Well, that's one way to keep headcount up!

Don't go, there are only 15-20 regulars left who are age appropriate and non-psychotic.

You were on a date, and a friend of hers comes along, sits at your table, interrupts the date... and she's fine with that?

I don't know if it's normal in some "cultures" but I'd find that rude. Unless it was a brief stop.. even then.

A date is normally for the two persons... not a collective event... hmm?

What jeallybean said.
What she did shows a lack of manners and was rude.

Do you want to date a rude person?

This whole scenario shows a lack of boundaries and respect towards you. It also shows she is not all that interested so personally I think its time to cut your losses and move on.t.

Seki1949 you can test drive my BMW. Sounds like a perfect first date. It has low mileage, housed in a garage.

That's so weird Op... I personally would just pay the portion of the bill only involving you and your date. And give the other person their bill. Also why would the other person being touching the other persons arm? Sounds like they are affectionate friends... maybe it's just something they do and it's normal for them. Thd best advice is to say how you feel. Once the person ordered let them know that they'll be paying for what they eat if that's how you feel. Ask the girl about the friendship between her and the other person.
