Do you practice stupid or does it just come natural?

Israeli civilian gun ownership is 7.3 guns per hundred people ranking it 81st among 178 countries-there are about 500000 guns held by Israeli citizens. America, by comparison has 90 guns per 100 people and ranks #1.

Israel has 1.87 gun related deaths per 100,000 people while America has 10.3 per 100,000.

Gun ownership is not guaranteed by law in Israel and only properly licensed Israelis may buy, own, or transfer guns or ammunition.

You do see that, don't you?

Only someone who's willfully ignorant see's that.

Eric will up hold his right to bear arms no matter if it costs many innocent lives and he will defend a war criminal who brutally targets civilian's and children all in the name of "security". He won't admit he's a christian fundamentalist.

Eric can't you just keep your hands in your pocket and be nice? Talk them out of it? Write a letter like you preach? Oh right, Your right to bear was based on fighting off your government if they got out of hand, and they are getting out of hand. I'm getting it now.

Here we use rifles for hunting. Guns are for killing people. We try to avoid that even if it means going without the extended penis. Sharp shooting people just isn't that much fun for most sane people.

Now maybe people can understand why us gals can't stand so called "nice guys?" They are actually violent if they don't get their way. Things and fantasy's mean more than people and murderers are treated like hero's.

btw Nat won't have the balls to sign an agreement saying he won't be behave like war criminal or commit war crimes. (anymore).

Nat is worried about the rest of the world (besides people like Eric) calling him out and sending him to jail for his war crimes and messing up his plan which is not much different than ISIS's leaders plan. Religious violent extremists both of them.

Funny what people will let others get away with in the name of god, allah or...an alien next?
(I wouldn't put it past the believers to switch to an alien "god" just to feel safe or fit in with a group).

DameWrite...you are doing what trained professionals call "projecting" when describing others.
It is very, very, very typical on internet discussion forums.

Psychological projection is a well-regarded theory in which humans shield themselves against their own unattractive impulses by denying that existence in themselves, while attributing those same impulses to other people. A person, for example, who is racist...may relentlessly accuse other people of racism. A person who cannot trust themselves with firearms will paint others as untrustworthy with firearms...as a means of psychological projection...as is being done here.

Re : Israel - Don't overlook the 650,000 soldiers, male and female, who are armed and openly carry their weapons everywhere they go.

"Only 7.3 out of every 100 Israelis possessed a gun in 2009, compared with 88.8 of every 100 Americans.

The numbers, however, could be deceptive. They do not include firearms used by soldiers, who carry them not only while on base or in mission, but also when traveling and while on vacation within the country.

Furthermore, designated civilian security guards in areas of high risk, mainly West Bank settlements, are provided guns by the military for use as a local security force. The firearms are usually automatic and semi-automatic rifles, including Uzis, M-16s and Israeli-made Galil rifles.

In addition, following the second intifada and the rash of suicide bombings that occurred in 2000, many Israeli establishments, including stores, shopping malls and restaurants, placed armed security guards at their entrances, adding thousands of guns to the mix. According to estimates, there are nearly half a million guns in Israel, a number that includes privately owned weapons, those held by security and military servicemen and illegally owned guns."

Well, your gungrabber insistence that clips and magazines are interchangeable terms for starters...

LOL Eric, these ban nutters have no idea about any specifics here, & they dont want to know. It doesnt matter to them....just go full speed ahead on the D1ckhead Express.

They just zombie-parrot what their leaders tell them to parrot - ban something...ANYTHING!!!! & those leaders dont have a fvcking clue as to what they are actually banning, or what laws they write.

The .223 ARMOR PIERCING ammo ban is a perfect example of these ban nutters going hog wild on their crusade. As pointed out last page, ALL .223 AMMO IS ARMOR PIERCING. These a$$holes dont even know that, & neither do the ban nutters who want to impose that ban.

They dont even know that a THOMPSON CENTER CONTENDER is a single shot break-open hunting pistol, & not a chopped down TOMMY GUN.

Its all based on stupidity, ignorance, & racist hate of another's ideology.

Here in Ohio, new gun laws will take effect in a couple of weeks that are meant to fix stupid..... Stupid here being ban nutter zombies eating brains & writing laws that show their ignorance of guns, gun parts, clips, magazines, or anything related.

The current law states that any semi auto that holds 31 or more rounds in its "CLIP"(LMAO) is a FULL AUTO firearm....LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! BUT...if that same gun holds 30 or less, it IS NOT A FULL AUTO. What a bunch of d1ckheads.

This is where they get stats for "FULL AUTO firearms. This is where the zombies start eating those brains.

