Shoot, I missed the 1939 Phaeton Roadmaster. A few years prior to that, Buick made one of the first factory hot rods, throwing the Roadmaster engine into the lighter Special body to create the Century, named after its 100mph potential, a big deal back then. Meanwhile, a Chevy wagon with the L72 427 engine making 425 hp with wood sides should make a trailer move, as long as you can score that Sunoco Blue super high octane.

sorry, geeked out on cartalk. My version of lockerroom. Back to the point--Natster has her issues, only she is going to change them. Her behavior may remind us of people we know IRL who act this way (I know a few myself). Our reaction to that, only we can change.

It's been a week since we had a sighting.

Nevermind ... that was just my lice - migrating from their summer pastures on my head to the southern nether regions for the winter.

Well, yeah, I did recognize SS454 for what it was, I called him LS6 once and that likely didn't even ring a bell with anyone. Maybe it was actually an LS5, not that there's anything wrong with 365bhp. But at least get rid of the frame mounted Muncie shifter, that engine torques over and the rods bind up. Oops, there I go again.

"50 years from now, are people still going to tell Naughtily the way she's living is all wrong?"

>>>some of us will be in the old phart's warehouse by then :) And soon needing that shovel.

someone came here to get laid? that happens to people?

Yup, gto figured it out awhile back. As a newbie here, I do now realize having a "random" sequence of letters and numbers - random to folks without the secret decoder ring - sets one up to be considered a trollski. But then again I have done other things besides that to be considered a troll here, lol.

Haven't been into musclecars though, in a long time...that is, aside from going to shows and ooohing and aaaahing. I still appreciate 'em, though.....coincidentally saw a SS454 Chevelle on the street this past weekend....pristine.

Traded my '69 GTO straight up for a wheezing VW Microbus, of all things, back in college (Yup, idiot)....but there was a method to my madness....The Microbus yielded itself to a crowd of people and a keg..... and a horizontal surface for....ya know...private times...very valuable in college. ;););) ......and it was more amenable than the goat for those purposes.... and it served its utilitarian purposes well. :)

There was a "reappearance" recently in the form of a new thread (question about paid dating sites). It got deleted pronto for some reason. So have some other new threads from other posters.

Maybe some people are not posting or starting new threads because they think there's a new trend? Or is it an old trend and I don't have enough history here to know the inner workings?).

I think I am not going to bother with trying to date, because every time I message a guy that fits what I like, they "view" my profile and never write me back. I don't know why not, I say nice things in my messages, that anyone could easily respond too, but yet they rather look and not talk.

As someone on another thread said:

So then what are you doing on a dating website, if you are not going to bother with trying to date, as you put it. Doesn't quite make sense don't ya think?
