^^^ The last poster before you with all the question marks shrunk the page. I just tested it myself and shrunk the page with a bunch of question marks. I erased it and we're back to normal.

Sex on a First Date - Does it Kill the value of a woman?

Casual only -no LTR-suggests emotional issues

I don't agree with that. She could, sure. But it can be a good thing -- she's just being honest. Many emotionally fine people are in a position where it wouldn't be ideal to go down LTR alley + they're not craving one like LTR-hunters are.

Women are just as programmed to have sex with men to procreate, it's how reproduction works.

I don't think so. Then a woman would lose her sex drive when she doesn't want to have (any or more) kids. I mean, women AND men are designed to want to have sex, for the sake of procreation, sure. I'm just saying the desire for sex isn't tied to a desire to have kids.

Actually, sex is as much about our human need for touch and intimacy as it is about our drive for procreation. Being touched (by someone we want to touch us) satisfies our emotional needs and makes us feel accepted and wanted.

We're social beings, so of course. At the same time, the desire to make babies isn't directly tied to the desire for sexual relations. Many many people do not have a drive to make babies, for a while or for the rest of their lives, yet, crave getting naughty with someone.

Sex on a First Date - Does it Kill the value of a woman?

That's where I am now. I do crave to get naughty with a guy, no need to mince words. My life is so stressful and tiring and I feel like I'm juggling so many plates in the air that it's nice sometimes to just take a quick break and ........

The adventure of it is fulfilling. Although, less so at times. I think maybe the days of it being fulfilling are numbered. I do want something more. I want an actual relationship with someone or at least exclusivity with someone. Because I am realizing that for me, sex is about feeling wanted and the guy I am currently with is also seeing other girls and it doesn't make a person feel special at all. Quite the opposite.

I was making a comment on what someone else posted, I certainly did not mean that any genders need for sex was based on wanting to reproduce.
