Mr Trump... Answer any question intelligently...!Page 9 of 9    (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
Well ok then...about the validity of the wall-concept, and employing non-objective parodies of it, let's see who responds how to this idea:

We presently have a policed southern border already, to control illegal immigration. For good reason. If you're against it in principle, does that mean that you think that we should shut down border patrolling, and completely abandon it all the way from west to east, and just leave it completely unmanned?

We presently try to monitor and control who and what comes in everywhere else...by ship, and air, etc. For good reason. Should we stop doing that too, and totally leave it all open to anyone anything anytime no matter what?

Trump on income equality:

On Sunday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump struck a populist tone when talking about hedge funds and the taxes they pay. “They’re paying nothing and it’s ridiculous,” he told John****rson on Face the Nation. “They make a fortune, they pay no tax, it’s ridiculous okay.”
He went on to say they “are getting away with murder” and that “they have to pay tax.” Without specifying exactly how he would change that, he added that he wants to lower tax rates for middle-class Americans. “The middle class is the one, they’re getting absolutely destroyed.”

Trump on healthcare:

Trump wrote 15 years ago that he supported universal healthcare because “we should not hear so many stories of families ruined by healthcare expenses,” writing that “I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on this one.”

Trump argued that “we need, as a nation, to reexamine the single-payer plan” — a key plank in democratic socialist Bernie Sanders’ 2016 campaign platform, Pointing to Canada’s government-run healthcare service, Trump said the U.S. will “have to improve on the prototype.”

Is Trump a socialist?

I imagine his plan includes a "floating fence" and "anti-sub" netting... Wouldn't want to do it "half-way" or anything...

^^^There is actually at least one town on the Canada-U.S. border (in the midwest somewhere), where half the town is on the Canadian side, and the other half is on the American side, where the residents are free to go back and forth to the other side in their daily business. Would the wall that's proposed possibly go through somebody's living room or down the middle of the local diner?

Bones? You don't have a clue.

Trump is the best choice. We are the only country who lets people in and doesn't prosecute them for murdering our citizens. Our economy is lagging and present leader has weakened the military, inspires anti Police sentiments and promotes destruction of freedom.

The word " intelligently" is context dependent. The fact that trump is leading the polls means he's answered a lot of questions intelligently, by knowing who his audience is. Seriously, even trump can't be so stupid as to believe that he could actually carry out building that wall, either practically or politically. But, that doesn't matter if there are people who are that stupid, in which case, he gets a big chunk of votes without having to think to much about reality.

Really? Wow. Read below. What we are experiencing is no difference than a Pogrom. We are scapegoating the immigrant community because it's what a populist politician does. They unify the mob, by finding a common enemy, a common group to HATE. The populist politician once has gotten rid of the vermin, then turns in his own source of power, the people. History never lies since history tends to repeat itself.

Read below to learn the truth.

From the Criminalization of immigration in the United States by
Walter Ewing, Ph.D Daniel Martinez Ph. D and Rubén Rumbaut Ph. D

For more than a century, innumerable studies have confirmed two simple yet powerful truths about the relationship between immigration and crime: immigrants are less likely to commit serious crimes or be behind bars than the native-born, and high rates of immigration are associated with lower rates of violent crime and property crime. This holds true for both legal immigrants and the unauthorized, regardless of their country of origin or level of education.

Despite the abundance of evidence that immigration is not linked to higher crime rates, and that immigrants are less likely to be criminals than the native-born, many U.S. policymakers succumb to their fears and prejudices about what they imagine immigrants to be. As a result, far too many immigration policies are drafted on the basis of stereotypes rather than substance. These laws are criminalizing an ever broadening swath of the immigrant population by applying a double standard when it comes to the consequences for criminal behavior. Immigrants who experience even the slightest brush with the criminal justice system, such as being convicted of a misdemeanor, can find themselves subject to detention for an undetermined period, after which they are expelled from the country and barred from returning. This reality is at the core of what law professor Juliet Stumpf calls “crimmigration”—the “criminalization of immigration law.” Stumpf argues that “as criminal sanctions for immigration-related conduct and criminal grounds for removal from the United States continue to expand, aliens become synonymous with criminals." In other words, for years the government has been redefining what it means to be a “criminal alien,” using increasingly stringent definitions and standards of “criminality” that do not apply to U.S. citizens.

