^ ^ ^ ^ ^ I'm not tellin' where I was!

Inicia, I'm not Boo, but maybe I'll do.
To the best of my knowledge, there are no longer "bans". To be "banned", for days weeks, years, was enacted on, by a Moderator when a user either failed to follow the posted Forum rules................OR when the Mod, just simply grew tired of you, / did not like you or your "team".
Since the Mods are no longer active, anyone can report anyone, for anything and if the complaint is viewed by a POF staffer,(once in a blue moon) your entire profile is nuked. POOOOF, gone! You have to jump thru hoops, (so I'm told), acquire a new IP address, and maybe you can regain access to the Forums.....................unless of course you are one of the few who have a gazillion new IP addresses, new profiles, .............ready / set / go /anytime you damn well feel like it.................when you have been nuked repeatedly.
Oh the joys of POF! LOL Did I answer your question?

Maybe Ouija is doing a self-imposed absence, because who and why would someone ever report her? From what everyone is saying, I thought you can't report anyone anymore? The way I see it is, if someone is vile then so be it, why not let them post anyway? That's the way they are and their personality for what they want to put out there, but I guess at times it can be a little too much to see that kind of ugliness most times for no reason.

About sex on the first date, it's only a problem if someone makes it a problem, the giver or the receiver. If the male receiver wants to consider a woman a whore for having sex on the first date with him, he pretty much has a bad opinion of women anyway. The woman has a problem with it, it's because she was dumped after that first date or two and then it's something she should come to possibly expect by having first date sex without knowing her date well enough. My thoughts would be, if you were going to have first date sex, don't think of it as being anything more than just that. The guy doesn't owe you anything for having sex with him on a first date.

How interesting. You've already said you won't date a guy who is cheap, he has to pay for a 'real date'. And you repay him by cooking dinner (and not with cheap food) at your home. In other words, he has to pay for a date BEFORE you'll even cook him dinner.

But now you're ok with 'paying' him with sex without him paying for a 'real date'?

Can't wait to hear how you explain this one.

Cynthia, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I don't have sex on a first date. What I said applies to others that do with regard to women that place some kind of importance on first date sex, like the guy owes them a 2nd date or the sex means something more than what it is.

Most likely the man would have spent a few dollars before I had him over for dinner, because I would not entertain a stranger in my house within the few first dates. Money could be gas money driving to someplace. So yeah, there's usually money spent. Btw, a young mother of 3 small girls was dismembered by a guy that was on pof and other dating sites. She lived in my state. This was within the first few dates. He hacked her body up in her bathtub, and threw the body parts out around town. They identified her by finding her head. That's just one reason I would not seclude myself with someone in the beginning few dates, but if some women feel comfortable with that, or wanted to do that, that's up to them.

I am perversely pleased that his profile is still up though. Or I guess her profile, since this is clearly set up by an ex or soon to be ex.

Lady and Bcc and all who responded- it is just one forum topic_ i have no clue as to the snafu- it is not a bigee just was an interesting topic and had been participating, at least i have not gone poof.
Ouija got nuked
ohhh.. i liked her contributions hope she returns soon.
I am with that
no one owes anything
in sex exchanges- pleasure for both parties- neither is giving or receiving something, other than sharing "my personal fave" bodily fluids- therefore if you participate in sex, for any other reason- probably time for a self examination, or your interest or choices of sex partners- and the agendas attached by each.
i personally believe more intimacy provides a better experience for me at this juncture in my life. yet i do still entertain a fleeting desire for "zipperless" exchanges lol.

Obviously, I can't say anything about LH one way or the other without having met her and certainly can't condemn her based on what the men say. Also, take into account how being assertive and standing up for one's self can be seen like a negative thing in a woman. I'm just putting that out there. Think about if she was a man and saying the same things for whatever she said. Would you still feel the same way? I think that would be the deciding factor.

Being assertive is NOT the same thing as making fun of people because they don't match your requirements or standards. If a man was constantly talking about his bad dates, I think many people would tell him to stop complaining and screen his dates better. Just like many people will tell a man to stop complaining and improve his profile and pictures when a man constantly talks about not getting replies to his emails.

Falcy was standing at full attention...now he's gone. Gonna miss the little guy...

In order to maintain the highest quality forums (you call this quality?)you are restricted to having no more then 2 of the last 10 posts on a thread.

Since 2 of the last 10 posts are yours you can not post to this thread...but a naked midget can?

Oh, boy. I missed this the first time around.

Numerous women here have stated the same things about her. Did you not see them or are you simply choosing to ignore them?

Here, let me tell you exactly how this scenario would have gone. This is easier to predict than humidity in Florida on an August day.

The women who think they own the f*cking place would have ganged up on him and claimed he was lying about 200+ horrible dates or they would have pulled some Dr. Phil-esque nuggets of wisdom out of their asses like "YOU are the common denominator!!!"

As far as sex on the first date, there is likely no "formula" how a successful relationship happens or doesn't happen.
This thread has totally convinced me there were some really "interesting banned posters" from years ago. :-)
Any more old school posters to search to see what they were all writing about?!?!?!?!

His posts were quite humorous in a subtle way.

And most important to me....he always heard the music. :)
