Tom, I'm going to take a wild stab and guess that because of your height. you developed a Napoleon Complex. It happens to most very short guys...but you know by your sixties...you hopefully become more at ease with yourself. I would suggest watching Robert Reich and his resistance report on facebook. The guy is maybe only 4 feet 11 inches tall or so, yet he handles himself with class and dignity. You might learn something from him.

Tomfiend- Oh, snap! ^^^^
You give me hope Tom, seriously.
I take back what I said about you. Unlike others, I give credit where it is due.
I'm perfectly ok with you disagreeing with me, when that happens, we will have to agree to disagree.
I LOVE debate, fighting, not so much.
There is where I must take ownership of myself and my comments.
Anyway, it's great that you have shown that you CAN debate.
AND, you know bs when you see it and say so.
Awesome!

A mystery starting to unravel!

Report: Russian Elite Invested Nearly $100 Million In Trump Buildings, Records Show

"At least 63 individuals with Russian ties have bought nearly $100 million worth of property."

MIAMI/MOSCOW, March 17 (Reuters) - During the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald J. Trump downplayed his business ties with Russia. And since taking office as president, he has been even more emphatic.

“I can tell you, speaking for myself, I own nothing in Russia,” President Trump said at a news conference last month. “I have no loans in Russia. I don’t have any deals in Russia.”

But in the United States, members of the Russian elite have invested in Trump buildings. A Reuters review has found that at least 63 individuals with Russian passports or addresses have bought at least $98.4 million worth of property in seven Trump-branded luxury towers in southern Florida, according to public documents, interviews and corporate records.

Since Trump is into building walls, he better have one built in the Bering Strait, to stop Russian investors from entering the U.S. via Alaska. Lots of luck though, trying to convince Russia to pay for the wall.

Goodness, for someone who dates a lot, there sure is a big focus on what is happening to other peoples' asses. Not that i'm picking, I can see the people who flame mungo and others for their language are obviously all over you. Even Drinks is talking about it, wow, never seen that before. i'll let it be since everyone else who's spoken up before is letting you have it now. Meanwhile, Chump isn't worried about Russian investors in Alaska, he wants Sarah Palin to finally see some of Russia from her front door.

"President Donald Trump deflected blame for having angered the U.K. government by repeating an allegation he was spied on by British intelligence, and declined to back away from the unsubstantiated claim that his predecessor, Barack Obama, put him under surveillance. Trump stuck by his allegation, which has been refuted by the heads of the House and Senate intelligence committees"

His budget plan is despicable yes.... but:

1) As we all know it is a starting point from which he intends to negotiate.

2) Regardless... his Budget plan is already dead on arrival. As I previously said... no wall, no health care plan, no one-trillion infrastructure program.... no tax cuts. None of that is going to happen.

This is what is going to happen:

bickering and intransigence. Now that the debt ceiling deadline is here.... there will be manipulations and transfers from the trust accounts... etc...to fund government expenditures, and as we get closer and closer to the government running out of money, likely by early May, there will be more and more negotiating....BUT....and here is the point....

They are not going to reach a deal to raise the debt ceiling. There is too much ill will to do so. All but essential government services are going to come to a halt. The Stock Market is going to go into Free Fall...the next great recession is then going to take hold.

They will finally reach a deal..... but its going to be based on saving the republic....and tax cuts are not going to be part of the bargain, nor will the military get a 10% increase. It will be lucky to keep the money it has.

Stay tuned.

Right on Schedule....they delayed the health care plan vote because it couldn't pass....lots of angry people....that means the debt ceiling fight is going to be vicious. Casino is getting closer to crashing. And by the way... car sales way down, restaurant traffic...way down...housing costs...topping off...sales starting to decline...inflation up so Fed will continue raising (although as of yet has not affected the bond market) ....retail traffic and malls...dying. Financial carnage right around the corner. Stay tuned.

You should have made a thread... about chicken sh!t... Then we could all have talked about you...

Oh wait... we do that anyway... Unfortunately... even the low-brow comments... are over your head...

But please don't delete your profile... I've got a million "Tom Thumb" jokes lined up... just waiting for the right "setup"...

