with no shared interests the flame dies quickly
I think women are far more picky here than RL. I guess all the attention.
I am guilty of passing over people based on a few photos - shallow I know.
I've never mesged a Man.. I have had them get fairly abusive when I have politely declined their offers. Maybe I was the 100 woman who said no * shrug*

I don't know what's going on over there in the UK, maybe an overabundance of tall, attractive, fit, educated men? If you were in my area, you'd be cleaning house with almost no effort at all. Seriously...

Try rotating your main pic to see which gets better results. Time to get some more up, too.
I know we all like what we like, but are you messaging women who may not be your first choices in the looks dept? Attractive to you, but not drop dead gorgeous?

The current photo is the best one of you, if we could only get that girl's head off your shoulder....Your eyes show up the best in that one.

It's best to stick with 4 or 5 solid messages. Get her phone number, call her and set up a specific date. I would avoid texting.

I've had that too. Just leave a message, say you'll try again the next day.

Hmm...I'm the opposite. I would ignore texts, but always answer the call.

I would think if they are ignoring your call, they aren't serious about meeting.

2 choices that I've found work...
1. After you get the phone number, ask what would be a good time to call tomorrow to set up a meeting?

2. Send a text asking if this is a good time to talk.

Some don't answer unknown numbers, if you've got hers but not given yours....

I prefer telephone calls over texts.
I doubt many women are scared re speaking to someone who is a potential date
More than likely you got a fake number ( you know 1 800 forgetit)
Pity you are so far away, you would adore my stylist and she you. She's 23, former dancer.. bright and funny with lovely long red hair. Hey if HE doesnt work out I might date her :/

So many pages...not quite a review anymore. Grasshopper has learned so much.
Feeling like a cozy place and you've never told us your name.
I'm thinking you should send your potential dates here so we can screen them....

Your profile is working and stable. Your questions are probably better on other forum sections such as dating experiences or dating and love advice, but I'll answer here:

It depends on the two people. I've met within 24 hours of sending the first contact message. Took over 10 weeks to meet one gal!

Some people like to phone or some other form of communication between here and the meet; some arrange the meet from the dating site messages.

Which message # has you suggest meeting (or phoning) depends on the people and the substance of the messages. I've given my number in the second message. Have gone over 30 messages before meeting (suggested meeting much sooner, but things got postponed).

I believe it's better to make a move too soon than too late. Average for me is message #3 to #5.

It's not unusual for the conversation to end after you suggest meeting or phoning. Shrug if this happens.

Your collar-less, bow tie pic reminds me of the Chippendale's ( male trippers ) I don't know if that's a good thing.

You look best in the light blue shirt. Could you finish cropping out the other people? Nice body but we're not allowed to see it here (shirtless photos not allowed).

The written part didn't do it for me. I think I liked some of your other versions.

Angry and frustrated?
You might need a longer break to settle yourself down.
What happened to the magnificent profile you had?

Pic are good except for that one that will get you nuked.

94 (95 after this, so I know I'm not helping) posts and the profile still says next to nothing. This is getting a little attention-seeky now.

I like the new name, and the profile looks much better than what you had.
Pics look good, too.

IDK why you aren't getting attention.
Could it be your area?
Are the women intimidated by your intelligence and advanced degrees?
I don't have an answer for you.

Are you holding good conversations in emails and moving on to getting meets?
