musicnut, Tucker was never on the Canadian Olympic Men's Hockey Team.... Google the team to see... But I assure you, he was never talented enough to even be considered.....

That only be because Toronto got Sundin.Watch what would happen if they lost him. Case in point,he's not re-signed yet because of yapping at refs constanly.GO TUCKER GO. I would be all for booting those damn yankees into thier own professional league.Heck might even get them olympic gold again. BRING IT ON.

??? Sundin is signed till the end of next year and Stunned Tucker is signed till 2011
Tucker is all emotion and can win a game with that alone but at the same time
that loose cannon approach has lost them more games than they've won
personally I hate yappy little guys who can't back up their mouths but if any team uses them more effectively than Toronto I haven't seen them

He was at the camp though,I do believe. You see out west we miss-out on back east going-ons sometimes. More focused on our own teams. Thanks for any clarifications. So looks like Toronto be going in the right direction. They be a lot like Anahiem or Dallas . Unfortunately ,the Buffalo's,New Jerseys,Rangers and Penquins be in thier way.

Fokk Tucker he's no friend of Dylan's
Modano would have been a superstar in Minnesota
My sleepers would have to be The Ducks in the west
and Devils {if they become overly offensive }and Thrashers
if their goalie stands on his head
lots of ifs in the east but I think that's where the cups gonna end up

You could be right about that. But it could be Toronto in the east or Vancouver out west too. Just remember what the Oilers almost pulled off last year. Never say never. Any team could suprise you. The Cup will probably come west if Buffalo?Pittsburgh get knicked-out early. Should be Colorado or Anahiem but a few teams might have a say in that, like Calgary or San Jose.

I think we all know where the League and the American would like the Cup to go. Case in point be what edmondton did last year. There be eight teams out west that could do that this year. Some teams should do well, others get lucky, some just suprise you. The statistic say one thing. Circumstances say other wise. GO ALL CANADIAN TEAMS GO.

We shall see what we shall see. Colorado a contender as long as they got Burnaby Joe,any canuck fan should concur with that. They no be as good with Forsberg but you just never know. They rank with San Jose,Nasville, Dallas , Minesotta,Vancouver and Detroit .Teams in the way of the Anahiems,Flames and the other western conference teams that should do better.

Colorado is too young to be a contender. They lack the consistent work ethic and experience. Give those youngsters a few years and they'll be amazing all around players.

True enough...but unlikely. There is an 8 point difference with 12 games remaining for both teams. In order for the Avs to knock out the Flames, they'd have to have 4 more wins than Calgary over this last stretch of games. It could happen, but I think as soon as Colorado narrows the gap to 2 points or 4 points, Calgary will wake up.

A bigt part of Calgary's road problem be Kipper's shoot-out record. 1. Canucks don't have that problem. 2.no shoot-outs in play-offs. Predators are a long-shot and no team with Who-sucks and bewhoozi deserves diddly. Any team with Joe Sakic be dangerous. GO CANUCKS GO. Some teams be thinking past the first round, that can be a mistake. Hope the CUP comes west, even if to Anahiem ,beware of San Jose,Dallas and Minnesotta.

Sutter behind the bench could make all the difference in the world
I have to stick to my home town in the east

The Flames Can't pull A N.J devils because Anahiem's already doing that. But you be correct as playing stylewise and recordwise they do match-up pretty well. That be the concern for the Flames next year before resigning IGGY and/or KIPPER. Why not another Sutter behind the bench? We Are Family. Burnaby Joe not in the play-offs? The sharks should make the play-offs but will never win the Cup. Just Stay out of Flames and Canucks way. Pronger and Niedemayer be in Anahiem for ONE reason. If they don't win the CUP,highly unlikely they stay there. But that be next year. GO CANUCKS GO.

Not very encouraging signs as the Flames head towards the playoffs, but then again, the Oilers looked like crap right up to the last minute in 2006 and look what they did.

CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. RED THINGS. Flames be more of a Play-off type team. Play-offs be a whole new ball game. Just look at some the scores tonight. Some teams are ready, some don't know yet, others don't seem to care.

I'm thinkin Rangers and Carolina for 7th and 8th
I don't think either Canadian teams can score more than they let in
and in the west Calgary is a different team in the playoffs so are Pronger and Neidermaier

Highly probable. Montreal montreal and Toronto and Ottawa.ya just never know. Part of the problem with the east being so tight might be whoever finds thier way to finals may be worn-out. Then again, migh be more prepared too. Calgary be a play-off type team ,Pronger might get the Cup he missed-out on last year and Neidemayer,I be biased on that topic.Vancouver be a longshot. Unfortunately The Stars,Red Wing and Sharks,Wild, Predators and Avalanche be in the way. Bring-on spring and the Play-Offs.

nut you gotta pick a team ,topic ,thought ,position ,point of view or opinion
I be seeing an unsure Nuck fan trying to cover all his bases
I don't think anyone's a long shot and probably won't ever be again

eg; last two cups T Bay and the Flames only Smack picked Calgary
then Carolina and the Oil no-one saw that one coming

so don't waffle be loud and choose with your heart
just keep a paper bag handy

A few of us pegged the Oil to go all the way or at least we saw that they had the potential to do so.

I do see the Rangers and possibly the Islanders holding down the last two positions in the East. Can't wait to see Carolina drop out of the race. Most of those teams seem to be lacking any consistency at such a crucial time of year and with such a tight race...hmmm.

True enough, bud. But most years, I would have told you that the Oil wouldn't have made it. I was convinced last year that they had everything they needed with the acquisition of Pronger, Peca and Roloson, so there was more to it than misguided loyalty. I was suprised they limped their way into the playoffs when they should have been one of the top teams in the division, but what they did in the playoffs was of no suprise to me or to many of the other teams in the race. I remember they polled a bunch of teams, including the Red Wings, about which team they wanted to face the least, and the general consensus was the Oilers. Go figure! They knew that given a chance, that team was poised to unleash some serious damage.

A lot of so-called experts be pickng A Canucks or Anahiem/New Jersey or Buffalo Final. I just think it might be too soon for that. I root for the Canadian Teams left or teams with players that played Junoir here. The Canucks be comparable to last years Oilers minus Pronger. Islanders have had thier turn at success. Rangers be Rangers . Carolina be in better shape than Edmondton but won't win it all again. Buffalo should do O.K,but win the CUP,chances the same as Ottawa's. Detroit's been there done that too. If you look at stats, you might say a Pittsburgh-Buffalo/ Anahiem-Detroit Final. My personal pick be A Canucks-Flames /Pittsburgh-Toronto Final. Never count out Tampa , Nerw Jersey,Dallas , or Colorado either. Anybody can win it,some should, others could, rest would like to.

Only if you consider Bob Makenzie an expert. Nobody with bewhoozi will win diddly. Get Hasek out o0f there and not call him whosucks no more. Too bad for stevie Y though,He deserves better. Ottawa has to there first, through ,Buffalo, New Jersey,Tampa,Possibly Toronto, Rangers and Carolina. Pittsburgh should get there but... maybe in a year or too. Just ask Calgary or Anahiem about getting there and going anywhere. San Jose before Minesotta. GO CANUCKS GO.
