Phallic. It is all phallic.
we live in phallic shadow.

womb like, it is all womb like
we arrive from the shadow of the womb.

In between episodes of lust
Seize, then release.

Ahem, what glistens better
than phallic meeting the womb?

heavy package

and to give it a kiss was strictly forbode
would a lick be out of the question?
I glance at the bounty that nature bestowed
and the shadow cast by its reflection

Not sure I understand this but love the nimble wit of its composition.

Passion my dear friend is always understood best by participating parties isn't it? For me Briso's poem speaks to the beginning, when you haven't yet touched your lover but really, really want to. At least that is what I got from it but you know I've been on other sites reading and participating in some amazing poetry.

You two are some of my favorites here and a big hugg and kiss for all those who I haven't posted to Rose, D, all ov you have my love, know that please.

^^^thank you foxy one... You just keep getting better looking, you know?

Jer, it's a tongue in cheek poem about the phallus...about an erm, generous phallus....since I was writing in first, last I had to work within the parameters of the last line, and there was a naughty devil on my shoulder whispering...

Hope this is ok....I frequent this page for all the talent and intrigue
However, Brizo had to say thank you for your heavy package poem.It caused the urge to chortle. It was phenomenal. I remembered my days as a letter carrier and learning about "packages" from another female carrier. I had never thought....then I looked and blushed.

Nothing speaks louder than the silence just before the onrush of desire. Nothing.

Kudos my extraordinary man
to the minute you traced my nose
I really liked your fingers in my hair
I really liked that you did not speak.

Kudos to the second
the sun rose, you took that fateful moment
to inquire..."was I fine?" More than this pitiful sun
beginning to rise.

Each time that love is made physically
is just another time the fables, allegories, myths, fairy-tales
take a well deserved holiday. Make love not history.
Then history is truly made. How very supreme that one little sperm!
dances with an egg! in untramelled freedom another history begins its infant way.

Unfortunately ,Trulio, none of this lovemaking stuff is sacred these days. It is only momentary pleasure, then on to the next time. Oh well and hell lets go again.

even lovemaking asking nothing in return
or lovemaking running from room to room
even lovemaking in a cardboard box
or under the moon with a hot young fox
or paying for it from a professional who rocks
or in our elder years with both wearing socks
of course there are many who will never see
all ways we make love can be done sacredly

Glory to the moral of this poem, and at least equal glory to the easy light-hearted humour in it! Down with the thought that making-love need be a recreational sport, a solemn gender duty or obligation - and that it need be solemn... and dull!

Hey Alyosha....an awful lot of lovemaking can be very dull indeed. But something in the realm of a true connection is something else. The difference between significant and non significant. Cheers. And heres to significant fornication. lol. But, then, again there is a significant difference between men and women.

I had this lover about whom I often felt that our conversation was like making love and our love-making was like very good conversation.

elderly one
who often enters
this cafe
on one leg
supported
with a crutch
only one

searching for a current news paper

I feel pressed

but in the end he retrieves one

without fault

I was happy to note that this snapshot ended on an upbeat. Thanks

A lovely enigma here: Is the person buying the second paper because he/she wishes to get a broader view of things than can be got from any one paper, or is he/she congenitally insecure and unable to rely on any one point of view?

A guy comes into the café
with hair so unruly
it would take a troupe of barbers
as disciplined as Lipizzaner stallions
to tame it

actually i was thinking
'bout trulio's elder
seeking a newspaper
and his conflict
of whether to give his up.....
from there it appeared
my vision he could consider
buying a second paper.....
then he'd have a spare to share

This man was frantic, explaining his dilemma
some responded, many turned away.
Why do the frantic explore the freedom to be frantic?
what saves the rest from baring their behinds?
