Pronger must have some nasty photos of Colin Campbell with a weather girl or something

Or the weather man. Anyway, I was listening to Twat and Gaylord the other day and they were speculating on the reasons Pronger's suspension was less than expected. For one thing, Pronger is a superstar in this league, so he's not going to be treated the same way as a Chris Simon is. Secondly, they thought the fact that Burke was the ex-disciplinarian in the NHL probably helped his cause a lot.

Whatever the reason, I have seen 3 players now speak out that the suspension was to short.

I thought it was pretty funny the way Pronger painted it as though his team has been victimized by this suspension and that they will, once again, have to play through adversity. Oh brother!

Toskala thought he'd try the Jedi mind trick on the puck...it failed. The puck's mind was stronger. Anyway, that was so laughable that you almost feel sorry for Leaf nation right now. It's just indicative of the entire team, its management and their year.

Their year..? How about the last 40 years!

Changing the coach is not the solution here. The ownership is the problem with the Leafs.
Playoffs just around the corner the West is loaded and will produce the Cup champion this year.

Now we have to talk about the Oilers...?
Why don't we concentrate on playoff teams?

Going to see the Hamilton Bull Dogs and the Marlies tonight. Playoffs I believe. Hopefully they will put on as good a show as the Foo Fighters last night in London. Saturday night the Foo Fighters are in Toronto. Going to that one too.

Nice late comeback by Washington! Watched the game and just love watching Alex the Great play. Ovechkin with 2 goals and an assist. Backstrom with 2 goals roughly 30 seconds apart to come back from a 3-1 deficit with under 10 minutes left and win the game 5-3. I hope they make the playoffs because they'll be a fun team to watch.

edit: Oh yeah, the Big O became the first player to score 60 goals since 95/96.

Find a post where I predicted Detroit to win?
Unlike most here I am realistic about the team I follow.

Detroit is a contender but till they find a Canadian leader (as I have said since I began posting here) I don't believe they will win.
Could this be the year a Euro leads to the Cup?

Nothing bugs me Sly i just see it as amusing.
The Spits are an inexperienced group and really geared to next year. They still need a goalie though. Stamkos is lighting it up. Its a shame he will most likely end up in L.A..

That was a terrible singing of the Anthems at the Edmonton game.
Not much of a fight but two class guys taking off the buckets and stopping immediately when one went down.

Thats all it takes Passion. That and some surrounding talent.
Look at history. Only once hasn't that been the recipe.

You don't just give the "C" it has to be earned and it isn't just the player that wears the C.
Its the heart and soul guy.
The one player who is the face of the team.
He must be a Canadian to win!

4-4
Time for a time out McToolish!
I thought a 2 goal lead was the most dangerous Jim Huson?

Wow it worked! I should be coaching the Oilers. 5-4