‘It’ll pay for itself’: Four in 10 Americans want a wall built on Canada border to ‘keep the illegals out’

Jake Crosan, 73, a retired truck driver from Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is someone who does favor a wall along the Canadian border, if one is built along the southern border.

“If you cut off one, they’re going to come in the other way,” said Crosan, a Trump supporter. “It’s desolate up there in some places on the Canadian border and they’ve gotta do something up there to stop them from coming in.”

Asked if he worried of the cost of such a project, Crosan said it would be a good investment for the government and American people. “The money we would save by keeping the illegals out would pay for itself,” he said. “They’re taking our jobs, and the more people we get back to work, they pay taxes. It’ll pay for itself.”

the good news? 6 in 10 aren't idiotic

When it comes to building walls, I guess the U.S. would need to build a wall around the entire periphery of Alaska. Alaska is joined to Canada on its east side, is a stone throw away from Russia on the west side, and would need to close off the north and south sides to prevent Canadians from sneaking in by dog sled. If there's a blinding snow storm, American radar won't be able to see the dog sleds sneaking into the U.S. if there is no wall. It would suck for the Americans who drive from the mainland to Alaska in the summer or vice versa, since it requires traveling through Canada to get there. But that's the price they pay to comply to the government imposed paranoia-fearing every non-American is a terrorist. And it would suck for the migratory arctic animals who travel from area to area looking for food, who don't care about borders. But the easiest solution is to classify them as terrorists, and then don't give a damn if they can't get past a wall to search for food.

Middle of the night harm no one burglars want to make things better for their families also.

If they get caught they suffer the consequences. Suffer the little children .
. . . . . .Oh well, daddy or mommy took that risk.

Did ICE follow that little girl home? Nah. . .

Feel free to take some illegal aliens home and feed and clothe them. Most bleeding hearts live far from the consequences, especially when their kids are school aged. LIVE.

Fear has nothing to do with it. Homosexuality advocates already overused that word, so . . .the impact of using it has significantly decreased.

Feeding your children candy bars for dinner b/c its what they want, doesn't make you an intelligent parent. As for scapegoating the immigrants, yeah, its what Serbian politicians did in the former Yugoslavia, but of course only historians know what came next (after all, it was almost a decade ago). And the Nazis with the Jews, and so on and so on. Of course its nothing new in American history--no dogs or Irish need apply. And that first war on drugs, that was on those Chinese coolies we invited in to build our railroads and then they just stayed around to smoke opium, those darn rascals.

"Crosan said it would be a good investment for the government and American people. "The money we would save by keeping the illegals out would pay for itself."

yep, this is why America is failing, b/c people actually believe this math. Jobs aren't going to Mexico or China or India or anywhere else, its the darn illegals working in California fields or in Home Depot parking lots that are keeping Americans from working all those jobs our economy is just sprouting up like weeds. Every time you swipe a card to pay for something, there used to be a human who had a job taking your money instead of a computer reading your card. Somehow the immigrants invented all these computers that took all these jobs. The mailrooms, the typing pools, the other jobs that the cellphone in an executive's pocket handles...yep, the immigrants had something to do with that.

back in the good ol' days, there was a baby boom in the population, which meant more consumers. that meant a company could actually hire people to make products, b/c there was a market for all of it. People worked, got paid, and spent that money which gave them something to work on next week. Now that generation is dying off. Ironically, a boom in the immigrant population could replace them as consumers...assuming they had a job to have a paycheck to spend.

otherwise...we lived thru a historical anomaly. won't be seeing another one soon. well, in this country at least. maybe the Chinese can show us how its done, if they can figure out how not to get in the way of it.
