To Fox and all the volunteer matchmakers... You have done an AWESOME Job organizing this and from this first "pond" may many more come. Thank you so much (really though, I am sucking up for a quality "date" )
Hopefully there will be much success in finding happiness to the fishies in our little BC pond (especially me)

Maybe the mainland guys should take a trip to the Island?

Hey, I just might be up for that fox.

Fox, you just gave me an idea of a new version to Don Henley song of eastern boys and western girls.

Let's rename it to, Mainland Boys, and Island Girls.

Hey ALL:

I know that I had made a similar post to this, however, WE, are beating the living crap out of the Manitoba Forums for the same POF Vote A Date Pond.

They are at 44, and we are at 204, but given that they are only 700,000 people in Winnipeg, and about 2.5 million here in the Lower Mainland, and even more, counting the rest of BC, guess it stands to reason, why we are winning the numbers game.

However, their OP, got the idea from US. However Fox, guess if it were not for BC, or even Alberta, they may run out of ideas in Manitoba, heh.

Ya, it sure seems that way, Pleaselise.

And Aug 10th is getting closer by the moment, of WHO, will be mached up with WHO.

Guess we will soon find out, and will be a lot of fun.

Just hope that them Island guys, step in, and help out, otherwise, we Mainland Boys will have to take over for them.

But then again?

manitba boys don't need date sites.......we drink like fishes and take home the last girl we remember...or maybe its vice versa

Hey taechee:

The city of Winnipeg alone, is about 700,000, if you want to add in Brandon, and others then ya, that will increase the population even more, but the bulk of fishies are in Winnipeg.

The city of Surrey, alone, of about 350,000 is about have the size in population of Winnipeg.

If you want to take all of BC, then your probably looking at about around 3 to 3.5 million.

Ahh good one, but you never know, sometines with some of those prairie people back there, and I come from there originally.

Have also been into the Manitoba Forums, and you never know what you are going to get out of there.

Seen some pretty weird stuff in there, tho.

WHOA, have I ever seen some pretty weird stuff in there.

Don't know where they ALL get it from, except some of their ideas come from either BC or Alberta.

lol I actually know one or 2 of those people that post in MB forums. ...and yeees they are straaaange.
A good friend of mine actually met her current boyfriend off of MB POF. If things keep up...I might have to fly down next summer and attend a wedding....She promised me i could be a bridesmaid...if she ever gets married. Be funny if she wasn't serious.....
Side note for you BC lions fans....Bombers starting QB is stil hurt and may not start and milt stegall has cracked ribs and won't play. Should be a free win thurs in da Peg for you. I stand corrected...Winnipegs population is like 704,000 and a a few more.
total population for Manitoba was aprox. at 1,174,645 give or take.

For some of the Island folks .... there is a POF get-together/Bday Party for Trevor16 being planned on Saturday August 12th @ Courtenay. Now wouldn't that be a perfect place & time to have a first date from the Pond
