Technically speaking, Billy's dialogue with the evil Sheriff

Mr. Posner: You really think those Green Beret Karate tricks are gonna help you against all these boys?
Billy Jack: Well, it doesn't look to me like I really have any choice now, does it?

Mr. Posner: [laughing] That's right, you don't.

Billy Jack: You know what I think I'm gonna do then? Just for the hell of it?

Mr. Posner: Tell me.

Billy Jack: I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face...

[points to Posner's right cheek]

Billy Jack: ...and you wanna know something? There's not a damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it.

Mr. Posner: Really?

Billy Jack: Really.

Would you date a felon or a fell-off?

"I don't want to be desired b/c of a reputation"

>>agreed. When we are all kids and don't really know ourselves, we fall back on being known for our rep or the group we hang out with. As we mature and get to know ourselves, we want to be wanted for who we are, not so much what we are. the people who want us for our reputation, don't really want us....they want our reputation, our coat tails to ride on. that goes all the way back to that 50s song, my boyfriend's back and you're gonna be in trouble. that's the girl who doesn't solve her own skit.

the more people scared off by us, the smaller the pool of recipients we can fish from. as long as a person's comfortable with that, good. We all should be with the people we are comfortable with.

Fear is great, when you are afraid to be attacked. Long time ago, I had to deal w/ a 300lb punk who admitted he put everyone into two catagories--friend or food. so I made sure to be the third category, "unknown". He left me alone a couple of times when he could have messed around with me...b/c he just wasn't certain what I could or would do. I wasn't being a bad ass, I just got inside his head.

another problem with fear is, people won't tell you the truth, they'll tell you what makes you go away. That's why the line from the Godfather, "keep your enemies closer" works so well. People who are comfortable around you, tell you what you need to know.

but everyone's milage varies. Whatever works for you, works for you.

Would you date a felon or someone on probation?

Speaking of the “bad boy” image and attracting women therewith, Saturday evening I saw the theatrical production of Footloose with my Meetup group. One of the lines that caused me to LOL:

He rides a motorcycle, ______, _____, and he just got thrown out of the trailer park!

Yeah, that’s the ticket! Buy a motorcycle, and then get myself thrown out of a trailer park, that should REALLY make me more attractive to women.

Which reminds me of a conversation I had with one of my friends. We had just arrived for a party at a woman’s home, and my friend and I were gawking like a couple of rubes at the mansion we found ourselves in.

Friend: Wow, I don’t think these people would be impressed by my trailer house.

Me: I told you to buy the double wide!

Friend: Yeah, yeah I know…

Yup... triple wides exist lol
The Cadillac of trailers for your sophisticated redneck. Comes with optional meth lab or moonshine still lol

I used to qualify people who wanted to refinance their mortgages, and it had to be a double wide on a concrete base as the minimum we would accept. Triple wides on concrete bases definitely qualified.
The high end of the low end.
The rich of the poor.
The top of the bottom.
Ans therein lies the crux.
Theres a lot of poor people out there. As such? Theres a lot of people out there who have had run ins with the law, but that doesnt make them bad people. Sometimes shit happens, esp if you grew up in a place like a trailer park or ghetto. Im not saying those environments make an excuse to break law, Im just saying its more likely that one might wind up in jail or on probation from just being IN a higher crime rate environ.

I'll tell ya somethong, especially the OP: you cannot judge a book by its cover...or previous editions.
I just found out tonite another friend is dead. The wife of the HA prez here is one of my best friends and told me. Our friend that died? Lived in a gated community growing up. (I almost got arrested with my cousin -that uncle, his dad, is now retired from the local p.d.). Both my friend who told me and the friend who died... had a kid with a guy I know... but have never been friends with. Hes a fu©king criminal to the max. My family and I would buy her a months groceries, diapers and baby formula, and find her bruised up all the time. She told me that ex just got out of jail...again. Her man is the prez of a biker gang ffs and hahahaha is totally legit. He works a great job making great cash, has an awesome crib and takes care of his kids and hers where they are at want for NOTHING. The girl who passed..her sister was married to a dred and big drug dealer who died from a shotgun blast to the chest. They had five kids. She came from a wealthy family and was in J.A. om vacay when her sister passed. Some of her five kids are growing up as quite accomplished athletes. Some...have also has brush ins with the law.
So many lives, so many variables, so many... inconsistencies. Really... how is a woman to know, to know shes going to be safe?
You really have to deal with each person individually, but I must say yes... be alerted, and be veey cautious when you come across someone youre feeling good about and find they have a criminal past. If they are currently on probation? Thats too recent a past. For the most part. Again...depends on what happened.

So, if youre a woman interested in a guy with a record... probe him. Be cautious, but dont rule him out til ya know whats really up.
Otherwise?
Man oh man.. I dont know how you women do it!
On that note? A lil humor! Enjoy!

