the only problem w/ a chestplate tat is, DON'T get upset at all the guys staring. Its just gonna happen. Were I a woman, I might get an airplane runway landing strip perspectively airbrushed on my chest, b /c that's my sense of humor :)

I suspect the "special guy" will be one who has the same mindset as someone who wears their tats proudly. If you don't like a marked woman, you may not respect the reason she has behind the tat, either.

I don't mind cute , classy little tats on a woman but on the girls ?

Sacrilege !

Maybe if it's of a little flower but an ugly angry demon or skeleton ?

Not sexy ! Not classy ! IMO

But, I wouldn't date the type of woman who would think this was a good idea

Nothing wrong with tattoos but I don't understand some people's drive to look like an ed hardy t-shirt.

Good point, here in Florida when I'm out at the beach or some swimming areas I see attractive women adorned with ink that cross their entire torso's, to angel wings on their backs. Whatever happened to those "cutesy" subtle, small tats on the ankles or a small one on the shoulder area? They could qualify for the carnival displays from back in the old days next to the bearded lady.

Male friend of mine and I were eating and I happened to see this woman in a really nice black dress with her boyfriend. She looked very elegant, she was coming my direction so I didn't see her tat on her back...then my friend saw that spaghetti string crossing over the top of it and it was a total turn off for him.

It ruins the moment of elegance when a woman is wearing a nice dress to see that.

as a woman who just got a fresh 1 done Thursday making it number 9 total..

I kinda don't like breast tats I wouldn't get 1 I like my boobs how they are an want them to stay un inked..

however the ive seen some very small cute tats above the breast like more so on the upper chest area..

I think the overly big cat paws an having a baby daddy or daddies name/names in huge block on your breast is a huge NO NO
it looks messy...

Good artwork is good artwork, regardless of canvas. But a bad tat makes me think, "the only rube I prefer to see on your b00b is me." :) Being into ratrods, I've seen some pretty models who had serious sleeves or vestwork, but also had some stylish clothing and jewelry to wear with it. Were I in their position, I might just have whoever's doing the photoshoot to Photoshop in something interesting on my figure...so I could change artwork from portfolio to portfolio.

Still, I'll take artwork over a nose piercing, lip piercing, eyebrow piercing, etc. I used to work w/ someone who has beautiful eyes, but last time I saw her, she had a piercing that just pulled your eye away from her amazing peepers. she also paid $75 to get the back of her tongue pierced "just to see what it was like." I told her I could have shown her for free what it was like to have a stud in her mouth. :P

I haven't seen a baby daddy listed on a breast yet, is that for the baby to read while eating breakfast? :)

Oh holy cow...is a tat on a woman's boob really such a big no-no? Not particularly liking something...that's one thing...but not being able to even tolerate something like a tat on a boob?

Me and her mesh together really well, she's awesome, and really likes me...but she's got a tat on her boob. Oh no, we just can't have that, now can we?

It doesn't make any sense. Why tattoo an area whose condition you cannot guarantee? Can you imagine what will happen to the tattoo if the boobs sag, get stretch marks, and all kinds of run of the mill life occurrences?

Some people think of the here and now and don't give it a second thought of what it will look like as we age.

belletressor, you're too young ;P to remember Silly Putty, but now you've put an image into my mind...

you are right about the people who don't think five seconds past the length of their nose into the future ahead of them. they don't even need to expose a breast to expose their thought-process. Still, I might not be dating someone long enough for the years to pass for their breasts to head south--I should have married 'em by that time, and then the tat would be the least of my problems :)

remember, breasts can change size and or shape rather dramatically over your life.

Seriously?....wtf...why did no one tell me this before now?? ;-)
I have ink...but not boob ink...I think boobs are pretty enough without drawing on them.

People generally like tattoos or they don't. For me, it was sort of in my upbringing, being taught that only low class people tattooed themselves, as evidenced by the lady and man in the circus sideshow covered with tattoos sitting alongside the freak show. I'm not saying that everyone who gets tattooed is a freak, but it's just something that will always be in the back of my mind, so for me, all that ink is just a complete turn off (and no, it doesn't matter how hot the girl is, even Megan Fox doesn't look very enticing after all those tattoos).

Art is art on any part of the body but a bad tattoo is just a bad tattoo wherever it is. I was approached by someone with a prominent Liverpool FC emblem on one boob and a picture of an imp with LEE written above it on the other. She admitted that it was an ex's name but then said that she could pretend that it was for her nephew instead.

Give me strength.

Agreed. A touch up after a few years is a good idea, cover up for bad art required... and someone's name is always a bad idea, unless its your child, and taste is a must.

I know what no one (particularly the young who can't wait to get the "chest piece") wants to think about this, but we all - hopefully - want to get older someday. And while I'm not a tattoo fan, after spending a week in Florida, I'm even less so. Even women in their early forties who had chest tattoos looked like they had saggy faded, undistinguishable blobs of ink that had been plopped on their chests. God it looked awful.

Perhaps what bothers some boys the most...is the reminder that some other dude's (potentially some male tattoo artist, which isn't always true) musta "been there before".
someone should do a tat like the old Mad Magazine back covers--you press together, you get a different picture.

I think a nice rose or a butterfly high up on the breast is fine so when they eventually head south, the tattoo will still be somewhere on the chest lol! If a guy objects to something so trivial, forget him.

I don't like most tattoos on men as they remind me of the rough bikers but that is a stereotype I realise that. Still don't like them. So be it.

I am not a fan of permanent tattoos on anyone, anywhere.
Or piercings.

Temporary tatts for special occasions or for a bit of fun are fine.
They wash off and I can change my mind.

I was thinking about having socks tattooed on my breasts. That way as I age they will be tube socks. Argyles maybe?

Nothing says ghetto trailer trash like a tat on the tit, I don't want to spend the rest of my life looking at that crap. Those huge leg and arm tats are another turn-off. As for a small tat in a discrete area, I don't have a problem with that.

A small tat on the breast or elsewhere on the body is fine. In general, I'm not attracted to women have huge tats all over their body.
