Tatoos on a women turn on or turn off

I got my tattoos during my time in the military

Each one have special meaning and mark a time in my life that I am tremendously proud of.
(None of which I got while intoxicated.)
They all marked a specific accomplishment. Some of which were so difficult very few people ever in their lifetime ever achieve.

In addition, you know that if my grandchildren ever ask me about them or why I have them they are in for a good story.

If you get a tattoo for no reason or on a dare, because you were drunk or mad a your parents I feel a little sorry for you.

I see so many young people with “art” with no purpose

Finally Its your body, your choice
My body my choice, If your foolish enough to look down your nose at me
Because of the ink, I have. I do not want you anywhere near me
Because you are to shallow and narrow minded to be in my life.

I have no idea why a woman would want to stain their beautiful body with an ugly tattoo. Really it comes off as trashy, especially the ones in the small of their back aka subbed 'the mark of the slut'. I'm not saying if they have a tattoo then they are that way, but it gives off that first impression. I hate them.

Nothing beats plain skin. I've never seen a girl and went "damn if only she had a tat she'd be hot!" I'm not turned off by them unless they have so many they look like a reptile and/or have one on their forhead or somthing.

And here I put my second tattoo there so it would be inconspicuous.

That is a bad, bad, bad visual image considering you look the same and are about the same age as my mother.

My tats are body mods. So are my piercings. And the corsets I wear. Modifications to bring my body into the image I see when I close my eyes and think of ME. I'm becoming the person I want to be.

I find ink on a man sexy. I love discovering a man's artwork. Especially if it means something to them.
And I totally agree that people with tats understand commitment. Though they have become a fad recently, they still carry a stigma with them. Getting inked means giving up certain things, being looked at a certain way by some people.

Turn off! I haven't seen a woman that looks better with tats then she would have without. I especially can't stand the 'tramp stamp' lower-back tats that so many women have these days. Blah...what a turn-off if there ever was one.

Wow.. an another idiot born every day...

When calling somebody an idiot it helps if you don't type something stupid like 'an another idiot'...if you know what I mean. What the hell is 'an another?'

ok so i think everyone is entitled to their own opinions on this but i think that even if you don't like them or you would never get one yourself you shouldn't bash the people who do have them or the ones who would like to get one.

If you want to get a tattoo go get one. Who cares what other people think! I have 6 tattoos right now and I am definitly not ruling out the possibility of getting more!
I love my tattoos. Each one is something meaningful to me. They were all done by the same artist and are all tastefully done although not all of them are small.

I did not get my tattoos because it was the cool thing to do and actually started getting them before it became a "fad". In fact I as well as my parents got alot of flack for the first one. My parents bought it for me for my 12th birthday. It was something i had been asking for for a long time. Me and my mom got matching shooting stars on our ankles. I don't regret getting any of my tattoos because i love them all and i don't care if other people have problems with them.

I am not trash, I have a good, respectable job, as do both my parents and my brother who also have tattoos. And in response to the thing about giving off a bad first impression, Out of my 6 tats the only one that is immediately visiable is the lion cub on my chest which i am proud to show off but i don't go outta my way to do so. If i happen to be wearing a shirt that shows it off so be it. The rest of my tattoos would only be visible once you got me naked and by the time that happens you hopefully like me enough that the tats won't be a problem!

I think tats on men are incredibly sexy...but i won't discard the possibility of being with someone based on whether or not he has tattoos.

Theres alot of yay's and Nay's on this subject!
I personally love tattoo's on women, specially the ones with meaning, you can have great conversations just about what they are and what they mean, The bigger the better too! mmmm some of my fav's the 3 stars going from their collar bone to their breast's, a freind of mine also has 3 stars behind each ear, man that is sexy My bestfriend (which is infact a woman) and myself got tattoo's at the same time, I have the Haida Moon on my right calf and she has the Haida Sun on her right calf, believe you me my friend I have not herd a guy be like WTF! they are more like mmmm sexy.

