Aryan has nothing to do with being white, although in the 1800s it was **stardized to be used that way. It being used as a basis for saying one is white was nothing more than propaganda.

Kanye West announced last night on the MTV Video Music Awards Show that he will be running for president in 2020.

it's not a joke. Mr. West is worth many hundreds of millions and can finance much of his own campaign.

is anyone ALL IN with him?

walls go up and in time all walls come down

Shelley's "Ozymandias"

"I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."

ROFLMAO

I just read an interesting article about a Senator, Jeff Flake from AZ, who just might be a moderate republican...one of an almost extinct breed:

Yet here was Flake, refusing to follow the script. In 2013, he joined the bipartisan Gang of Eight to craft a comprehensive reform bill that included a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants. Earlier this August, he was the only Republican accompanying Secretary of State John Kerry to Cuba to preside over the reopening of the U.S. embassy after a 54-year diplomatic freeze. But what has really worried Flake’s most conservative constituents is the Iran deal. When the GOP senators signed a letter to the leaders of Iran meant to undermine the White House’s ongoing nuclear negotiations with the Islamic Republic, only seven members of their caucus declined to add their names — including Flake. The Arizonan vowed to consider the deal with an open mind, and for more than a month, even as every other Senate Republican came out against it and anti-Flake attack ads began airing on Arizona TV, that’s exactly what he did.

Did Trump say he wanted to stop legal immigrants from Mexico?
I certainly did not here that.
No he said he wanted to stop illegal immigration.
Never has he said he will deport Mexicans who have entered the US legally.
Perhaps you have a lump on your head or you just like to mis-report what he actually said.

When did Trump say he didn't want Mexicans?

those that may enter the United States illegally comes in all ethnic groups, but yet Trump only mention building a wall to keep Mexicans out nothing about keeping the Swedes out, or the Irish or the Germans or the Space Aliens they may land their Space ships here illegally

or perhaps I'm wrong and Trump is actually doing what "Yul Brynner" did in the movie "The Magnificent Seven" ...the walls were not built to keep the Mexicans out..but to keep the Mexicans in.....but then again that was perhaps the Slogan used to justify the building of "The Berlin Wall" ...there is always some nutcase trying to repeat the worst incidents in History ...and the scary part about it is they will always find followers

Didn't the Berlin Wall work for a long time? It crumbled from within, didn't it? Does that seem familiar? Is the purpose the same?

Can a wall be built between Sweden or Ireland or Germany or spaceships and the USA?

Didn't the Berlin Wall work for a long time?

people still escaped beyond the Berlin Wall , and that's why for a 1500 miles long Wall to work here in America....you have to be ready willing and able to kill everyone that cross it illegally even women and children

America Land of the Free, Home of the brave Mexicans that crossed the Trump Wall

Can a wall be built between Sweden or Ireland or Germany or spaceships and the USA?

since illegal UFOs will be involved perhaps a Dome would be better, and building a Dome would provide jobs for everyone on the planet not sure how it will be paid from but then again everyone is still waiting on Trump to stop ducking and dodging the question on how he is going to pay for The Trump Wall

mungojoe- The whole "build a wall thing is just SO stupid".
There are children that can't even receive a quality education, but we can afford to build a wall of that size?!
What happens when we do?
I'll tell you what happens, the people that want to get in WILL find a way to get in, last I checked the United states is surrounded, on two sides, by water. Need I say more?

A tale of two interviews: Donald Trump and Carly Fiorina on foreign policy :

After Donald Trump struggled through a foreign policy interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday, the 2016 Republican frontrunner accused Hewitt of asking "gotcha" questions and later criticized the host as a "third-rate radio announcer."

But one of Trump's competitors for the 2016 nomination, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, faced a similar set of questions from Hewitt later on Thursday - and though she conceded she has some studying up to do, she didn't lash out at Hewitt about it.

The host began by asking each candidate about General Qassem Soleimani, the head of the Iran Revolutionary Guard's Quds forces, and how the Iranian nuclear deal would affect Iran's militant proxies.

Trump began his answer by discussing the Kurds, an ethnic group in the region. When Hewitt clarified that he said "Quds," Trump replied, "Oh, I thought you said Kurds."

On General Soleimani, Trump asked Hewitt, "Is he the gentleman that was going back and forth with Russia and meeting with Putin? I read something....Not good for us. And what it shows is a total lack of respect, I mean, that the other countries would even be entertaining him, and they're entertaining him big league."

Fiorina, by contrast, launched into a lucid argument that the nuclear deal would empower Iran's armed proxies in the region. "We know that the general of the Quds force has been a powerful tool of the Iranian regime to sow conflict," she explained. "The Iranian deal - which sadly, has just been approved by Congress - starts a massive flow of money, and that money is going to be used not only to build up an Iranian nuclear weapon - which they have been hell-bent on getting for thirty years - that money is also going to go to the Quds forces, going to go Hezbollah. It's going to go to all of Iran's proxies, which is why I've said to you on other occasions, Hugh, that we have to stop the money flow."

Hewitt then asked each candidate whether they're familiar with the main players among the network of terrorist syndicates in the Middle East.

"No, you know, I'll tell you honestly, I think by the time we get to office, they'll all be changed. They'll be all gone," Trump replied. "Those are like history questions. Do you know this one, do you know that one...as far as the individual players, of course I don't know them. I've never met them. I haven't been, you know, in a position to meet them."

