You also forgot about quantum physics. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy! …Even allowing for your totally irrelevant and factually incorrect comment Is your only support that I was “factually incorrect”, this part of your post?
Einstein developed a theory about the structure of the space-time continuum. Quantum physics was developed by other people (Bohr, Heisenberg and a host of others). If so, then oh dear. I had more respect for you than your post deserves.
Einstein was very much one of the front-runners of quantum physics. Let me define my terms: quantum physics - "Quantum physics is the study of the behavior of matter and energy at the molecular, atomic, nuclear, and even smaller microscopic levels." Behavior (movement in space and time? particle and wave?), matter and energy, at extremely small size.
Lower case "q", lower case "p" (and no quotation marks) being used to refer to quantum physics more generally to also encompass quantum mechanics and quantum entanglement.
Einstein was a contemporary of Bohr. They corresponded and argued and one-upped each other throughout their careers. Einstein was awarded the Nobel prize in Physics before Bohr.
Maybe you pigeonhole "spooky action at a distance" as purely space-time continuum due to the aspect of quantum things being entangled across space (infinite) and time (instantaneous), but it describes the behavior of photons (energy, very small things), i.e. quantum physics. Isn't the phenomenon even named EPR (what's that stand for? Yes, Einstein, Podolsky, Rosen).
Proposing a theory presents an opportunity for observations which will either confirm or invalidate the theory. Observations have so far confirmed Einstein's theory, but even he did not "believe" it in the sense of a religious belief. I was not touching the religion argument (notice I did not say, or imply, anything about religion?). I do not believe in a crowned sky-daddy sitting on a throne in the clouds. I don't argue with religious zealots, it's like wrestling with a pig. Conversely, many people who claim one religion or another will also say they question the 'party line' as well as their own faith.
My comment was addressed to the point that all bases for belief in the 'invisible' mentioned up to that point were derogatory - religion, insanity, conspiracy theorists. I may have missed drug addicts and psychics, or it may have just been a matter of time before those were thrown in. Quantum physics/theory/mechanics/entanglement is a scientifically supportable reason to believe in the 'invisible.'
…many geniuses either were insane or became insane, where the label "insane" is a rather sloppily defined technical term that I did not use. People can be mentally ill without being "insane" in the vulgar sense. It’s known as sarcasm. Totally lost on you.

I can assure you it's nothing like wrestling with me. Wrestling with me is rather fun.

OT - dealbreakers in profiles (meaning, things that make me reflexively click next without a second thought): - Mention the word "God" or "church" - Non-emancipated children (including 4-legged child substitutes) - Under 6'1" - photos with guns, dead deer, animals on the car driver's lap

That right there is why I put up a couple of Pics of Me at a Cowboy Action Shooting Match..... So the Hoplophobic Women will just say next & not waste My Time........ LOL guns are a nuanced subject. I shoot cowboy single action and am very good. But, to me, shooting is a skill sport; not a way of life. I don't own any guns and I don't want to be involved with someone that is "into" fire power.
I used to have a couple pics of me shooting rifle that I'd swap between and it drew the gun nuts like crazy. I'd even say I'm not interested in talking ballistics blah blah blah but that didn't deter them. Even worse, they read I'm a lawyer and want to debate 2nd amendment. *sigh
I had a first meet with a man, once, that we went to an indoor range. After a few practice shots we had a little friendly competition. On my first bulls eye half the guys down the line turned to ask if the "girl" did that. So I did a couple more to prove it wasn't a mistake.
I still carry my paper target from the first time I shot bench rest - they didn't all go through the same hole but I cleanly cut out the center of the bulls eye. It helps to take it out when guys like you start ragging on me as a 'liberal gun hater.'
You say you specifically chose your pics to convey a message. I assume the same for every man (although some clearly don't deserve that assumption). When I see guns in a pic the message I read is guns are so central to his life that that is what he chose to market himself with. You get your choice, I get mine.

I was wondering what the implications were or are according to the Ashley Maddison website break in, in your opinion. I thought it was telling that 90% were men looking to find love in the arms of another. Also it was interesting in that the women on the site were not real in most cases like 95 % of the time. Making millions on illusions.
Not sure what they says about the state of men, women and relationships. At least all the women were not out there looking to wander through fields of lust and love. What say you.
P.S. If your lover was on the list from Ash,.ey's is that a deal breaker?

| Dealbreakers and +'s in a profile Posted: 8/21/2015 8:42:58 PM | I don't think the Ashley Madison thing is a game changer, nor does it reveal anything particularly shocking.
People have been looking for affairs since the dawn of man.
I think what it DOES reveal, which again, isn't shocking, is the FACADE so many people are living with. Especially the Christians who have been caught, who are upheld as examples of excellent fatherhood/community mentors, etc. But there's all types that got swept up in it...what a show as the shit comes raining down.
I guess we still have stereotypes as far as who we THINK are the "sleazes" and are continually stunned to find it it's often "the nicest of people."
Ultimately life will go on, people will continue to seek extra marital action, and.....the sun will rise and fall as usual.

I don't spend anytime pouring over 20-30 somethings to ever see the "mommy" thing....guess it's possible. Not sure where the meal ticket comes in.
Not real fond of "have traveled abroad extensively in the past, would love to find that special one to do it with again". Um hum
Not fond of "God's way or no way" type profiles. I don't fault them for their belief, but I've seen some pretty cruel stuff and can't imagine that's part of any master plan.

| Dealbreakers and +'s in a profile Posted: 8/23/2015 1:14:06 PM | ^^Plenty of women in their 40's where I live have that as a profession^^
You're 61 so I hope you're not looking at women who are 20-30, if you do get one then more power to you.
As for meal ticket: it means they are on welfare and looking for someone to take care of them.

Hey...hey! Just turned 61 thank you very much, don't be throwing it out there like I'm dying here.
Nope no 20-30 somethings here, heck it's tough getting a 45-50 year old woman interested on here, in real life nope....never comes up, ever. Now if my age were 59 it would make a difference. 60 is that invisible wall or line that you cross that others view as an electric razor wire fence. You can look but can't touch. Lol
Also on a unrelated side note... while channel surfing yesterday, I have now decided womens beach volley ball is my new favorite sport.