I would ask you to play "straight man"... but I know that would be too much of a stretch for you...

I kinda like the name Tom Thumb

That's good... but you do realize that it has nothing to do with the fairy tale character... don't you...?

It's not to suggest you are only as TALL as an ordinary man's thumb... Not even close... but it does compare something else of yours... to an ordinary man's thumb...

Di.ck Cheney calls Russian Interference a possible act of war! (and who would know better than he, about war-ring)

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/cheney-russian-election-interference-could-be-%e2%80%98act-of-war%e2%80%99/ar-BByTLKi?li=BBnb7Kz

Not one of my Fav politicians, and I'm not sure if I'm on board with Cheney's assertion; as interfering with elections..... is not exclusive to Russia

But at least he (along with McCain) does not see this matter as a "political football" to be kicked outta bounds (in order to favor his team), but rather as an assault (of sorts) that could have been directed at ANY political party that was NOT inline with Putin's agenda at that point in time.

Meanwhile, over at the State Dept, which could have been called on to defuse foreign policy issues if Chump wasn't trying desperately to cut its budget, the SecState is looking over his shoulder:

"The document does mention climate change as a potential concern that may reduce demand for the company's products, but without assigning any quantitative risk to it. Elsewhere, in a 2014 report that claimed to address shareholder concerns about climate risk, the company dismissed the possibility of deep cuts in carbon emissions as "highly unlikely." The potential misinformation provided to investors affects more than just hedge fund managers and other billionaires. It means that lots of teachers, firefighters and other ordinary workers have their retirement savings tied up in a company that could be seriously overvalued. So who is Wayne Tracker? Tracker is the email alias for Tillerson created by Exxon, and the New York attorney general suspects it may have been used to conceal some of then-CEO Tillerson's communications regarding climate change. The company was required to produce all relevant internal communications on climate risk to comply with a state subpoena, but failed to produce the bulk of the emails from the Wayne Tracker address."

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/rex-tillerson-may-be-in-hot-water-over-exxonmobil-emails/ar-BByU741?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp

and how's America's economy doing?

"Posen, who served at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in the mid-90s, said that GDP (gross domestic product) growth targets of 3 percent or more are unobtainable given current productivity and employment rates in the U.S. Add to that intended tax cuts and financial deregulation under Trump and the country will find itself trapped in a boom-bust cycle, Posen said. "The work force is only growing at 0.5 percent and productivity's at 1 percent so it can't reach these 3-4 percent growth targets. If unemployment is, unfortunately, about as low as it's going to go, you can't pick this up," he told CNBC Tuesday.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/economist-us-heading-for-recession-after-2-years-of-unsustainable-growth/ar-BByXgPW?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp

so much for paying for the wall and infrastructure, but hey, at least Chump can help the rich pay less in taxes. At least someone will approve of his work:

"And that is actually the new bad news for Trump. Sure, he’s now seen a daily low that suggests he’s pretty unpopular. But last week he hit a new low as well of 39 percent — after all the volatility is smoothed out. That’s lower than Obama ever saw during any single week. What’s more, we pointed out last week that the results of approval polling varied depending on whether you were looking at likely voters. Gallup, which compiles approval ratings of all Americans, consistently had lower approval ratings than other pollsters because Trump’s base of support tends to be more likely to vote (to Hillary Clinton’s eternal consternation).

Donald Trump's energy plan based on 'debunked' study funded by coal industry, environmentalists claim
'In taking a sledgehammer to US climate action, the administration will push the country backward, making it harder and more expensive to reduce emissions'
Ian Johnston Environment Correspondent / Tuesday 28 March 2017 12:19 BST

Donald Trump’s plan to ditch Barack Obama’s flagship policy on climate change is based on a flawed study paid for by the coal industry, a leading environmental think tank has claimed.

The President is expected to issue an ‘Energy Independence’ executive order which could significantly undermine measures introduced by the Obama administration to reduce carbon emissions. The announcement is also expected to include a review of the Obama-era Clean Power Plan....

