Slightly off topic - we all now know Mr Saville was into young girls and boys and possibly even stiffs but not older blokes. Then I came home one night to see him on top of Pops!

Well, Technically, the first single I ever bought, was "Campanology Blues", by Charlie Drake.
It was second-hand, and I bought it from the "Spastic's Hope Chest", as the charity shop was then called. (Not very 'PC'., By today's standards, but I think it was meant to be 'ironic'.) I was about 7 or 8, I think.

The first new singles I bought, were "Itchycoo Park" (Sp?), By the 'Small Faces', and "Hole in my Shoe", by 'Traffic'. Both at the same time... I was a pretty cool 12 year-old, IMO.

To my everlasting shame, the first Album, was "Idea", By the Bee Gees...
I was less cool, by then.
