Ladies, would you want a stay-at-home boyfriend?Page 2 of 7    (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)

But was he your BF ? Nice you took him in, not so nice you took him out
Kinda knew what you were signing up for imo
I don't enter into relationships ( friends, ect ) with an idea of bartering

In life relationships / jobs is bartering or GAVE & TAKE.. Even pets they give something back they're happy to see
you, show their love and devotion .. And Babies ,they gave something back it touches your heart to love then for that blissful feelings.
Those people who take and take and they never give back is so tiring , that you have to drop them like a hot potatoes
then they will tell to others that you are mean and selfish, okay so be it.. It is a pity they are human with the mentality of maggots.

No thank you, I'll pass.

I prefer he goes out with me. More fun that way.

Also the sex would have to be amazing.

Well....:) :) :)

I have hired someone to do cleaning and yard-work.

That deal does not include sex, or watching Breaking Bad marathons on Netflix together, though.

Fvck off. What do you offer a relationship besides
sex and painted toe nails??

Haha...good one!

I stay home and share my easy income (stock investments)with a very grateful
Man whom I offer love, care, companionship, all household bills paid, sex on demand,
Never paint my nails,.I am happy to maintain the house, yard, cook all
the meals, buy all the food, pay for all vacations, and let my man work to pay his own bills including
child support.

In return he gives me love, care, respect, companionship, sex, massages and help with many things I can't do
around our home.In truth I think he's saved me as much if not more money than I've
Spent over the years on him thanks to my never ending honey do list! Lol

We barter in a way,but ultimately when you love someone
and choose to live together/marry, you can only give 100% of what you
have to offer and hope the other person does too.

The truth is you can't demand , expect or feel entitled to true equality without things getting
off kilter and resentful.

That's a huge reason my marriage died.

If it doesn't work for you, don't do it.
If it does hang on for dear life as life is
short and authentic character bound people are
hard to come by!!!

My guy was down and out when we met.
Separated. Unemployed.2 kids he owed CS to.
Bankruptcy.Shyt credit.Fvcking lost.

I had 14 acres I had been maintaining alone for a year,
3 kids and a huge house that needed work.

And plenty of money to share with the right man!

7 years later we've helped eachother find our feet and hearts and SEX LIVES
in the aftermath of terrible marriages and I don't give two shyts
what he has in the bank!

I care that he loves me and I love him.❤️
We are there for eachother no matter what.
He's my best friend, and I his.❤️

Love wins.

Here here! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt!

It's ALL ABOUT GIVE AND TAKE!

Call it what you want. But without it it becomes way too
one sided and unfair.

Nothing worse than being
manipulated and exploited by selfish sub-humans
who lack empathy,character or gratitude!

I'd give my last dollar to any man who'd give me his.

Preach it. That author annoys the hell out of me. To be fair, the men she married probably didn't expect much out of her besides sex and painted toe nails.

Good point Agent!

I'm sure that author will be writing about the life lessons she learned after she starts dating again at 50.

Can't wait for the pearls of wisdom she churns out next...

vvvvv

Hey, I'll take Lilith for a walk if you rub my feet at the end of the day :)

I keep singing " everybody ought to have a maid" when I read the title of the thread.
Work at home BF sounds better. Most women I know who don't work outside the home work darn hard.
I'd like a maid and a pool boy. No need for a pool.. he can clean Lily's plastic wading one.
A Chef! Oh how lovely to have someone prepare my meals. The chef I have now beeps when the food is ready ( cold in the center or lava hot)