When Hewitt insisted he wasn't trying to play "gotcha" with Trump, the candidate didn't buy it.

"Well, that is a gotcha question, though," he said. "I will be so good at the military, your head will spin. But obviously, I'm not meeting these people. I'm not seeing these people... it sounded like gotcha. You're asking me names that, I think it's somewhat ridiculous, but that's okay."

Fiorina, facing a similar line of questioning, acknowledged she could bone up a bit on the issue. "I have to be very honest with you and say that sometimes I can get confused a bit between the name and group because they sound a bit alike sometimes, so I have to pause and think sometimes," she admitted. "But, I certainly know all those names both of the individual leaders and of the terrorist groups. I certainly understand where these terrorists are in play. I certainly understand that one of the most dangerous things that is going on right now is competition among these leaders and among their terrorist groups."

Fiorina closed the interview with Hewitt by defending the host from Trump's criticism. "I don't think they're 'gotcha questions' at all," she said. "The questions you're asking are at the heart of the threat that we face, that our ally, Israel, faces, that the world faces. It is critically important that America lead again in the world. It is critically important that we have a leader in the White House who understands the world and who's in it and how it works."

During a Friday appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Trump, as he often does when he faces tough questions from the media, lashed out again at Hewitt.

"You do have it right, and when you say Quds vs. Kurds, I thought he said Kurds," Trump said. "This is like a third rate radio announcer, that I did his show, it was gotcha gotcha, do I know this one and that one, he worked hard on that, I thought he said Kurds."

Hewitt is a twit. An arrogant, popular twit who tries to impress himself with trivia.

He wanted to ban Woodward from a library because of his views. One among other questionable actions.

Trump will be on fallon's show next week. That will be awkward. I don't think I can stomach watching it, my fave funny morning guy is on the radio then and I'll listen to that. I'm sure I'll see clips here and there.

That may be true, but if you listened to his interview, the fact of the matter is that Trump fumbled the foreign policy questions. So he retorts to his typical response, personal attacks to the reporter.

He reminds me of Sarah Palin, maybe he’ll choose her as vice-president.

Its ironic you mention Sarah Palin, I was on the phone w/ a friend talking about the Republicans who worry America is getting weak AND believe the answer is to pick a leader who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. Someone sent me a meme of Dan Quayle saying, "remember when I was the dumbest Republican you knew? Miss the good old days?"

(tho I think GB41 picked DQ b/c DQ reminded him so much of his son, GB43. Felt like he was home again.)

A businessman, a good one, would never enter a boardroom without research, and try to pass it off as the other peoples' fault. Trump wants to say he surrounds himself with the best and the brightest, well, its time to get a schoolteacher. Or any newspaper reader in America. Maybe his lack of interest in knowing, is a sign he doesn't plan to go all the way, after all?

but its ridiculous that Americans DON'T want a smart, educated person to be their leader. They'd rather the guy they could have a beer with, be in control of the nuclear football. But, these tend to be the morons who send memes of hippy Jesus in front of a nice house asking, "Would you let Jesus in?" or He's under a cross and they ask, "Would you help Jesus?"....right after they send something anti-immigrant.

apparently, they forgot that Joseph and Mary were immigrants, and no one wanted to give the woman with the anchor baby a place to stay. That Jesus tended to show up in the form of the poor traveler, claiming, "what you do to the least, you do to Me". warned that being a good Christian wouldn't be easy or rewarding in this world.

As for the Iranian deal, the CIA's own paper on this says the Iranians won't be exporting the money, but using it internally. As most dictators do, buying loyalty.

So, are you saying that billionaire trump is not a good businessman?

Did anyone help Jesus? They did just fine with private donations.

I knew that people have to reach back to Native Americans ( by the way, an Indian told me that they actually prefer Indian, like black people prefer black, not african-american) to argue for open borders but BC? That is new.

Well ok then...about the validity of the wall-concept, and employing non-objective parodies of it, let's see who responds how to this idea:

We presently have a policed southern border already, to control illegal immigration. For good reason. If you're against it in principle, does that mean that you think that we should shut down border patrolling, and completely abandon it all the way from west to east, and just leave it completely unmanned?

We presently try to monitor and control who and what comes in everywhere else...by ship, and air, etc. For good reason. Should we stop doing that too, and totally leave it all open to anyone anything anytime no matter what?

Trump on income equality:

On Sunday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump struck a populist tone when talking about hedge funds and the taxes they pay. “They’re paying nothing and it’s ridiculous,” he told John****rson on Face the Nation. “They make a fortune, they pay no tax, it’s ridiculous okay.”
He went on to say they “are getting away with murder” and that “they have to pay tax.” Without specifying exactly how he would change that, he added that he wants to lower tax rates for middle-class Americans. “The middle class is the one, they’re getting absolutely destroyed.”

Trump on healthcare:

Trump wrote 15 years ago that he supported universal healthcare because “we should not hear so many stories of families ruined by healthcare expenses,” writing that “I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one.”

Trump argued that “we need, as a nation, to reexamine the single-payer plan” — a key plank in democratic socialist Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign platform, Pointing to Canada’s government-run healthcare service, Trump said the U.S. will “have to improve on the prototype.”

Is Trump a socialist?
