Hockey anyone?Page 71 of 310    (57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97)
That's frikkin hilarious.
But get over it Marty. everyone has a job to do. Avery's was to get into Marty's head. By him refusing to shake Avery's hand just tells me that avery did his job perfectly.

That he did, my friend. Avery made the future hall-of-famer look a little foolish. I checked the stats on all the players after game 3 and was quite suprised when I realized that Avery was shooting at a stellar 50%. He had potted 3 goals on 6 shots in his first three games. Very effective, indeed!

What a nutty third period in Boston! Wow! Starting to wonder if Boston can complete the comeback. They just might do it. Anyway, nice to see the Bruins fans so passionate about their team and this game. It was rockin' and rollin' throughout the third.

I have to agree about Boston.

After watching that game go back and forth, you've really got to hand it to the Bruins for not giving up - not that they have a choice.

Some good hockey, and it seemed like a pretty clean game.

I could get used to watching hockey at this level.....

Sean Avery has done his job well since the rangers traded for him last year... I read this week the rangers are 30 games over .500 since the trade and 9-13 with him out of the lineup...

I think Marty just proved his lack of class refusing to shake Avery's hand last night.....
Brodeur aka fatso, just didn't like being shown up by the likes of Avery....

I don't blame Brodeur for not shaking his hand in that situation. Sean Avery was a complete a-hole. That being said I loved the guy. I remember when the Red Wings traded him and thinking they let a unique player go. If I remember correctly Scotty said so also at the time.

What did you expect from a fatso?

As one of the best Goaltenders in the history of the game, that fatso has earned the right not to shake hands with anyone he wants to.
The handshaking thing is blown way out of proportion.

"You don't "earn" poor sportsmanship. You're either a poor sport or you're not." I totally agree with this statement. Avery is poor sport, but when Brodeur didn't shake hands after the game he was being as bad as Avery in terms of sportsmanship.

What a poor sport he didn't shake one players hand.

The league should step in and suspend him.
How about 10 games?
Perhaps he should be barred from the HOF.

Get over it guys he ain't the first and he won't be the last.

Unbelievable... Arnott goes goes down and misses 2 games due to a concussion suffered after a goal celebration.
Wings moving on.

Well, the Habs really suprised me. Good game from Montreal and great goaltending! It sucks that I had to choose to watch that game over the Caps game. Really wanted to watch that game as well. Sounds like it would have been pretty entertaining with the comeback and all and with AO potting two.

Did they riot in the churches?

Phaneuf, Chara and Lidstrom(#6) are up for the Norris.

I know it is probably me but I just don't get the fascination with Chara. Yes he is big and intimidating but to me he turns the puck over far to much in his end. I have noticed this since his days in Ottawa. I don't get Chara?

But I am surprised he is a finalist. I thought Gonchar, with his 65 points, would be a shoe-in. Seems the NHL is actually paying attention to more than just points for the Norris for a change lol

I don't believe Lidstrom led all defensemen in points last year.

Phaneuf could play on my team also I just wonder how long he can keep up the big hits without starting to breakdown. Lindros is a perfect example of a player who broke down from it. Although I think Phaneuf is a stronger skater all that hitting eventually catches up with you.

Roenick takes over the game. Flames in serious trouble. Looks like Keenan will continues his First round flop streak.

5-2

Wow Detroit vs Colorado.
It's heating up now!

Some one check on Smackem. Unlike Sutter I don't trust him alone right now.

Hello Smack...Smack...... yoohoo Smack. Stay away from that ledge.

Calgary loses in the first round again... They are just not a good playoff team!
Rumor has it Sutter is out and Scotty Bowman is in, in Calgary to get them past the 1st round.

Poor smack, he'll be ok. Looks like Ladybugg and her jinxing saved the day. Good work, bug! Now I can finally take a deep breath and relax. On a positive note, should be able to get a great deal on Flames jerseys at the clearance section of Walmart.

hopfully the flames can shed some dead weight this offseason.

I'd say you'd have to definitely shed Juice and a few of the slower players. Calgary D is big, but noticeably slow against speedy forwards.

Yup, the comparison between him and Hemsky was very fitting. Sometimes you can attempt to be so creative that you playmake yourself out of an opportunity.
