Morning all,

Sunlight
Calm wind
Clover blooming
Sweet scent
Dew dripping
Water flowing
Leaves appearing
Recurring event
Birds chirp
Eagles flying
Boughs waving
Angles undertone
Wings soar
Spirit free
The forest’s alive
It mine to own………

morning Sam....[reminds me of those two characters on the Bugs Bunny show] the dog and the wolf

Emerald green,
diamond sparkling,
dew covered grass,
Signs of spring, finally,
Have come to pass.

I still await,
the eagle sighting,
yet creatures of spring
are playfully fighting,
Natures canvas.

But I’m sure it’ll soon repeat

So here’s to Lu

THE FOREST AND THE WIND

Part I

The rescue

She sits daydreaming out the window
The snow has her hypnotized
All her thoughts are suspended in air
Her eyes, by each flake, are mesmerized

Her wings flutter behind her
Not capable of flight in the sleet
So she waits out the storm
To again to fly with the elite

Only a very small collection
Were granted the ability to fly
For this group was selected
Those that were not afraid to die

This was a journey to save the child
Of whom would rule the future in years to come
And the warriors with wings of war
Know that they at some point may succumb

The rescue would take place
When the moon was full and blue
One more day to get ready and wait
Yet they all knew what they had to do

Sleeping through the daylight
Had become all to natural now
They had many years of training
All their minds would allow

Daydreams became reality as the sun set
The night was lit by the moon’s sapphire rays
They all gathered in one bunkhouse
To begin the final phase

All at once they took flight
In a circular formation in the sky
As they gradually changed directions
Above the mountain’s high……..

Part II

The rescue

The closer they became to the castle
Which held their future king
Their feathers began to molt
And their ears started to ring

Their talons on the hands
Burned as the air grew thin
Their lungs clenched tight
And hives infested their skin

They knew all the warning signs
They were about to start the war
Their enemy was for the most part wolves
Yet part human within their core

They walked two legs
But could leap 20 feet at a time
Fang and fur like the wolf
And extended claws to help them climb

They hunted in packs
With hands which held guns
And the venom in their bite
Penetrates and stuns

Leaving you helpless
For the leader to get near
So the last thing you feel
Is the sincerest of fear

As we descend upon the grounds
The pack senses our arrival
Know it’s up to what we’ve learned
To make sure of the child’s survival….

Tezzer,
Glad to see you found my thread, hope you will find a great home here!!
Scully and moulder,
Thanks for the kind words, come back again soon!!

Part III

The rescue

As we stoop down through the clouds
The war has already begun
Only 12 of us
This is a war that must be won

Below us, at least a hundred wolvens
Our only advantage was flight
We swooped in and aimed for their eyes
Their advantage, nocturnal sight

Twisting as we flew
Cries let out into the shadows
From both sides of the lines
The blood screaming rose

Back up into the clouds
And back down for another attack
Slowly we weeded out
The weakest of the pack

Feathers soaked in scarlet stain
We used every muscle we owned
For we knew it was their mighty leader
That was needed to be dethroned

One of them sank it’s teeth into her leg
And dragged her down to the ground
It was now a one on one
With this beastly hound

With her talons extended
She scratched wildly at his face
She was not ready to die today
Especially in this disgraceful place……

Mandrake, You are to kind!!

Part IV
The rescue

She lifted herself
With all her strength
Rising above him
By a body’s length

She dug in her talons
Again and again into his throat
Then she wrapped her throbbing leg
With the fur of his coat

One more wolfen left
It was the leader of the pack
He held his stance in front of the cave
You could see the child behind his back

With only two of us left
Just her and AmberMay
We spun at him with incredible speed
He just looked at us in disarray

Suddenly he wrenched his ferocious jaws
And caught AmberMay in the chest
A shallow gasp came out
She knew she’d never return to the nest

This was her last opportunity
She sliced his stomach open wide
He fell forward in silence
She stepped over him as she limped inside

The child’s eyes filled with tears
As he raised his arms to her
He kissed her cheek as she hugged him
Knowing what had just occurred

