What is the point in waiting? There is no peace process. Israel's friends will still be it's friends, it's enemies it's enemies. This changes nothing.

The "peace process" is something that you work towards....you build a foundation on which it rests...in this case the foundation would be better relations with the Arab countries that surround Israel....when you solidify this foundation, then it opens up the doors to "sincere" dialog (not mechanical dialog...that diplomats pass on to one another) to the extent that high level leaders can one day meet face to face, in a somewhat friendly setting.........and that is when real peace is in reach...when one side takes in consideration, the needs and concerns of the other side...not because they are being forced to...but because they want to!

What is the point in waiting?

see above.

it's enemies it's enemies.

as long as you keep viewing Israel's neighbors as "sworn enemies" forever and ever, then you put unpassable obstacles in front of you..........the goal is to have your enemy see you as a Human being worthy of respect, which hasn't come easy for Israel, but by knocking down some of the political-economic barriers was a solid first step

This changes nothing.

When you buy into Trump's way of thinking, you usher in failure.........Trump didn't make this proclamation because he thought it would enhance Israel's standing..........he did it because everyone advised him not to, and like the Narcissist that he is, his ego gets puffed up when he goes against the grain, outta spite...when you realize that Trump thrives on chaos (domestic and international), you'd see what I mean.

Israeli leaders could not decline Trump's proclamation because doing so would make them look stupid in the public eye.....but privately they can't be at ease, not knowing what degree of instabilty will result.....and its not just from Arab countries, its also from many 3rd world nations who Israel cultivated a relationship with.

When neo con, Iraq war supporter John Bolton praises your work at the UN...you know you've done the right wrong thing

Former CIA director John Brennan put it succinctly:

"Trump Admin threat to retaliate against nations that exercise sovereign right in UN to oppose US position on Jerusalem is beyond outrageous. Shows @realDonaldTrump expects blind loyalty and subservience from everyone—qualities usually found in narcissistic, vengeful autocrats."
