And when I get a haircut, I didn't ask you to trim my freaking eyebrows. That's just strange. And rude, doing it automatically without asking. Leave my god damned eyebrows alone, you dipshit. I want big bushy ones like in old photographs of old guys. Because it's cool. So leave that shyt alone.

Her profile on the AU dating site was still active last night when I checked.

Maybe she did a self delete and is going to 're-invent' herself here?

What is fascinating to me right now is not so much the profile deletes but the picture roulette. If you don't catch it when it's up, you won't get to see what the person looks like.

I am starting to miss the smoking computer guy pic of Clooney's.

Apologies, I did mean 50 grams of processed meat.
I heard the news about 20? years ago, that nitrites in cold cuts and ham were carcinogens. A doctor was interviewed that said he would not allow his kids to eat any kind of processed meat.
Around that time, scientists discovered that eating anything barbqued, especially on the charred side, was going lead to cancer too.
Even the natural brands of deli meats that use celery extract that produce nitrites are suspect.
It's good to know these things, so we can at least make informed choices.
I'd rather roast an organic chicken or a small roast beef and use that for sandwiches anyway.

My rant of the day is this.
None of the chicks here will give my bacon a chance.
What is wrong with my pork ladies? Do tell.

Pork, the other white meat.

Under down under (in the gateway to Antarctica) we just had our most brutal winter in 50 years....
this house went through a third more firewood than previous years and killed the firebox in the process...
I'm the freaking hell done with winter....

and as for not getting laid, my last experience was so pitifully bad that even the mere thought of sex physically repulses me...
and I freaking love(d) sex...

At least in Summer's upcoming hell, I may just get some spark back from a decent brushfire.... and a yummy fireman....

TheEvolutionOfJessi- You could always move down south.
It's snowed here 8 times in my life, and even then the ground is so warm it doesn't stick.
It is entertaining to see people loose their minds when it happens.
Schools close, businesses close, you see people covered in mud and snow who try to make snow angels and some VERY interesting snowmen get made. :D (I've been guilty of the latter two myself :D )

I feel like I could be married with kids by now if I wasn't so socially awkward sometimes. I can attract women just fine but I can't seem to keep them around at all.

Today's rant at me was an upset tennant. Actually, it started yesterday while it was raining, and the roof was leaking. Well guess what- it is IMPOSSIBLE to fix a leaking roof while its raining. Today, I got griped at because the fridge wasn't keeping things as cold as he liked. As he talked, his gripes got added to, until he was yelling at me. Well guess what- I DON'T own the building. I am not his landlord. Your complaints are falling on deaf ears. But does he listen? No. This guy is not the brightest crayon in the box. Yet he knows more in his 18 years on this earth, than I do in my 59 years. If he's so dam smart, then why doesn't he have a job, car and his own home?

He does have one thing I don't- Two kids. (Nether of which are living with him. Thank god.)

And he doesn't know that his landlord want's him out.

purplerider1200- An obvious case of someone taking out their frustrations on the person in front of them instead of addressing their complaints to management.
I just moved into an apartment complex.
Right as I moved, my new place changed ownership. The woman that works in the office informed me of this.
I had some issues when I moved in.
My sliding glass door wouldn't open and close right, the drawer next to the stove wouldn't open without falling out, the spout on the shower was not connected well, so the shower was more like standing in a light rain than taking a shower.
What I paid attention to was two things:
1)The woman that worked in the office informed me they were going through a management transition and she was overwhelmed and doing her best.
2)I wasn't going to die or not be able to get around these issues until they could come fix it.
So, I did the best I could until the maintenance man fixed them and when he did, I didn't say a word to HIM, he had nothing to do with what the previous tenant had done to cause the issues, but I DID thank him when he was done.
SOME people just can't see the difference between a BIG issue and a small one.
If my roof was leaking and damaging my things, or worse, I feared the top floor was going to fall into MY apartment, then yes, I would have raised heck.
Don't sweat the small things is something that comes with age and wisdom.
He's 18, he THINKS he has a clue, but more than likely, he has a WAYS to go before he REALLY does.
Btw-HOW does he pay for the apartment without a job???

I spent last winter in Norway, this winter in South Texas.
That's not worth a rant.

In fact, other than unpacking everything, I'm rantless this week.

The time change this weekend. That's my rant. Other than that, I have nothing to rant about.

Why does it have to change? It should stay spring forward all year.

Tailgaters! Tailgaters really chap my ass.
With an odd twist last night, Karma stepped in and bit one on the ass.
Little compact/subcompact car so close I couldn't see his headlights over my tailgate when I looked in the mirror.
Karma's contribution was a woods pvssy (skunk) running out in front of me. Didn't dare hit the brakes and I didn't swerve quite far enough to avoid it. Thud chunkabump and his headlights were suddenly falling back rather rapidly.
Stopped at the C-store for smokes and as I came out they were pulling in. It was unmistakably the offending tailgater. That car seriously reeked of skunk whizz.

I guess my rant is with forumites that complain about the actions of their dates (men complaining about women dangling the sex carrot, about just looking for free meals or to get out of the house, women disappointed that their date was too much of a horn dog).

I know there would be very little to post about, and some of it IS amusing,...but really, people? Don't be disappointed when someone you consider 'hot' doesn't have the other qualities you want.

You're free to hit the road at the first sign of anything you don't like. You're not going to change these people, just find somebody compatible!

OLD is time consuming, not a quick fix.