^^I don't understand why you keep going on about women who might not consider dating someone who has a criminal record. Everybody has the right to choose who they want to date, and you can't tell people who they choose and what their deal breakers are is wrong. Short, fat guys complain about women who are after tall, athletic guys, and won't consider them. Screaming from the rooftops that it's wrong won't change a thing. There are women who are after "professionals"-a highly educated guy who has a high income. Telling them they are wrong to not consider other guys won't mean or change anything. If a woman chooses not to date someone with a criminal record, so be it. You can't change society by telling people their choices are wrong.

Interesting, there was a guy that use to come to these forums who use to do the same thing who was also from Ontario.

Maybe you know him, his name was Glenn Whitter and he was / is a con artist who I think might still be wanted by Canadian authorities.

He fleeced one of the forum regulars.
Then came back with another name to try again.
Haven't seen him in forever...I don't think.

I can't seriously believe his doppelganger is still
posting, frankly....not that I can see him. He's just
a blank space on my screen.

Would you date a felon or a fell-over
Posted: 4/11/2017 3:08:07 PM
yeah, out here we have mill cities that have been dead since the last WW2 contract ran out. Young couples heard that for the cost of rent in the cities on the ocean, they could move inland and get an old house outside these cities and pay the same amount for mortgage. Of course, they didn't find out that the mortgage is cheap on a stately, drafty old house b/c the job situation sucks--the convenience store/gas station only has so many part times open.

there's a lot of preying upon the working poor trying to break into the middle class. Rent to own appliance stores, "buy here pay here" car dealerships, payday loans, etc. Movies love a character in this situation, just trying to break even and willing to try something desperate. Like a brother told me after Whitney Huston died, "you can get a girl out of the city but you can't get the city out of the girl". Recovering addicts are warned, stay away from the social circles that got you into the trouble. We have college basketball stars who get into legal trouble when they go home for the summer to their old neighborhoods.

Those who have choices...tend to stick to the better odds. Women who want to date men to ride on their reputations, tend not to be very loyal nor the most fun dates after a while. Guys with those reps, tend to get sick of those girls and want to trade up. I get why. "Prep school Pam" and "Jenny from the block" may seem to be the same, but....people try to "leave the life" for a reason. is there a diff between the white collar husband who dies of a heart attack on the job and the guy who takes two in the back of the head for reasons only his friends know? Dead is dead, right? or not right?

it all goes back to, the successful fisherman goes where the fish are. If you want tuna, don't go to the stream. Know what you are, and who you are, and date people who are looking for that. When we're younger, we're casting our nets wide, we want to be appreciated by everyone. when we age and mature, we figure out who we are and narrow down our search.

I think the RCMP might have something to say about that and a few former POF people who he scammed.

Either way, are you currently on probation for anything? (do not forget that I may already know the answer so be honest, or go to your old stand-by and deflect)

Well sorry I have no idea who or what youre talking about, especially since it has shit to do with the topic. I listed some names off the RCMP website when I asked you if you knew them... its pretty clear the Mounties want those guys. For all I know youre just talking deflecting make believe shit and a guy who doesnt exist for all I know..or care.

More unnecessary ad hominem shit.
If you already know the answer, why ask? In fact if you DID know the answer, you wouldnt ask because youd know the answer is NO.
Why dont you go ask my ex?
And here you are.. still cant even figure who my sister is. So how you gonna figger out something that actually DOESNT exist?
Now, do you have a record or beating up women? Diddling children?
I bet you ya do, and were diddled as a child yourself.

er, it was easy to find your sister.. not sure that was a good idea but..
Back on topic - it was a good Q so I asked some friends, men way faster to say yes than the women I asked.
I'd like to think it would depend on the crime but no already have enough drama in my Life without inviting more in

I woulda inboxed you who she was because I had trusted you at one point.
But hey you are already breaking your own rules so.....

If you find any pics Im aure youll see the resemblance, and if you see her maiden name and use it as I said, youll also find out who my dad is. As I said to SOMEONE ELSE... I dont come from trailer park trash people like he does.

Well... I guees you too now know I wasnt a bullshit liar like LOLTrumps been saying.

And Ive said nothing 'revealing' or to compromise anyone.., and if she catches wind that people are ****ing with me.., she wont side with them.
I generally say...dont fu©k with people im high places...or their families, especiallly personally.

Any fu©king around Ive done with you thats felt personalSorry. Its funny how you talk shit about having no respwct for people who dont apologize in public after insulting you in public.
You obviously missed the open apology I made before.

Oh well.

Lets make a deal?
Ignore me as you said you were going to. I can easily ignore you, esp if you ignore my comments and dont respond to them.

Men say yes way faster is a good one and one Id normally both agree with and want to discuss why... but...
meh.
I see some fresh paint. Im going to go watch it dry.
More fum than this.

Nope I would not,
I don't have a criminal past and have never been arrested
I would expect the same from my potential date.

Though a while ago I did date/have a relationship with a felon, found out quite a few months into the relationship.
Very intelligent, had his own business...... He was a knob though😁