Trump-Russia investigation: House Intelligence Committee 'cancels all meetings this week'
Several congressional committees are investigating Russia' role in the 2016 election
Andrew Buncombe New York / Tuesday 28 March 2017 13:54 BST

The House Intelligence Committee has cancelled all meetings scheduled for this week, as mounting hostility threatens to wreck its investigation into links between Russia and the Donald Trump campaign, according to reports.

The move comes amid criticism from Democrats in the wake of chairman Devin Nunes acknowledging he went to the White House grounds to review intelligence reports and meet a secret source behind his claim that communications involving associates of President Donald Trump were caught up in “incidental” surveillance.

Clinton and Russian Money payments into the Clinton Foundation scam

Leaders of the Canadian mining industry, have been major donors to the charitable endeavors of former President Bill Clinton and his family. Members of that group built, financed and eventually sold off to the Russians a company that would become known as Uranium One.
The sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.
And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.
At the time, both Rosatom and the United States government made promises intended to ease concerns about ceding control of the company’s assets to the Russians. Those promises have been repeatedly broken, records show.
The New York Times’s examination of the Uranium One deal is based on dozens of interviews, as well as a review of public records and securities filings in Canada, Russia and the United States. Some of the connections between Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation were unearthed by Peter Schweizer, a former fellow at the right-leaning Hoover Institution and author of the forthcoming book “Clinton Cash.” Mr. Schweizer provided a preview of material in the book to The Times, which scrutinized his information and built upon it with its own reporting.
Whether the donations played any role in the approval of the uranium deal is unknown. But the episode underscores the special ethical challenges presented by the Clinton Foundation, headed by a former president who relied heavily on foreign cash to accumulate $250 million in assets even as his wife helped steer American foreign policy as secretary of state, presiding over decisions with the potential to benefit the foundation’s donors.
In a statement, Brian Fallon, a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton’s presidential campaign, said no one “has ever produced a shred of evidence supporting the theory that Hillary Clinton ever took action as secretary of state to support the interests of donors to the Clinton Foundation.” He emphasized that multiple United States agencies, as well as the Canadian government, had signed off on the deal and that, in general, such matters were handled at a level below the secretary. “To suggest the State Department, under then-Secretary Clinton, exerted undue influence in the U.S. government’s review of the sale of Uranium One is utterly baseless,” he added.
American political campaigns are barred from accepting foreign donations. But foreigners may give to foundations in the United States. In the days since Mrs. Clinton announced her candidacy for president, the Clinton Foundation has announced changes meant to quell longstanding concerns about potential conflicts of interest in such donations; it has limited donations from foreign governments, with many, like Russia’s, barred from giving to all but its health care initiatives. That policy stops short of a more stringent agreement between Mrs. Clinton and the Obama administration that was in effect while she was secretary of state.
Either way, the Uranium One deal highlights the limits of such prohibitions. The foundation will continue to accept contributions from foreign sources whose interests, like Uranium One’s, may overlap with those of foreign governments, some of which may be at odds with the United States.
The Canadian mining financier Frank Giustra orchestrated his first big uranium deal, with Mr. Clinton at his side. Mr. Giustra donated $31.3 million to Mr. Clinton’s foundation.

ill and Hillary Clinton's charitable foundation reportedly received as much as $81million from clients with accounts with at HSBC's Swiss bank in Geneva.

Details of 30,000 accounts have come to light after an enormous banking leak - which brought with it the names of seven donors to the charitable Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation.

The Clinton Foundation has been source of headaches for the power couple for years, with Republicans accusing Hillary Clinton of engaging in “pay to play,” alleging that she sold access and favors to foreign donors while at the helm of the State Department between 2009 and 2013. Critics have pointed to the US approval of weapons deals to Middle Eastern countries following their donations to the foundation.
On Tuesday, an editorial in the Boston Globe called for shutting down the foundation, because it represented a “political – and actual – distraction” to Clinton’s campaign.
“If the foundation’s donors are truly motivated by altruism, and not by the lure of access to the Clintons, then surely they can find other ways to support the foundation’s goals,” the paper argued. “Even if they’ve done nothing illegal, the foundation will always look too much like a conflict of interest for comfort.”
