As I said previously, as much as people want change from the establishment, without his signature issues, the call for the “great impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful” wall, and banning Muslims from entering the U.S. Tic Tac Trump would’ve never made it out of the primaries. Some of his plans have already been rolled back.

Fasten your seatbelts; it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Supporters To Trump: Break Campaign Promises At Your Peril :

Trump talked a tough game. His backers expect similar actions.

WASHINGTON - Kathryn Stellmack expects the world from Donald Trump.

After listening to his speeches and casting her vote for him, she expects Trump to toughen immigration laws, restore lost jobs, upend a corrupt political system, build a wall on the border, and be, as the millionaire put it, the “greatest jobs president that God has ever created.”

“We expect him to move forward on all the items he has promised to move forward on,” said Stellmack, 69, a retiree in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“And if he doesn’t, we will hold his feet to the fire.”

After a presidential race fueled by brash but constantly shifting policy proposals, Trump’s millions of followers ― from social conservative activists to struggling blue-collar workers to hardline militant groups ― say if he does anything less than take a wrecking ball to business-as-usual Washington, they will be disappointed.

“We’ll be watching, Mr. Trump,” said Stellmack.

Mark Morris, a leader of the Colorado-based Three Percent United Patriots militia group, said he understood Trump would need time on some issues, but he expected quick movement on repealing Obamacare and appointing a conservative Supreme Court justice to fill the seat of the late Antonin Scalia.

Morris warned Trump should not count on his followers to stay with him if he did not produce results.

“People voted with a lot of faith that he will come through,” he said. “I don’t think it is going to work out very well if he doesn’t get the things done and he comes back at the end of four years and says I need four more years to accomplish what I need to accomplish.”

Trump had to take strong action on immigration given his rhetoric, said Roy Beck, head of Numbers USA, a group that favors reduced immigration levels.

He said Numbers USA and other grassroots groups would pressure Trump to keep his promises to bolster enforcement and cut back on legal immigration and foreign workers, including eliminating immigration by low-skill and non-extraordinary-skilled workers.

“There’s no way he would have been elected president if he had not so boldly made immigration his top issue,” Beck said. “You have to come through on your top issue.

Wow why the personal attacks... do you feel inferior?

Nothing personal.

There are many just like you that are little confused on this one.

You're opinions/comments are nothing special and just repeats.

Go ahead, and tells us something that you didn't hear or think you read. (you still need practise by the way)

As for your premise I am sorry but you are wrong.

The race was decided partially because of those didn't cast a ballot, at all. There were actually no "winners", including those that did decide to cast a vote, for whomever. If history has shown us anything, it's reruns, just different actors.

We just went thru the same thing up here sparkey. It wasn't that long ago. Our country is just as close to being split as the one down south. Our country, today, has a prime minster that "beat" out a man because of the same divide. You know, the guy and party you blame for parts of your province looking like a ghost town.

The kid.

Yeah, that guy.

...the call for the “great impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful” wall, and banning Muslims from entering the U.S.

If Trump wants to ban people based on their religious preference, why not ban everybody who practice any religion, to level the playing field-a ban on Catholics, Protestants, Methodists, Baptists, etc .? Only allow atheists in the country. Christians and Christian nations have a long history of being at war and suppressing (murdering) anybody who opposes their views. So why cherry pick one specific religion to hate when other religions have shady backgrounds, who have promoted hatred of non-followers, and have slaughtered people in the name of their God?

Chump said of Hillary, "she fought very hard. Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country. I mean that very seriously". So, apparently the militia members who are watching very closely, should pay attention--their CINC just said they owe her a major debt of gratitude. Meanwhile, he's going to have "i didn't beat my wife" Bannon from Brietbart as advisor (let Chump be Chump) and GOP insider Priebius WHCOS--talk about infighting! Its going to be like the Bush White House, Condi Rice and Powell against Rumsfelf and the neo cons. Yikes. Deadlock inside the Executive Branch--who will win, outside Breibart or insider Republican chairman?

Here we go with the "hate" thing again. Who hates Muslims? (Wanting to protect yourself is not hatred.)
That would include a couple of relatives, some coworkers and neighbors. Nah.
Now, if they threaten convert or die, that may be another discussion.

The false equivalency of all religions may be born of hatred of all religions, however. Can't help you there.