Part V
The rescue
The final chapter

She held the child tight in her wings
Right through until the morning light
Even though she was weak and hurt
She knew now everything would be alright

She placed him upon her shoulders
Within her pink tarnished feathers
She strapped on safe and secure
With wolfen leather leathers

She flew as best she could
Resting about every 10 miles
She gained her motivation
With everyone of his smiles

After three of the longest days
They reached their inhabitants
She smoothly drifted in for her landing
Upon the river reed plants

She carried the child up to the Queen
And laid him at her feet
She herself laid down slowly too
Exhausted, yet mission complete

The Queen knighted her that evening
For her bravery and admiration
Finally there was honor and respect
For the future of their fowlling nation….

As the sun set among the trees
The sky filled with shooting stars
And the war was now the past
Remembered only by her battle scars…..

I know that you are nervous about the flight, babe.
And, I'm not going to suggest that your nerves behave...
Take a puff or a drink before boarding the plane
Get good and dragon breathed, blow some flames
Look down upon the river from above
Think of yourself as a dove
And if that don't get you there, instead
Just keep these words by Neil Young in your head:

cripple creek ferry/Neil Young/circa late last century

Hey, hey
Cripple Creek ferry
Butting through
the overhanging trees
Make way
for the Cripple Creek ferry
The waters going down
it's a mighty tight squeeze.

All alone the captain stands
Hasn't heard
from his deck hands.
The gambler tips his hat
and walks towards the door.
It's the second half
of the cruise.
And you know he hates to lose.

Hey, hey Cripple Creek ferry
Butting through
the overhanging trees
Make way
for the Cripple Creek ferry
The waters going down
it's a mighty tight squeeze.
__________
It's cool, Mari
the river looks like a crooked line on a map
you can't actually see the ferries
but, with a good buzz you can imagine that crap

Mandrake,
I'm glad you liked it, my kids just pointed out that I started it in first person, and changed it halfway through, lol
I'll fix it tomorrow,

Dog,
That helped so much already, good way to think of it. And ya know how much I love CCR
I'll have to bring my Ipod with and listen to that as I look out over the river!!
Hugs darlin

PS, I'll wave your way as I get closer south

My nakid soul lay for all to gaze upon
My pink flesh gapping like an open wound
A black hole now represents my heart
My desolated forlorn soul lay doomed

The sun dawns as it kisses the crimson sky
New passion vivid as ruby reds, the hues of Love
Your love rises and falls in my soul, cause of you
You are my Angel gifted from the heavens above

Desolation is forbidden beyond the dunes
Can you take another step with those bleeding fragments of the moon?
Still imbedded in the kalidascope that you thought was reality
Are you strong enough to have them pulled out to reveal your destiny?

As the moon slowly climbs above the horizon
Can you hear the call of reason?
Polishing the lens of my outlook on life, I realized...
I wish I had blinders, who's tits are my wifes?

Morning all,

Cinderella & Dog,
Those writes were perfect!! Dog you had to throw in the tits didn’t ya, lol
I was cracking up!!!

Everyone up early
Talking about farts
And all the strange noises
From all body parts

Giggles from the younger ones
Laughter from the adults
Holding the bellies in pain
Are the gassy results

Faces turning bright red
As another one escapes
Maybe they shouldn’t have eaten
Those red and green grapes

What a breakfast topic
The scale of how they smell
And which ones make you snicker
As your eyes begin to swell

Which ones come from veggies
Or meats of all sorts
But their favorite topic was:
When you have to check your shorts…

Gotta love my family!!!!!!

The rose opens slowly
Kissed by the rising sun’s shine
Spotted with the morning dew
Essence, as sweet as wine
Petals as gentle as warm waters
Graceful as the butterfly
More beauty than one can see
With just the naked eye
Aroma so pure and flawless
No one really knows
Protection is forever
With the thorns beneath the rose
Nature is the sorcerer
Giving birth to such perfection
Safeguarding all its children
With defenses in its complexion…
