Well....I've messaged pond control as well as my match. I've met someone and going on a date with another is probably not the best idea. I hope they can set him up with another and give an extension. Whoever gets matched with him will be a lucky woman, he seems like a good catch. Nice, witty, and cute too.

Yuppers.

We have picked out our venue, for our Official Date, it has lots of GREAT music, and it is next Friday evening.

It WILL be, a TON of FUN, under the early evening skies, in Ft. Langley.

The function is called Rockin On The River in Ft. Langley.

You may have to dig a little bit for the thread, but your digging will be well worth the effort.

Thank you again Pond Control, and ALL the helpers.

And for the new people just signing up, my match and I wish you all the very best of success and happyness, with YOUR match.

And to WTF, great idea gal, I mean, a really, REALLY GREAT idea, of starting the
Vote-A-Date Pond.

I wish you, and everyone continued success with it.

Sincerely
And
Best Wishes
From
GLBTH

P.S. My match will be back with a full report, of how well our Official Date went.

Well, it looks like I've been dumped. She can't make her date at all.

Thanks for your understanding! Now it looks like I am not going to be able to accomplish this at all by thursday.. seems I have been roped into other commitments I was unaware of until about an hour ago.. I am very sorry to have put you to all the bother..

Who knows, maybe I'll have better luck in round 2.

Well I went on my pond date we were to meet at a Starbucks in bby for coffee, not what I had in mind but was what my match wanted, so that's ok.
Well we were supposed to meet at 6pm and I arrived a little early and got a coffee and sat and waited till 7:30 and she must have got stuck in traffic and her phone probably died, I gave her my cell #, but hey I met a couple of really nice people from Jamaica and we talked about how it has changed since I was last there, so it wasn't a wasted evening. And so WTF if you want help with the next round I am willing to do that instead of signing up.
Let me know.

Missed the first one and I see there are people on here just looking for friends so I have signed up for the second round. Prefer a non-smoker though.

okay now WTF! is going on all the hard work matchers have done! jeez louise what is wrong some pple. It's all in fun and so what if the matches didn't work out. Jamming out on other fishies is ludicrous and bunch of bunk !
Standing each other up is pure chicken shyte and yes I am freaken opinionated so WHT!
Met my match @ an event as we had been email and IM but was not an 'official date".
Am I still eligible for round 2 although I did get and extension and will meet my date one day late?
Still debating for round 2 but doing it more for interest sakes anyways and why the hell not unless someone catches me on their line and vice versa.

Well I am dissapointed...am I homely or something?? My "pond date" didn't even have the courtesy to open my reminder mail let alone meet me !! Better luck next time hopefully. Why bother to sign up if you're not even going to take part?

Anyhow, just wanted to thank those involved for taking time to arrange all this. I'll keep trying..

So today is the big day. Even though the first BC Vte-a-Date Pond was hugely popular I think it is a great idea to have a maximum sign-up number. Way to go WTF!

I'll give it a shot!

It's tough, trying to organize a date and time when schedules conflict against each others.
But Morgana and I will be getting together later today to feed some duckies at Burnaby Lake.
