hear her also and would often call me and we'd sigh, curse, giggle, etc. The upper neighbor finally moved out. I was at work and the next-door neighbor called me. She needed to show me something. When I got home, she had a garbage bag full of stuff. It was from above, left on the staircase. The painful mystery was solved. It wasn't her being obsessed with the verbiage "It hurts, it hurts." She had 20+ Strap on Sally videos. The damn things all had "hurt" in the titles. All that time we were just hearing the audio of B-grade porn.

~OT~ I think men are the same. Some are reaaaaaaaaaaaally vocal, some are like mutes and some are in between. Attention seeking? Maybe. I'm inclined to think at some point in time, a woman told them being that loud was a major turn-on ~ but I could be wrong. All I know is that I really don't care to hear my neighbors antics, nor do I want our neighbors hearing ours. A bit of self-control is a wonderful thing (at least I think so.) JMO

My next door neighbour recently aquired a new girlfriend, the first time i heard them in the early hours of the morning, after getting home from a 5 hour flight and hours drive home, i thought there was a fox in the garden till i realized where the noise was coming from
My daughter then told me it had been going on for the whole of the previous week all hours of the day and night and keep her awake and she had taken to banging a shoe against the wall to shut them up.
Since then it has become worse, she howls like she is in pain, morning noon and night, we had company last Sunday afternoon we were all sitting there in the living room and then we could hear her howling, we all started laughing but really! no one needs to make those kind of noises.
The worst thing is, also sharing the house with him is a family with two young boys, i cant even imagine what they think is going on when she sounds like she's being murdered!

I also had a neighbour once who was very vocal and I use to run into her frequently the next morning in the elevator and we would chat briefly . The appatment was very soundproof so you knew she was screaming when you heard it so I assume she thought nobody could hear her .

I remember one time the session was rather lengthy I hardly got any sleep and as I was making my way to the elevator and I spotted her . I said good morning and as she tried to respond but not much came out ..she had lost her voice and the only words I understood was that she didn't get much sleep. I responded by telling her I had issues sleeping as well and didn't fall asleep until 4 AM myself but that I wished I had enjoyed myself as much as she did before going to sleep . Well she blushed and did try and keep the noise down a bit after that . Every morning after their session she would smile at me knowingly and blush just a little .

I'll take vocalization in any way, shape or form over the quiet ones any day. Its just hot in my opinion.

We have a balcony off of our bedroom. Our neighbors do too. One night, shortly after they moved in, we heard them on their balcony having sex, as our bedroom door was open. We were kinda looking at each other like 'omg, they don't realize we can hear them' and I giggled a little at all of the girly noises we were hearing. Then SHE said something and we realized it was him making those noises ... lol. What's funny is he is the "manly man" type, so it took many months to get that image of him squealing out of my head when I saw him ... lol. I never heard them again, so they must have realized or kept it indoors.

Another neighbor was dating a woman for a month or so who was vocal towards the end of sex. That was just damn hot to walk outside and unexpectedly hear. Thankfully it was only late at night and was relatively brief.

I am vocal during sex, but not loud. I tend to be a moaner. My ex BF would always chant "oh baby... oh baby" which was a huge turn on. I don't like loud and theatrical, but some sort of sound usually pushes my orgasm a little higher.

When I was first married, the guy in the apartment above us was a phone sex operator. His bedroom was above ours, and we would listen to him pace and chat every night from 10-3am. Mostly we would hear muffled talking, but there were occasional "orgasms" mixed in there, too.

I can be extremely loud when I am mentally aroused to a high degree and anticipant. The moment what I anticipate is about to happen and does I just go bonkers. I can control this to some degree.

If I am not generating sexual feelings mentally, but only feeling aroused physically then I am not so loud. If my mind is elsewhere I might be silent.

I am very loud too when alone. Not when masturbating with my fingers or using a vibrator but when ****ing my pillow. The build-up to and the orgasms (multiples) are so intense that I cannot control it. I put my head into another pillow to muffle my screams but I lift my head up for air.

A couple of months after the woman below me moved in I had the police at my door as a neighbour believed my flat to be empty. I had been away that month and even though I had been home for a couple of weeks as I am very quiet in my flat (no TV, music on quietly, no vacuum cleaner), so it was easy for a new neighbour to assume no one lived there. The cops said that they had been told of loud screaming and muffled sounds. I don’t think person had called emergency services as it was not treated as such; it was a visit a couple of days later. I remember feeling a smile form on my face as I was trying to think what the police were talking about and then it occurring to me.

Lol. Now that's being honest.

Once I was in Panama, on an island in an old hotel. After a night together with my then boy friend who was stationed on the mainland, I opened my eyes to see that there was a good foot and a half gap at the top of all the walls to let air circulate. I was hoping the loud party at the bar downstairs that went on all night covered up the sounds, but was still bashful checking out that morning ... lol.

^ ^ ^ Not such a bad description. Quite accurate for some I'd think. Doesn't seem so corny or unmasculine to me.

Hey wait, did that dude say he was having sex in the basement with a gf while his wife was upstairs? That's ok, but the wife wanting to hear it is un-thought-of?

A little verbal is good, but I don't need/want the whole world to know that we're at it.
