Mine is a nickname I gave a buddy in grade 8. I also used to use it on my yahoo account back in the day when yahoo chat was all the craze :)...

I pulled eight letters out of a bag of Scrabble tiles and this is what I came up with. Seriously.

I took a similar tack. I poured out a box of Alphabet Cereal on the table, put a fan on one of its chairs, turned it on and started thumping cereal pieces into the blades. The first 12 letters that came back and hit me in the face, I put aside. I then put everything else away and left home, putting the 12 pieces in my pocket. Then I got in my car and sought out some tornado hunters. Once hooked up with them, I was allowed to put the cereal pieces in one of their instruments that dispersed sensors once inside a tornado (like in Twister, the movie, not the game, no, no). So, finally we get the thing sucked up by a type F3 and the sensors and cereal go flying all over the place. Well, then I told the tornado hunter scientist type dudes that I'd pay for the next tank of gas if they were to find all my cereal bits. As they searched, I ate all of the sandwiches from their cooler and drank their beer (those guys are lushes, let me tell you - they really didn't need to drink and confront tornadoes anyway, right? not a good policy, imo). So, the order in which they returned the cereal pieces to me determined my name, Guy Caballero. I added the "Mr." for respect--a vanity move, I admit, but it sounds impressive, right? Mr....

My moniker also comes from the movies. In the 80's, I had the big 10' dish and was exposed to diverse programming. In this case, I found the B&W samurai movies of director Akira Kurosawa on Bravo deep and interesting. Rashomon, The Seven Samurai...and Yojimbo.
And for those who neither know nor care, "Yo, Jimbo" will still work as an interpretation. And yo mon back to ye.

Wry=bitterly or disdainfully ironic or amusing: a wry remark.

My 4 internet handles are part of a cryptic message that reveals a secret identity which is not me.
In fact I am the exact opposite of that identity. I hate it with a passion too.
I'm mocking it. I hope I make it angry.

^ I've always wondered about your name.
Is it that you give incredible toasts at parties?
Or do you bless bread with divinity!

A little of column A a little of column B

My screen names have always been attention grabbers :) and they are a bit of a doorway into my life and the entire randomness of it.

My real name is always taken, in fact every cute or fun name I've ever come up with is always taken. Dayna is a spelling I like, a former co-workers daughter spelled her name that way, and daze, it just kind of fits. I've used it on a few sites and it always seems to go through. I use to use various forms of psycho something, as one of my majors in college was psychology, and no one seems to want to use psycho but I got tired of all the whiny witches who have to make some juvenile comment about me being psycho because I won't validate their psychosis. I like a name you don't have to re-enter a 100 times trying to find one that isn't taken. So no, my name isn't Dayna.

I have changed my username a couple of times over the past 2+ years I've been on here. I started with my childhood nickname, then a combo of my real name and nickname. Now, It's a variation of my real name, Jamie.

The J looks kinda like a fish hook, so I figured J-me Baby (hook me, baby) was a good name and I have stuck with it!

Mine used to be "army mom" when my son was serving in Iraq. When he returned safely home, I was almost going to change it to "punkin's mom" to acknowledge that my daughter is equally as important to me as my son is, but then changed my mind. My children both know how much I love them already, so I decided it was time to stop identifying myself through them on this site. After that, I realized that I had become just "some woman" and it suits me just fine, especially since I have no need for a catchy name here.