Let Chump be Chump has worked really well so far, tempered by Reinhold. Hmm. Has worked so far.

What's "working" Dee?

I'm seriously asking all of you what do you think is "working"?????

I believe not only do the people that are not so happy with the outcome have to "wait and see", so do those that are happy with the outcome. It's going to be a work in progress, and right now Mr.Trump is gonna have to figure who he has on his side, and is capable of the jobs that are to be filled.

Of course you have to wait and see.

So far, operative words, it has gotten Trump elected. Maybe it will get him what he wants as far as legislation and policy.

Thanks for the link!

Trump applied for a difficult job he knew very little about :

On Thursday, just two days after the election, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, toured the West Wing. Kushner, who has a business background, has been a key adviser to Trump, but he has no meaningful experience in politics or government.

And so it perhaps shouldn’t have come as too big of a surprise when Kushner, during his White House tour, asked how many West Wing staffers would remain in their jobs after the new administration took over. The answer, of course, is practically zero: Trump will need his own team.

The trouble is, Kushner isn’t the only one on Team Trump who’s completely unaware of such things. As the Wall Street Journal reported, the president-elect is ignorant, too.

During their private White House meeting on Thursday, Mr. Obama walked his successor through the duties of running the country, and Mr. Trump seemed surprised by the scope, said people familiar with the meeting. […]

After meeting with Mr. Trump, the only person to be elected president without having held a government or military position, Mr. Obama realized the Republican needs more guidance. He plans to spend more time with his successor than presidents typically do, people familiar with the matter said.

Note that when Obama and Trump spoke briefly to reporters on Thursday, the Republican president-elect turned to the incumbent and said, “I look forward to being with you many, many more times.”

Left unsaid: “I’m starting to worry that I have no idea what I’m doing, so please help me.”

The New York Times reported over the weekend, meanwhile, that Trump “talking with his advisers about how many nights a week he will spend in the White House.” He apparently hopes to maintain parts of his routine, which means spending time in New York, not D.C.

“The questions reflect what Mr. Trump’s advisers described as the president-elect’s coming to grips with the fact that his life is about to change radically,” the article added. “They say that Mr. Trump, who was shocked when he won the election, might spend most of the week in Washington, much like members of Congress, and return to Trump Tower or his golf course in Bedminster, N.J., or his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach on weekends.”

Do you ever get the feeling the presidency is going to make Donald Trump kind of miserable? Like he applied for a job he knew very little about, never read the job description, and isn’t quite sure what to do now that he has it?

He'd have to screw up worse than obama. obama was at his peak at the golf course.

Since Trump figured out how to beat the liberal media, and the marxist democraps, then I'd say he'll be able to do the job pretty well.

No surprise there.

I've seen it several times before.

No one is ever fully prepared to be president, and no one comprehends the job fully until they are actually in it.

Supposedly, Ronald Reagan was surprised to find out how little time he had to respond to a nuclear strike.

Do you ever get the feeling the presidency is going to make Donald Trump kind of miserable?

Again, no surprise.

A few months ago, someone who knows him well predicted in a news article that after a week on the job (assuming he won), Trump would be saying, "What the h*ll have I gotten myself into?"

There should be a time clock in the White House, where Trump punches in Monday morning and punches out Friday night.

Its no surprise Chump didn't expect so much work to be President. Only his supporters forget the time he was being interviewed and started mentioning his cabinet and the interviewer had to stop him saying no candidate does that. Chump's used to a TV show where someone else does the work and he pretends to be boss. And now he's going to have to give up his legacy, according to buddy Guliani:

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/rudy-giuliani-trump-blind-trust-231296

But, at least he gets a better economy--thanks to Obama--than Obama started with:

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/01/magazine/president-obama-weighs-his-economic-legacy.html?_r=0

https://www.thebalance.com/what-has-obama-done-11-major-accomplishments-3306158

"The private sector has added jobs for 73 consecutive months — some 14.4 million new jobs in all — the longest period of sustained job growth on record. Unemployment, which peaked at 10 percent the year Obama took office, the highest it had been since 1983, under Ronald Reagan, is now 5 percent, lower than when Reagan left office. The budget deficit has fallen by roughly $1 trillion during his two terms. And overall U.S. economic growth has significantly outpaced that of every other advanced nation."

Still, Bush beat Obama handily in taking time off to clear brush from his ranch.

its just so darn hard to argue with the facts.

