Somebody please clean bewhozzi's clock. Flames,like Canucks need to think who they wish to meet in the first-round,if they make the play-offs. The Ducks be the Ducks and The Ave's got threats. Go away Sharks ,Predators and Wild. Dallas always be a concern too,remember they have won it all and got two guys(back actually) from Tampa in 2oo4. They don't really deserve to,but why not? Better than Detroit any day. Flames should beat them but...It would mean they be doing what Edmonton did last year. Anahiem might just do that too. Canucks,you just never know. Same with San Jose and Colorado. You and me go golfing in the snow. Nope...rather be shooting pucks any day.

Shows you who the real Hockey Fans are. Nice to just have a reason to cheer for the Canucks again. Hopefully they kick Nashville butt tonight. Hope Toronto kicks Sabre butt two times in a row too. Spring fever has arrived. Go any Canadian Teams GO,except Oilers(warm-up your putters). Looking forward to the play-offs. Bring the Cup back where it belongs,Free Trade.

OMG, rangers won again........ Don't look now, but they look playoff bound....... When you have the best goalie (Henrik Lundqvist) of the teams clawing for a playoff spot in the east, it sure helps..... Of course, there is still lots of time for them to break my heart..... Kinda used to that.......

There's alway Toronto,B-S-B. We got just as much reason to get excited as Calgary does ,remember we still be minus Kessler too. No results with more potential. Neither should go far,if they make the play-offs,but just look at what edmondton did LAST year. I would rather face any yank team and whoop thier asses. A lot of Vancouver fans believe that. The real test be the second round. The Final should be a gooder iregardless and produce the eventual CUP champions.

Nope...otahahaha's. Remember Canucks have been to the finals twice and look what it took to beat them. And gee...they Even got Linden again. Come on, musicnut. The Nucks are like a little beater that you drive around because it is cheap and reliable. It plugs away on the day to day mundane crap, but when you wanna pick up the girl of your dreams, that's when you realize its shortcomings.

I hear ya bud. It's like I'm sorta half watching games with little interest unless it is a real rivalry. Don't worry, once the playoffs start, I'll be rooting for a team that I somewhat like and rooting against all the teams I despise.

probably cause we're canadian? plus that there are 30 teams in the league, and 6 are canadian... that accoounts for 1/5 of the league.

1/5 odds is already hurtin enough for the cup to be won in the country it orginated. If the playoffs were to start today, our odds sit at 1/10 chance of winning.. i'd prefer the possible 1/6 odds we can get if Toronto and Montreal shape up and stop sitting in 9th and 10th.

Rangers keep rolling along..... 1 loss in their last 14 games.....In regulation I should say..... That was against the Sens almost 2 weeks ago......

Can't say enough about "The King" Henrik Lundqvist... By far, he's the rangers MVP this season... Even if he started slow, he's played awesome since January.....

Yup, watched the Rangers/Islanders tilt yesterday morning. Not as one sided as the last two meetings they had. I guess it was the worst case scenario for the other teams chasing the 8th spot in the east...you know, a three pointer.

Went to the Nucks/Avs game yesterday and was surprised by how many Avs fans were in attendance. Wonder if it was just my section? Man o man is Cowan popular! Especially after he rocked the guy in the first period and after his goal, the crowd were again chanting his name. I think the only time they chanted a name after that was when Henrik Sedin broke the all-time Canuck assist record. Sakic looked pretty dangerous out there when he had opportunities.

GO CANUCKS GO. Luongo be the best goalie in the circumstances under which he be competing. Broduer be good because his team be stingy.The Rangers and Flames be good all-around teams.Then There be the Mighty Ducks,Red Wings, Senators,Leafs and Avalanche. Everyone Else from goaltending -out lines up behind them.Should be an interesting week or so. BRING-ON The Play-Offs.

BINGO BANGO.LOUNGO. Does that worry you at all?Let's keep them there. Would increase chances of getting past 2nd round. Might be a very exciting dance too,with unfortunate invites as well. Sharks and Wild making pla-offs be O.K. as long as they get booted-out the first round. Ducks ands Stars be the real concern. Flames and/or Canucks Could beat them on momentum from first round. Predators and Wings be of no real concern . A Vancouver -Detroit matchup would be a complete joke. Put it in the funnies instead of sports. Oil do make noise:FORE. GO CANUCKS GO.

Have to make the play-offs before making first-round predictions. That would be one heck of a series for sure though. 1st and 2nd round separate pretenders from contenders. GO CANUCKS GO. How about charging duty on American teams crossing the border? Th0se Eastern Conference standing are nuts. Get a headache just looking at them. Imagine how the teams feel. Travel arrangements or tee times?

Yes smack, those predictions were made long before the injuries to key players and the Oilers refusal to add any players (everyone thought they would move at least one forward and some picks for a defenceman), while Calgary made the necessary changes after that point in time. I still believe if those players (Moreau since Oct, Stoll since early Feb, Hemsky for a month) were still in the lineup, the Oilers would have been in playoff contention and may have even kept Smyth for this year's run and probably would be bumping the Flames from that final spot. Sadly though, Lowe didn't respond or perhaps the deals just weren't there for an experienced D-man. However, my prediction about Calgary being at the bottom of the pack has remained true, eh? Don't forget your playoff predictions from last year were much worse...and that was at a point in the season when teams couldn't make any changes to improve or worsen their teams.
