I’m struggling on thanks. Chaps lottery unwin has me feeling deflated
I’ve realised I really hate Mondays, it’s all in my head but there seems to be a pattern.
I was offered a new job this week (after interview). But does it beat being the head of a department that only you are working in lol

I was walking my girlfriend past a fish'n'chip shop a few years back when she said how good it smelt. I thought I'd treat her so walked her past again!

My hand healed a bit too well, stitches were sorta grown in,
But I’m able to use it quite well...thumbs up

I wanted to post this to bring this thread back to the front page as I know that young Hostess is going through a troubling time at the moment so kinda figured it might cheer her up.

I had a really nice time yesterday afternoon ( Thursday ) simply relaxing and enjoying a warm and sunny afternoon in my garden, it was sheer bliss and was good to be out soaking up the sun, I even took a pic and now have it as my profile picture.

Also whilst enjoying my mini summer I got an e mail inviting me for an interview Tuesday 10th of April at Optare ( Sherburn in Elmet ), they are one of the UK`s leading Bus manufacturer`s..

So yes for definite I do feel good!!!

Hostess - Keep ya chin up girl and keep smiling, don't let the buggars grind ya down..

The 6th of April, the start of the new fiscal year. The department's annual budget allocation, this is good, I'm going to get all my oustanding expenses.

Lovely message Bryan - thank you! Made me feel good!
I'm ok though. Don't worry about me. Made of strong stuff.
Hey though! Lots of parties coming up soon. I'll be out a lot having fun while neighbour from hell sits in her house looking through her sad window spying on me as she has nothing else to do. Quite sad really

I’m going to Spain for two weeks, and chin up folks the weather looks set to improve next Tuesday.
At least that’s here in Cov, the weather is awful, fog today, we’ve hardly seen any sun.

I hope it’s much better elsewhere

I was out at 11:30pm, getting ready to drive past a dimly-lit large school parking lot on the way home and thought there could be a cop car hiding there, probably isn't, but I slowed down anyway. As I passed the parking lot, there it was. A police vehicle moved forward to where I could see it. No ticket for me, yah!!

Well I got a really nice surprise today in the post 13th of April 2018..my POF.com T Shirt arrived all the way from the HQ over in Vancouver. I asked about the chances of one for my events here in West Yorkshire and Natasha ( Event Moderator ) said she would try and get me one...

It looks really cool..I actually do feel good..

Well done Natasha. Shame they won't let us organise the events and moderate the forums here in the UK, it would have been so much more powerful and interesting if they had.

We need a photo Bryan

And I sneaked in a goal - an in-off from Wrighty!

My good news for the day is that we've just got another contract in. It has been a nerve wracking time for the last 5 months and I have seriously been contemplating closing the business I've created over the last 12 years (Thanks Tories). Anyway the two I have got in this week will keep my head above water, just, until end of July.

Wasn't a goal chap and you know it!!! and unless you have an edit ...you missed. I'm pleased you have another contract .
Although the tory bit is scapegoating . We have a global government we cant vote out. Hope you get more contracts.
I think we should all get t shirts. Roxy you're lovely pull yourself together...please...

On topic the economy is socialist and we know where that leads to...penury..sorry hostess ...I'm at Newlands corner looking out on the splendiferous view. With a cup of tea and a lovely cake.

I thought it might be fitting to use the new shirt as my profile picture..there was also a small written note in the envelope from Natasha which I thought was a nice touch.

People will think I`m ready for the bouncy wallpaper room for requesting this shirt but I`ve waited for about 5 or so years and it was actually Shannon the previous Event Mod who I put the request too, she has since been awarded a promotion to PR/Marketing in the office.

At least now no one will be able to say they didn't see or recognise the event host at my nights out :-)

Oh and I have also mentioned the possibilities of UK Event division vacancies too, not sure if that`ll see the light of day but hey who knows..

I used to love the meets, only went to two

Ah...lovely t shirt. We had them handed out to us at the Birmingham meet we went in about 2006. Naturally we customised them chopping them up so we could make off the shoulder numbers..

Just had a look but you can no longer open the file with the photos on....

What made me feel good today?... Well whilst driving to work through beautiful rural Hampshire, I spotted a couple who were probably 80 or more, walkin the street hand in hand and I though - how lovely some make it x

Sun in the sky, you know how I feel
Breeze driftin' on by, you know how I feel
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for me

I bought one of those time lapse cameras over winter, £10 on facebook. Completely forgot about it so have missed the start of spring but last night fitted it with new batteries and planted it in the garden. It will be interesting to see the results.
