Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

What's your tolerance level when dating?Page 2 of 2    (1, 2)
So what you're saying Ginger, is you only date artists?

You jest, but actually you're not so far from the mark. Thoreau had a nice angle on the potential artist within us all...

"It is something to be able to paint a particular picture, or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful; but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look, which morally we can do. To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of arts."

What's your tolerance level when dating?
Posted: 3/6/2013 12:04:57 AM
I have no zero tolerance level... I've been on some dates when I felt like just walking out the door.. One guy was half drunk when we met for the first and only time.. Another did nothing but talk about how he hated his job.. Another said give me a call if you feel like some sex lol... I stayed till the end of the date, and that was the end of that. There were a few others which aren't worth mentioning.. Maybe I have just lost patience... I don't know :)