WOMEN are sexy to begin with! but when they mod their bods mmmmmmm " BE ART... GET A TATTOO"

Just my opinion

why don't you boys grow the f*ck up?if you don't like woman with tattoos don't date them.I find most you little imature boys don't like women with tats cause you're not man enough to get one yourself or the only ones you have are one like "born to be a child" or "MAMA's boy"you know, the one you got so you could be cool or something.Let me give you a little history lesson, tattoos have been around long before the YUPPIES,movie stars,or wannabe macho men.I myself have had ink since long before it was accepted, when it was stil a sing of being a rebel against society.
Tattoos are a form of art.would you tell the artist of the monalisa her face is to big?
GROW UP,just because her tattoos are bigger that don't mean her D*ck is..maybe her testicles but not her d*ck...........
Besides if you can find a fat tattooed woman, you'll have shade in the summer, warmth in the winter, and moving pictures all year long.(quit judging the cover open the book and find out whats on the inside...

First off... who keeps digging up these 4 month old forum posts...

Anyway, my opinion is....

Tattoo's on a girl = Porn star
Yup, look at some porn. Almost all the women have tattoos.

Tattoo's on lower back = Trashy
Yuck. I really dislike tattoos on girls lower backs. It's so tacky and carbon-copy lame.

There are always exceptions, everyone is different, bla bla bla

@trvlingman, who cares what they will think by then im sure they will have some of there own or the piercings or some other new fad. as for how they will look in 30 yrs, they will look the same as the ones that alot of men have on their bodies. men age the same as us women.

I have three tattoos. Each one is meaningful to me and is strategically placed so that they are visible or not at my discretion. After reading this thread, I realize that I wouldn't really like the kind of men who are strongly opposed to tattoos anyway so I guess having mine is a good way of filtering them out of the dating pool for me.

For me a tatto with some meaning is ok, but thoes that get them just because they are in stlye now or because they are cute, does not work for me. For the record, i have no ink yet, will be getting one that is very special to me.

I have 11 tatts and I find most men, and women love them. Some of them are in very obvious places, horse head on my left upper arm about 4"x4", right arm flowers, shamrocks, ladybug (it's like a collage), left ankle the word freak with handcuffs, left boob pawprints, right boob devil heart, back of my neck my three sons names with a tribal bird and the newest one the word **** shoulder blade to shoulder blade in black, old english font (inside joke).

I also have my ears, nose, eyebrow and nipples pierced.

I live in a small town....have a very respectable job with Canada Post, own my own farm, drive a new car every two years (all tricked out of course).

I rarely.......extremely rarely get negative comments on my tatts. I have complete strangers walk up to me and ask about them.

I plan quite a few more as well. Im not even close to done. Next is a wrist bracelet with the word SURVIVOR in punjabi ( I survived cancer last year)

Other one is a big 3d wooden cross on the front of my thigh with the word Mom down the cross, two banners across it saying "forever loved" "forever missed".

Other one is a humming bird/bird of paradise morph drinking out of my flowers on my right arm, with the tail feathers coming all the way down to my elbow.

Water lily on my lower back with the tendrils going down on to my butt.

My nick name on my right hip which is getting done to night.....

To each his own I guess. I love em........ I just hate when a guy has full sleeves or people who get their legs all done. Tasteful tatts are nice, when you can actually see what they are, not just a whole sleeve.

Hey, drunk guy--I have several tats. I also have a Master's degree in British Literature and Creative Writing. Not only I can spell "inebriated" and "trailer," but I noticed that you have problems with subject and pronoun agreement. Know what I think when I see some semi-literate man trying to pass himself off as having class? He has aluminum poisoning from living in a trailer too long.

I like to have one, butterfly just above the middle of my chick butt lol. But I am scared of the needle pain, I have to be put to sleep first before one could do it to me. One or two is ok, I also like to have one on the back of my shoulder, it would be a rose.
