We seem to have lost you mid-sentence Ouija.

You should google "Electoral College" for a decent explanation. There are some "swing" states like Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin...

# 182.... If Trump wins I'll apologize to you Canadians first and feel sorry for myself after. I did my part to stop his nonsense but it takes more than one. It's now in the hands of the American voting public. We now have to trust all of us to save our great nation.

It's a little late for that now.

The sterling job they did in the primaries put us in this unenviable position now.

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool me three times......I'm a voter.

I wonder if there will be a special investigator into SNL, Alex Baldwin may have to leave the USA.

All kidding aside, I honestly wonder what will happen to free speech, I sure wouldn't want to be a comedian making fun of Trump if he really does become POTUS.

If this does happen, it will be a time to keep a low profile, Trump will be hard to predict how much he will hold to a rule of law. From what I have seen, he can be vindictive.

Now I see several states where either Hillary or Trump is up or down a less than a 100 votes.

Right now it's 244 to 215 EV.

Maybe Chump will resist being thin skinned. Maybe Trump Jr's email to Kasich that the VP would run domestic and foreign policy will result in experts running things. Maybe Chump will mend fences with the GOP. maybe good trade deals will come out. Maybe there will be buyer's remorse when the wall doesn't turn out right and workers realize computers can still replace them and Chump deregulates the banks. Maybe there will be ticket-splitting. Maybe White Male Privilege got a few more years of life. Maybe Americans vote in a cycle, going from radical Republican to radical Democrat and back again, unable to agree on a middle road.

Makes me wonder if any of you dems actually paid attention to Trump when he was ahead in the polls. Once ahead, he calmed down. He actually stayed that way when the polls went against him. Now that it's over, he can move ahead, make plans, and go about the business of make things better for all-For even you doubting dems. Nothing would please me more than to say "I told you so", Not now, but a year from now, when things start picking up.

Elections are rigged. Party A created a white Obama by juxtaposing Trump with the nasty foreigner Ted Cruz. Party B nominated the most unlikable candidate they had and had her run against a real social democrat so voters could see how much she sucks. Now liberals can forget what a disappointment Obama and Hillary were and look forward to the next rigged election.

Trump knows he's running for a party that represents bigots and rich creeps. Cheating on his taxes or molesting some Hollywood news bunny isn't going to damage his credibility with right wing voters.

I gotta give you credit on some of your observations, and in being so sure Trump would be the winner, which like most everybody else, I doubted highly.

So keep him happy and he wouldn't release any nuclear weapons?

What will Trump do if the rest of the world doesn't want to cooperate with Trumps agenda? What if congress opposes him like it did Obama? What happens if someone publishes a negative news piece, will the FBI show up at their office.

Everyone is pleasant when things to there way, what is going to happen when it doesn't go his way?

I guess we will find out.

I haven't forgotten what happened in 2000. Bush stole the Florida election with the help of his brother Jeb. And democrats instead of doing everything in their power to create a constitutional crisis and thoroughly discrediting the presidency allowed Bush to start an illegal war and trample the constitution.

What surprised me is that Trump didn't get more votes. I thought he would win by a wide margin. Election day coverage was also reporting record turnouts but according to the "official" result it wasn't. Both parties got fewer votes than 2008 and 2012. Go figure. I really don't believe anything they say anymore.

There are allegations that Trump cheated. That black voters were scrubbed from the rolls in Ohio and North Carolina. Interesting because Ohio Governor John Kasich was also one of the republican shill candidates who pretended to hate Donald Trump for not being nice to black people. Establishing Trump as the populist outsider who has his own billions and doesn't have to answer to the special interests or the PC police. 2000 election swindler Jeb Bush also made a cameo appearance as republican scumbag candidate and accused Trump of not being respectable enough.

What's most telling is that it's the same names who keep turning up. Jeb Bush, John Kasich, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani. Even Chris Christie is getting a job. It's time to heal and come together as a party and as a nation.

I suspect Trump might be getting short-changed on the popular vote to help promote this plan to eliminate the electoral college. Voters should eventually be able to figure out that elections can be rigged by manipulating the black vote in a handful of battleground states.

Get rid of the electoral college and you don't have to worry about winning every state you can rig your elections from the mayor's office in Chicago.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

Congress can't even agree on a budget or a supreme court justice, changing the electoral college would require a constitutional amendment to the 12 amendment which helped create the electoral college.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

Fat chance of getting that sort of agreement from 2/3 of BOTH HOUSES or 2/3 of ALL STATES.

Talk about losers
Oh what a treat! Tonight's replay of late night with Colbert from election night. Nothing but crickets, moaning, groaning, especially when Floridas results are given off camera, oh man. Colbert f*cking admits this is not a comedy show and I'm not doing my job right now. Scary how clairvoyant I show myself to be. I'm Schadenfreudeing more than a m*therf*cker of a leftist protester beating the f*cking s*hit to near death out of a Trump voter.

>>>so, the Schadenfreude comes from watching Chump supporters punch demonstrators in the back of the head, of Chump saying, "carry them out in a stretcher, i'll pay the legal fees"?

^^^Sure whatever you say bud if that's what gets you through the night.

Thelma and Louise- ing.
Hahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

in the last eight years, Democrats have lost 10.2 percent of their Senate seats, 19.3 percent of their House seats, 20.3 percent of their legislatures, and 35.7 percent of their governorships. We can add: These are the lowest Democratic numbers since 1928.

In the caustic words of Post reporter Philip Bump, “That whistling sound you hear is the party Thelma-and-Louise-ing.” Movie fans will recognize that as a reference to the ending scene in the 1991 movie Thelma and Louise, in which the title characters drive off a cliff, plunging to their death.

As you point this out, why not take a deep breath and wonder why people are so pissed off today, pointing fingers at the Dem side, while you brag about how many Republicans have been in Washington for the last 8 years. It does nothing for the words that you keep on typing.

So, Republicans have been in Washington for the last 8 years, denying Obama everything they can (According to Mitch), blocking a SCJ pick they said they'd approve, barely passing budgets....and the same Republicans complain about how their government works and want Chump to get rid of the corruption found in a government Republicans have been running? Maybe they should fix government by cleaning out the party that they've kept voting in to do all these horrible things they complain about themselves doing.

Sounds confusing and round-robin, but hey, there's right wing logic for ya. No wonder the National Review and Paul Ryan had so many negative things to say about Chump. I will admit, Chump sounds calmer lately. Maybe its b/c he won the prize, or maybe he's finally realizing he has to perform his miracles now not just talk about it, or maybe the enormousness of it all is finally sinking in...and he doesn't have an entire party to back him up like Establishment politicians do.

Be nice to the "little people" on your way up, b/c when you fall from grace you'll be seeing the people you stepped on, one more time. And boy, will they be glad to help you in your journey.

Again, that was the whole point.

Part of the reason Trump was elected was because the Republican powers that be didn't want it.

Clinton had to reverse his campaign talk on NAFTA once was he was in office,

People will wait to see what actually happens with Trump before getting all hysterical like you people.

Trump ran against the democrat machine, the media, the republicans, Fox News, Hollywood, early morning talk shows, late night so called comedy shows, Saturday Night Live and came out victorious in a yuuuuuuuuugggggeeee way.

I've ALWAYS been for the underdog.

Quit your whining juveniles, grow a pair, man up, deal with it, move forward.....live.
Got nothing more to tell.
