I frikkin HATED all those cheezy hair bands of the 80's !

When the grunge era began I could finally once again listen to current music .

That is exactly how I felt. I pretty much wrote the whole era off when out of the blue I heard Nirvana. It blew my mind.

It was the 1980's that gave us a rebirth of AC/DC!

And some of us just bought tickets for the Rock or Bust tour!

Woo Hoo! Kj is heading on a Northern roadtrip this summer! :)

I think you're pretty smart (but wrong me being stupid).

Do you agree you made this statement in msg 71?

If you do, then we can surmise you are both wrong AND stupid.

Get it? I picked one sentence out of your post and ran with it. You said it. You must mean that and only that.
Moral of the story... Don't cherry pick.

I vote we do not take one sentence out of context as you suggest in msg 102.

So would it be....Ill....MA.....NJ.....or....CA....

Of course I agree I mad that statement. Why would I disagree? I left a word out; everyone here knew what word that was. Did you have a problem figuring it out? I think everyone knew I intended that sentence to read: "I think you're pretty smart (but wrong about me being stupid).

What's your problem with me, LePew? We've never had any interaction until you popped in out of nowhere the other day on one of my comments to ... what? Challenge me?

I see you're Catholic like Tall. I hear he uses women here who he determines don't receive much attention. Are you one of those?

I wouldn't pursue this, LePew. I know who you're representing here. And, seeing as how "we can surmise" I'm stupid, I'll prove you are. That will be the "moral of this story", LePew.

You don't get a vote on my posts, LePew.

There may be a typo or two there, LePew. Go ahead and jump on it. Impress people with your wisdom. I left them for you.

A threat? Really?

If you want to make rules up as you go along, do not be surprised if people hold you to the same standard.

BTW, the post that got your knickers in a twist was directed to Workering.

G'night.

^^^Ain't that cute? "Knickers in a twist".

I don't wear "knickers", LePew. I live in Florida.

Your headline is absolutely right about me.

I think you're jealous. Why are you jealous? What about me makes you jealous and makes you zoom in on a simple typo like a jackal? I don't think it's a becoming trait, LePew.

I don't think that trait will get you dates.

I've read some of your posts here. For a while.

^^^I'm the "older person" here, Eric. LePew seems to have issues.

No idea why she'd want to pick on a helpless little old lady.

Sheesh. Never know what kind of fish you're going to run into here.

Are we going to have to have a "Cosmopolitan Summit" (like how I worked my name into the event?) where I sit you wonderful ladies down and we come to a peaceful accord so that we can all enjoy a free and open exchange of ideas in the belief that we should hear and we should be heard? (...fade from waving flag to black...with patriotic music...)

Earl Hickey: Hmm, no, I don't have a gambling problem, I'm winning, and winning is not a problem. That's like saying Michael Jordan has a basketball problem, or Def Leppard has an awesomeness problem. So why don't y'all pour some sugar on that?

lol! The koalas in Australia are pretty stoned most of the time too but I guess manage to "get it on" sometimes. They are not plentiful and there are breeding programmes. Do not see the attraction with those animals, boring as hell. They are called bears but are not in actual fact. The tourists go mad for them, go figure.

Whereas there is no excuse for men's violent behaviour, some women do provoke it. The real man walks away but of course we are not all sober and sane all the time.

In Canada we do it differently. We like to get our tourists really, really stoned then tell them our bears like to have their tummy's scratched. The humor is usually lost on the tourist. No one's figured out why but for some reason grizzly bears prefer Japanese tourists.

so, have we answered the question yet about are we kooks?

b/c its really hard to tell. i'm looking hard for examples.

No one's figured out why Japanese tourists are so popular to eat? Is it b/c after you eat one, you're hungry an hour later? :)

Yeah, I think we're probably a fair sample of the general population. I think people who are extremely (conventionally) hot, successful and live in urban areas are less likely to try online dating, but those individuals are likely more the rarity.

At least, I certainly hope we don't represent a more negative cross section of the population!
