Squareslice- yes this play, pie and pint was in Edinburgh though , at the Traverse Theatre just off Lothian Road. It was hilarious....and the Haggis Pie was the best :-)
Isn't square slice also called Lorne Sausage? You could have a new name :-)

Meat and Potato from the Poundbakery.

If they don't have any, which is usual, Mince Beef and Onion.

Also quite partial to a Sausage Roll, now and then. 4 for a £1 in these parts!

Sorry pauline but seeing is not enough. As a a pie connoisseur, I must insist that one has to taste and feel the texture of a pie in his mouth in order to pass an informed judgement. No way round that really.

For me, it has to be chicken and mushroom. With lots of gravy. Mm.

I like chicken and mushroom together, don't know why. Risotto, sandwich, wrap, soup, pizza. Etc.

Key Lime pie is my absolute favourite........although it really looks more like a cheesecake than a pie.

Cottage Pie, snake & pygmy pie, or any kind of fruit crumble or fruit pie.....blueberry, rhubarb, apple etc etc

Bognor Regis.......I remember a very windy 3 days on the pier there. Never took my coat off the whole time and managed to get a sunburned nose.
And sweetcorn and sweet potato pie.

Cottage pie is made with beef so yes, cows. :)
