Trump delivered another great speech. No agenda, no filter totally off prompter and people are eating it up.

By eating it up do you mean people that did not see him pull his notes out of his pocket?

His numbers will continue to grow.

Right up until people understand that the guy with gold plated toilets does not speak for the little man.

Jo...It was Peas in msg 115 that both of us referenced so by you linking Obama and Trump (and Trump hasn't done anything yet) with "right-wingnuts" you are calling Peas a 'right-wingnut".

Only in your "passive-aggressive little b!tch" imagination...

The funny (sad) thing is you totally missed her's and my, facetious intent. Anger is such a debilitating trait.
Peas and I both accept your apology. And we are pulling for ya , little guy!

And here's some more... of the "passive-aggressive little b!tch" nonsense...

We managed to get as far as seven whole posts... of discussing... without the nonsense... and you just couldn't let it be... Just not in you... at all...

Well... You obviously are bored of discussing without it... so I guess we're right back to all the "passive-aggressive little b!tch" nonsense... and me continuing to point it out...

It is too bad... after seven posts... I thought you would be done with it... oh well...

Why are notes a problem?
Most great orators off prompter use them.
Have you never given a speech HF?

As for the "little man" are you referring to yourself.
Most Americans admire achievement, thats what made America so great.
The jealousy and envy you so espouse is defeatist and crippling.
Like Ronald Reagan, Trump is tapping into that desire for a return to greatness.
Whoever it is that ultimately gets elected should take note.

and now for something new to stir into this pot:

That looks like a giant bowl of Republican Tears

You bet there is no way any one them will even watch it or actually refute anything in it though.

Because it is pretty much laid out there.

He borrows $

He skimps on the labor costs and or stiffs people money.

He then threatens the lenders that he will declare bankruptcy if they do not reduce what he owes and in some cases he actually does it.

Then he pays little to no federal taxes and the guy is an American Hero, who needs to be looked up to.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why are notes a problem?

Never said they where just noting it is no different than someone using a teleprompter.

Most great orators off prompter use them.

Along with some very sh*ty ones, thus you statement is meaningless.

Have you never given a speech HF?

Ad hominem

As for the "little man" are you referring to yourself.

Abusive fallacy

Most Americans admire achievement, thats what made America so great.

False equivalence.

The jealousy and envy you so espouse is defeatist and crippling.

Poisoning the well fallacy.

Like Ronald Reagan, Trump is tapping into that desire for a return to greatness.

Great comparison, as it is all an act.

Whoever it is that ultimately gets elected should take note.

So are you telling us you have no idea who Bernie Sanders is?

Like Ronald Reagan, Trump is tapping into that desire for a return to greatness.

Except Trump isn't tapping into the same "desire for a return to greatness." that Reagan did... That polity... has permanently split... and the part of it that Trump appeals strongly to... resides almost wholly within the Republican party...

Whoever it is that ultimately gets elected should take note.

I'm sure all the Democrat potentials are watching already...

Of course... I don't see how they couldn't be... It would be like not noticing the Brazilian Carnival dancer in the middle of the black tie party...

Yes I do and I have made many references in these posts to Bernie Sanders.
Sorry I just don't see America electing a socialist after the last 8 years of far left leadership.
It's hard enough for a party to get 3 terms but Sanders is extreme left even to Obama.
And many "shity" ones also use prompters like Obama. Hillary is the worst did you see her read that lame joke about Snap Chat off a prompter. Could it been any worse of a reading?
Sanders and Trump are resonating because they are seen as genuine. Bill Clinton had it Hillary does not.
I was not attacking you but you refer to the "little man" and your us versus them, rich versus poor ideology is just not one that I can relate to or aspire to.
I respect and desire to be like the rich.
I don't envy them I emulate them.
Greatness comes from achievement whether its financial or personal achievement, greatness is to be applauded.
I strive to be great sorry I won't apologize for that.
Aside from his bluster it is Trumps appeal also to the many Americans following him.
Time will tell.

I'm not so sure Jo... There are reports that Trump is gaining appeal with blacks. Think about his immigration stance who benefits most if he is successful... the poor. Why because illegal aliens supress wages. I would like to see the polls by race.
But again still a long way to go.

Good point, the stock market just not equipped to deal that kind of growth once again.

No worse than not understanding she just trolled you.

Maybe you should have worked harder and you could appreciate the things I have that you don't.

Far left? He's been centrist at best.
In other western nations, you know the ones outside that bubble he would be a mild conservative.

Sanders far left? another centrist at best.

Quite right there orione. Methinks a far left politician or a far right politician would cause havoc over the pond.

Most mainstream political partys are centrist now. They do not like to upset anyone.

Fair play to styrzia, front national, ukip and the sweden Democrats for actually having beliefs that resonate with folk.

Jeremy corbyn looks like he will romp the labour party leadership election and if you compare Obama to corbyn you will see Obama is just a wishy washy liberal centrist.

Nationalism is the way forward. And a big up to the slovakians or Slovenians, (cannae mind which it is) and Macedonians for their actions recently.

Well that clearly means that despite the fact that 99% of people who are considered illegal immigrants entered the USA via legal means they really need to build a wall.

It's not math kids, it republican math.