A lot of people had voting dyslexia. They thought they were suppose to vote for the worst candidate possible. If Trump said he was going to deport Muslims to the planet Jupiter, his supporters would believe him. What happens if the U.S. deports people, and the country they came from doesn't want them back? That can happen if they came from a war torn nations, where cities, towns and villages are wiped off the face of the earth and there's no infrastructure (or government) in place to accept more people.

Trump said he sees no problem with using nuclear weapons to take care of problems with middle eastern countries. Is he going to nuke countries before or after he deports every immigrant? Either way, they are up shyt's creek.

^^^^^^^ So right Ll, Obama has done a terrible job and "at this point" like you so correctly state, we all are seeing what has happened. Hopefully we can right the ship. Just like Hillary and her track record, Obama and his track record were miserable. And those who voted for him in the past did not vote for Hillary, the person he put all his might behind. In the last few days before the election, he yelled that people needed to help with his legacy by voting for Hillary. That in itself spoke volumes in that Hillary would continue with his ideas. Well, the people rejected those ideas. So much for a good legacy. Now is the time to get this country going in the right direction and now that we all have a new President, hopefully we will.

God, you must be living in an alternate world. Are you intentionally dense?

White nationalists, the American Nazi party and the KKK rejoice and celebrate your candidate victory. Don’t forget they are also celebrating that Stephen K. Bannon (antisemite woman batterer) has been named President-elect chief strategist.

This is proof of the ugly direction Tic Tac Trump intends to take our country. No wonder we have become the laughingstock of the world. Maybe we’ll see you on TV during the KKK victory parade.

We've taken the mantle from the Italians:

Tic Tac Trump is having a hard time filling cabinet positions. His entire transition team is in turmoil.

WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald J. Trump’s transition was in disarray on Tuesday, marked by firings, infighting and revelations that American allies were blindly dialing in to Trump Tower to try to reach the soon-to-be-leader of the free world.

One week after Mr. Trump scored an upset victory that took him by surprise, his team was improvising the most basic traditions of assuming power. That included working without official State Department briefing materials in his first conversations with foreign leaders.

Two officials who had been handling national security for the transition, former Representative Mike Rogers of Michigan and Matthew Freedman, a lobbyist who consults with corporations and foreign governments, were fired. Both were part of what officials described as a purge orchestrated by Jared Kushner, Mr. Trump’s son-in-law and close adviser.

The dismissals followed the abrupt firing on Friday of Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, who was replaced as chief of the transition by Vice President-elect Mike Pence. Mr. Kushner, a transition official said, was systematically dismissing people like Mr. Rogers who had ties with Mr. Christie. As a federal prosecutor, Mr. Christie had sent Mr. Kushner’s father to jail.

Donald Trump Is Picking His Cabinet. Here’s a Shortlist.
Prominent American allies were in the meantime scrambling to figure out how and when to contact Mr. Trump. At times, they have been patched through to him in his luxury office tower with little warning, according to a Western diplomat who spoke on the condition of anonymity to detail private conversations.

What could possibly go wrong, while his kids are running the Trump international empire?

By Julianna Goldman CBS News November 14, 2016, 6:15 PM

Trump team seeks top-secret security clearances for Trump's children

President-elect Donald Trump is potentially seeking top secret security clearances for his children, sources tell CBS News.

The Trump team has asked the White House to explore the possibility of getting his children the top secret security clearances. Logistically, the children would need to be designated by the current White House as national security advisers to their father to receive top secret clearances. However, once Mr. Trump becomes president, he would be able to put in the request himself.

His children would need to fill out the security questionnaire (SF-86) and go through the requisite background checks.
While nepotism rules prevent the president-elect from hiring his kids to work in the White House, they do not need to be government officials to receive top secret security clearances.

The issue raises another layer of questions about the unique role his children are playing and conflicts of interest with their running his network of businesses.

Mr. Trump’s children Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr., as well as son-in-law Jared Kushner, were named to the president-elect’s transition team late last week. Though they were an integral part of his campaign team, Mr. Trump’s children have all stated that they will not hold formal roles in the government.

“No,” Ivanka told CBS News’ Lesley Stahl when asked during a “60 Minutes” interview if she would join the administration. “I’m going to be a daughter. But I’ve-- I’ve said throughout the campaign that I am very passionate about certain issues. And that I want to fight for them.”
