^ Didn't see the Tootoo incident, but I just checked the game stats and he only got 2 minutes for roughing (so did Stuart). If he did crash a stick over Stuart's head, how come he didn't get a major and a game misconduct?

Well, just watching a bit of the Montreal-Boston game on the internet.

Price seems to be doing an outstanding job, especially so considering his youth.

I was watching a game the other day and they were talking about the type of hitter that Tootoo is. They said that there are 3 types of hitters: good hitters, timely hitters, and dangerous hitters. Tootoo, they said, is a dangerous hitter. No surprise there.

Good signinings for the Oil. I was a little concerned about the amount for Gilbert, but if the upside pans out, then it was a good signing. I agree about Pitts...he may be gone.

edit: Anaheim is ducked! I can't believe that the Stars have scored 6 unaswered goals against them so far over the last two games. Yikes! LOL @ Pronger knocking the puck away when Giguere was just about to cover it up, resulting in a Stars player recovering the puck and scoring.

It is interesting to see the Ducks players just standing around on many of the Stars goals. I think the only one playing with any determination is Teemu. And the cancer, Bertuzzi, taking one dumb penalty after another...lol

Wow the Sea of Red is Blood.
Phaneuf is - 3 already.

No Norris in his immediate future.

great arguement that this season he should have won the norris.

1. The Norris has not been awarded yet.
2. Have you seen Lidstrom play or examined his stats?

Lidstrom is by far the best defense man in the league.

Did anyone catch Coaches Corner today? Cherry describing a player's love for his stick was dangerously close to describing masturbation. Creepy. You could hear Ron Maclean snickering and then tell Cherry, "let's not too far now".

Phanuefs goal was nice but not even in the top five.

The Norris Trophy will go to Lidstrom in a landslide.

Wow...I almost forgot how beautiful a goal Nash scored...simply, WoW!! The Campbell and Kovalev goals were pretty much identical in that they created something out of nothing by doing a spin-o-rama. The Ducks goal was an amazing feat of passing between the three forwards - nice behind-the-back pass by that moron, Bertuzzi. I dunno... I'm confused as to where I'd rank Phaneuf's goal in there because of the stiff competition.

Smackem your boys are losing so you go on the attack. What up wi dat?

He didn't deke around 5 players the Red Sea parted on that one look again.
You are the one who gets defensive I am quite honest about the Wings.
Toews and Nash actually deked around players.
Phaneuf's is impressive just not the best.

Smackem you are losing it.

you could give a great arguement that this season he should have won the norris.

Ist the Norris has not been awarded yet so how do you know he didn't win it.
Secondly you clearly state he should win "have won it" showing your lack of knowledge of the game.

Lidstrom is on a completely different level as a defender and that is why he will again.

It is your attempts at insults that make me chuckle.

just wait till he is in his prime! really looking at dions stats this season you could give a great arguement that this season he should have won the norris.

Sounds pretty clear to me. You are pissed that he did not win the Norris this season. And yet no one has won the award yet. Unless you have inside knowledge.

If I were starting a team from scratch today I would select Phaneuf over Lidstrom due to age. However, career wise I doubt Phaneuf will match Lidstrom. Not many will . On any list he will rank in the top 5 all time. It has nothing to do with him playing for Detroit it is simply a fact. As I was typing this Harry Neale just praised Lidstrom's career. Smack is the only one who thinks otherwise. Is taht a surprise ... no because Lidstrom does not wear a Flame on his chest.

Easy smack I am sure Calgary will still have a hockey team next year. Although unfortunately they are due to miss the playoffs again.
They are like going to Catholic Mass .. Up Down Up Down.

I have them

Orr
Harvey
Bourque
Robinson
Lidstrom
Park
Potvin
Coffey
Chelios
Macinnis

Its way to early for Phaneuf. Someday maybe. But I can't rate a guy top ten this early in his career who was a flop in his previous post.season.

How could the Flames possibly lose with the best defenseman ever to play in the history of the NHL on their bench?

Bruce Driver... He is soooo old I played against him. Even worse I played against Chelios.

How about Craig Ramsey or most underrated.
