It was semi rhetorical, lol, thanks hs.

I guess I should have clarified my post- I am not here for dating right now, but I have in the past, and I am pretty sure my profile always covered the basics as has been discussed so many times before here.

But honestly, its been a tough go dating!
(Eric, I have been contacted by way more men now that I put I am not dating, than I ever did before! And I did even go on a date with one, just because he seemed like a match when we chatted. But when I met him and we talked more, so much bitterness and estrangement towards his family was revealed. :( )

She likes to do the equivalent of the Bataan Death March every day and twice on Sundays.

Sounds great to me, what state.

I won't date anyone who will not date a woman his own age. Ridiculous when a woman's age automatically disqualifies her.

On the other hand, I got chewed out in a message for rejecting a gal 8 years younger than me. I'm retired and would like to find someone retired or close to it. Someone to travel with and enjoy all the spare time to do fun stuff.

OP I can only speak 4 myself: I have Deal Breakers and it weeds out quite a bit 4 me.
But I will tell you just because you think you've found the one... chances are you haven't. Had what I thought was the one, some red flags surfaced... gave the benefit of the doubt and stumbled on porn, conversations with some of the slut trash that is on every date website all the while dating me, professing love for me, in church professing Faith/Communion and walking out and doing the crude. So I say deal breakers and likes are good things but you have to trust your intuition about people. I can forgive but the forgetting, check it off as a new lesson learned about good guy gone bad. Just sayin, your mileage may vary.

The only deal breaker I have is that the person I am chatting with is open to being asked questions about the profile he posted. I was chatting with a guy who told me "it seems to me you are picking me apart and not wanting to know me at all". In actuality that is how you get to know someone. Some people are just nitwits imo.

Yes, that is one of my deal breakers as well. People here tend to hate on me because I "only" got a few years older than my age, but they have no idea how many men on all sorts of dating sites will ONLY date women younger than themselves, not even same age, or God forbid, a few years older. I'm talking men my age or older for the most part. When I was still on Match, I would get tons of messages from guys in their 50s and 60s whose age requirements were 25-45. Then they would complain to me that I "needed" (!) to raise my age limit (of course, they didn't see that they should do the same, what a joke).

A much better definition of irony than you can find in any dictionary, including Webster's.

LuvFishes, I am curious about some of your comments. I am not a religious person, but are you saying that if someone watches porn, or engages in sex talk online that that that is contradictory to their attending church? Can't someone enjoy porn or sex talk and still be a good religious person?