What's next, you gonna tells about some people from the GOP that want to defund an a women's health based organization so there will be more abortions and unwanted pregnancies and associated social welfare costs?

Correct ... student visas and bride visas and "visitor" visas where a person is not allowed to "legally" work or earnings are quite limited ... they really need to take a head count on those!

The teabaggers and republican dippers just don't seem to be able register that such folks really exist. Their blinders are focused on the "brown" factor.

99%
That is just another in a long line of your posts that show how ill-informed you are on this subject.

You tow the company line real well on things. At least show that you have a mind of your own at times.
Just like with your planned parenthood video nonsense, you seem intent on going down with the sinking ship.

You are a fool.

Yeah, I wanted to check that myself.

I went to Wikipedia, which is not always the best go-to on controversial issues. But they did note that the Pew Institute (very reputable, non partisan) gives the number of between 6 and 7 million entered the US illegally. That's half of the population by most estimates.

I have no idea where you got the 99% number, but I couldn't find a source for it.

His imagination comes up with all the facts.

He is a fool.
The forum jester who likes to see himself as.... what, I can't imagine.
Any who can read know this.

Why is he so anti wall anyway?
He isn't an American.
Doesn't live here. His taxes won't be spent building a wall.
His family isn't effected by the wage disparities, by the crime, or any of the reasons
illegals hurt this country.

He is a sympathizer of: rapists, rioters, looters, and illegal aliens.

Well, first let’s put the bottle down, sober up, and come out of lala land (if possible)!

The general statement I wrote in Msg. 141 was about a “concern of immigration” and this concern existing in other countries as well as the U.S. Perhaps I’m wrong but I don’t believe I mentioned anything about a wall, pros and cons of a wall, or the different ways immigrants are entering the country. I don’t believe any of the 3 articles I attached mention a wall but perhaps I’m wrong. The single point I made was about citizens in other countries having the same concern about immigration as U.S. citizens (immigration is public’s biggest concern in UK, Protesters in Germany attack refugee buses, and Refugees tear through police lines at Macedonian border).

Now, your argument would’ve had some validity if you quoted me from Msg. 127 where I actually provide a link to an article which provides information about 65 countries who have or are erecting security walls on their boarders as they try to hold back a tide of migrants. Even with this article you still would’ve failed because the article is harsh on “security walls” stopping migrants. I also provide a small statement recognizing “legitimate criticisms” within the article. Even here I don’t discuss different ways migrants are entering the U.S., I don’t provide numbers, don’t discuss costs, don’t provide an opinion for or against building a wall, don’t attempt “republican math”, discuss the GOP, women’s health, defunding organizations, abortions, unwanted pregnancies, and associated social welfare costs.

Usually, I ignore your posts because I don’t see a legitimate discussion. If given another opportunity, actually reading and comprehending what I’ve written would be beneficial.

Leading the polls a year before the election does not translate into nomination victory. History shows that a summer surge in the polls doesn’t guarantee a winner in the winter Iowa caucuses, or the presidential election in November.

Iowa Poll, August 2011
Bachmann, 27 percent
Romney, 22.3 percent
Cain, 7 percent
Paul, 5.3 percent
Gingrich, 4.5 percent

CBS News Poll, August 2011
Clinton, 45 percent
Obama, 25 percent

USA Today Poll, August 2011
Giuliani, 33 percent
Thompson, 21 percent
McCain, 16 percent

From the, "You really where not paying attention where you" file:

Alabama tried a Donald Trump-style immigration law. It failed in a big way.
August 22 at 11:10 PM
By David Weigel

In 2011, a new Republican legislature and governor enacted HB 56, the Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act. Chief sponsor Micky Hammon warned the undocumented population that he would “make it difficult for them to live here, so they will deport themselves.” Renting a house or giving a job to an “illegal” became a crime. Police were empowered to demand proof of citizenship from anyone who looked as if he or she might lack it. School administrators were instructed to do the same to children....

...The backlash was massive — a legal assault that chipped away at the law, and a political campaign that made Republicans own its consequences. Business groups blamed the tough measures for scaring away capital and for an exodus of workers that hurt the state’s agriculture industry. After Mitt Romney lost the 2012 presidential election, strategists in his own party blamed his support for the Alabama attrition policy. Those critics included Donald Trump.

what does Charles Krauthammer have to say?

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/422864/donald-trump-deportation-republicans

apparently, the issue is unaffordable. In a variety of ways. And Krauthammer sure ain't a lib.

someone mentioned things the Prez could get impeached for....Republicans own the legislature, why not do something? strange. Meanwhile, many Republican voters aren't Bush fans, so if/when Trump falls....will the nay-sayers hold their nose and vote Bush?

It's not math kids, it republican math.

So where does the 99% figure that you keep throwing out there come from?

I believe this is what HalftimeDad was referring to:

The Pew Hispanic Center estimates that 6–7 million immigrants came to the United States via illegal entry, accounting for probably a little over half of the total population.[39] There are an estimated half million illegal entries into the United States each year.

According to Pew, between 4 and 5.5 million foreigners entered the United States with a legal visa, accounting for between 33–50% of the total population.[39] A tourist or traveler is considered a "visa overstay" once he or she remains in the United States after the time of admission has expired.