Its all just for show, & for the big tingley boners of ban nuters everywhere. Here is a perfect example of changing laws that ban nutters put in place years ago.......undoing these ban nutters' dandiest handiwork, at correcting their "expert knowledge" about law-abiding citizens, the 2nd amendment, self defense, clips, magazines, etc....AND their racist fear of all of the above factors:

New Ohio gun laws take effect March 23
Last updated: March 10. 2015 2:51PM -

DARKE COUNTY - Beginning March 23, gun owners will see a number of changes to regulations on firearms and concealed carry licensing in the Buckeye State.

Ohio House Bill 234, signed into law by Governor John Kasich Dec. 19, 2014, amends a number of the state’s previously standing gun statutes.

Ohioans with a valid concealed handgun license from another state will now have that license recognized by the State of Ohio if that state has entered into a reciprocity agreement with the Ohio Attorney General. Further, if the Attorney General determines that the eligibility requirements imposed by another state are “substantially comparable” to the eligibility requirements in Ohio, the other state’s license will now be recognized.

For new residents with a concealed handgun license from another state which has not entered into a reciprocity agreement, the out-of-state license will be recognized in Ohio for a period of six months after the person becomes a resident. After this six-month period, persons wishing to continue to conceal carry a handgun must apply for an Ohio license.

Non-Ohio residents with a valid concealed handgun license from another state, regardless of whether the other state has entered into a reciprocity agreement with Ohio, will have their license recognized in the state during the period that the person is temporarily in Ohio.

The new law also lessens the amount of training time needed to obtain a concealed carry license certification – from a total of 12 hours to 8 hours – and removes a provision that a would-be licensee be a resident of Ohio for at least 45 days and resident of their county for 30 days prior to applying for a license.

Ohio’s definition of what constitutes an “automatic firearm” has also been revised. Prior to the change, a semi-automatic firearm “designed or specially adapted to fire more than thirty-one cartridges without reloading, other than a firearm chambering only .22 calibers short, long, or long-rifle cartridges” was considered an automatic firearm.

As a result of the old law, many retailers, both in and out of state, refused to sell to Ohioans rifle and handgun magazines with a capacity of more than 30 rounds, thereby creating a de facto “ban” on these magazines, though the law did not clearly state that 30-plus-round magazines were banned.

The revised law reads “‘Automatic firearm’ means any firearm designed or specially adapted to fire a succession of cartridges with a single function of the trigger.” Thus, without mention of magazine capacity, for Ohioans there are no limits on how many cartridges a magazine may hold.

Another change for Buckeye gun owners is the repeal of the law which restricted residents to purchasing long guns only in Ohio and bordering states. As of March 23, Ohioans will now be able to purchase long guns – rifles and shotguns – from a federally licensed firearms dealer in any of the 50 states. As well, residents of all other states will now be able to purchase long guns from Ohio dealers. Handgun purchases by an individual, however, are still restricted by federal law to the state in which that person resides.

For Ohio hunting enthusiasts, the new law also replaces the word “silencer” with the more technically correct term “suppressor” and allows licensed hunters to use suppressors, greatly reducing a gun’s loud noise level.

A person who cannot trust themselves with firearms will paint others as untrustworthy with firearms...as a means of psychological projection...as is being done here.

Correct, Eric.

The good news is that they are part of a minority that is steadily shrinking. This makes these ban nutters far less equivelant, but at the same time even more dangerous, as they may become desperate & & resort to a criminal means of psychological projection with firearms, much like the Newtown shooter - to prove their point, as shown over & over here.

Survey: Two years after Newtown, support for gun rights surges

Two years ago, after the Newtown school shootings in Connecticut, President Obama and supporters of gun control legislation had hoped to seize the moment. The effort failed, however, and now the moment is gone as well. In fact, support for gun rights is surging in America.

That’s the finding of a new poll by the Pew Research Center for People & the Press.

It found that, for the first time in the two decades the organization has been polling on the question, more people support gun rights than support gun control.

In a poll taken between Dec. 3 and Dec. 7, 52 percent of those surveyed said it is “more important to protect the right of Americans to own guns,” while 46 percent said it is “more important to control gun ownership,” Pew reported.

In the immediate aftermath of the Newtown tragedy of Dec. 14, 2012, 45 percent supported gun rights, while 51 percent supported gun control.

Breaking down the figures by race, the survey found African Americans’ views “have changed dramatically,” with 54 percent agreeing gun ownership does more to protect people than to endanger personal safety. That’s double the percentage in December 2012.

The proportion of whites supporting gun rights surveyed has also risen, with the figure up from 54 percent to 62 percent in the same period.

The survey sampled 1,507 adults across the country. The margin of error was plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.

Gallup surveys have been going in a similar direction.

GreenThumbz18, that is because the "usual suspects" here do not have compassion and sympathy for those officers.
Deep in their police-hating minds (and they know it...) they were wishing the worst for those brave policemen.

Proof yet again that it is not the firearm, it is the nature of the person behind the trigger that matters in these kinds of events. Godspeed to all the good guys facilitating law and order for decent law-abiding people all over the country.

Which clearly means that regulating who can own a firearm is the only logical choice that one could make is they cared about innocent people getting shot.

Didn't he boast he was going to buy a gun? After publicly stating he was purchasing a gun he's never come back to boast of "actually" purchasing a gun...in other words...he's projecting exactly like he attempts to claim others are.

The NRA, even more ridiculous than usual
By Stephen Stromberg March 12

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms just halted a rule that would have banned a certain type of armor-piercing ammunition, leading Tuesday to a lot of absurd National Rifle Association bragging about its latest victory.

“The lies used to justify the ban were shameful,” the NRA’s Chris Cox roared. “This proposal was never about law enforcement safety, it was about the Obama administration’s desire to pander to billionaire Michael Bloomberg and his gun control groups. Since they haven’t been able to ban America’s most popular rifle, they are trying to ban the ammunition instead.”

Amazingly, the NRA was even more obviously wrong than it usually is.

In fact, it was Congress that banned armor-piercing ammo in 1986, not the Obama administration in 2015. Police officers understandably worried that the bullets could penetrate the body protection they wear. However, dealers have been able to sell the ammunition in question, 5.56mm “green tip” bullets, under an exception to the law that exempts bullets used primarily for sporting purposes. The ammunition continues to be a popular match with the semi-automatic AR-15 rifle.

Yet there’s now a handgun on the market that can accept the 5.56mm bullets, too. Though many sportsmen use this type of ammunition, the introduction of a compatible handgun makes it easy for criminals to chamber the armor-piercing bullets in small concealed weapons, the sort of firearms that cops generally encounter and fear. If the 1986 law means anything, the ATF concluded, armor-piercing ammunition “for two-shot and semi-automatic handguns cannot be characterized as ‘primarily intended’ for use in sporting purposes.’”...

...The point is that the NRA’s maximalist rhetoric, designed to stoke paranoia about liberal elites disarming, then tyrannizing everyday Americans, isn’t just unconvincing — it’s often insultingly so. It’s incredible that there is still a choir that nods along with this sermon.

And when you realize that the law was written specifically for ARMOR PIERCING HANDGUN AMMO, and then if you can realize that .223 is RIFLE AMMO, & if its at all possible that you then realize that ALL .223 AMMO IS ARMOR PIERCING because it is RIFLE AMMO, only then you will understand just how fvcking stupid you are for swallowing the load of bull$hit you just posted. We do. Its time you disembarked from the D!ckhead Express & set foot on soild ground, honey.

Incorrect. There is and was no hypocrisy in my statements. There is no "tyranny" in Ferguson.
Ferguson protestors are shooting at police and this is WRONG by any measure.

The Second Amendment is a crucial component of our rights and freedoms as American citizens.
In the past couple of months I have especially come to appreciate RKBA freedoms even more.

As an aside to those who still remain hopelessly confused after much clarification:
There is a huge difference between clips and magazines for firearms.

There is no "tyranny" in Ferguson.

And there you have it-- undoubtedly the view from the "ivory tower" of the right wing. Thing is, we get a lot of speculative opinions from there on what it isn't and nothing on what it is-- because Ferguson certainly isn't Shangri La.

Ferguson protestors are shooting at police and this is WRONG by any measure.

My goodness, you paint with a broad brush here-- to the point of being vile and disrespectful. It was a lone gunman who shot twice at police, not "Ferguson protestors are shooting at police." And, yes, it is wrong by any measure. You echo the president's sentiments on that front.

The Second Amendment is a crucial component of our rights and freedoms as American citizens.
In the past couple of months I have especially come to appreciate RKBA freedoms even more.

Despite the paranoid propaganda and sentiment that was manifested prior to the Obama presidency, 2nd Amendment rights remain as intact as ever. But paranoia sells firearms and ammunition like nothing else, eh? The firearms industry has a winning formula, it seems: sell paranoia = sell firearms-- and the NRA is their highly effective propaganda arm.

My post had nothing to do with political climate, yet I can see how what I wrote could honestly be perceived that way without clarification. Due to recent lawful acquisitions I am especially appreciative to live in a freedom-loving country that has specific language penned by our beloved Founding Fathers specifying the same. Hope that provides more clarity.
