to you too Pickles!!

D is out and at work
Goes back in next week for more testing, Hoping the new meds will help!!

There is Justice
I am amazed
After 17 years
My eyebrows raised

I got a check
From child support
The Ex actually listened
To the court

It might not be much
But it's a start
Might have to frame
This piece of art......

If he's paying you...he'll expect some pvssy....LMAO....

The Kings are running from top of the Bay clear down to Clearwater
Yanno how much fun Northerns are to catch...
Well, these are a forked tail fish like a tuna (only really bloody and taste bad)
And it's really common to hook into one 4 feet long
You recall that huge grouper that your sis caught last year?
A 20 pound King fights harder and longer...
And when you get into them...they are everywhere
Yanno how strong my hands and forearms are....
Well, they ache and burn by the time I get the first one in the boat
I'm not going this season...ya wanno know the reason?
Cause I ain't gonna dip the bassboat in the salt
But, if I find something bigger at the boat sale next week, I still might
Might need a sponsor...let's do the math:
Fuel for both tanks of the truck at $3/gallon...$114
Fuel for the boat that will prolly have a huge tank or two...$300
New line for the rods, bait, suntan lotion, beer, snacks, tackle, etc...$250
(the cost of the boat is irrelevant because I'll be buying it to resell)
I'll stop there...but, that is way short if you figure me rigging the boat...
....and we catch 30 pounds of fish that we don't wanna eat
...equals $650 divided by 20...because a third of the fish you toss when you clean it..
Is $32.50 a pound for something that sucks to eat...
And that's just going for the day...
And yanno that I hate spending money on anything that I ain't gonna eat
We normally just catch one or two for fun while heading out to the grouper holes
Or fill up the cooler with speckled trout
A pounder just melts in your mouth
When it comes to keeping your catch...size just don't matter...
Unless, you just plan to mount it, of course...

arf...ever caught a dogfish in the mississip?
I've seen like two...same for spoonbill
Some gal ended up in the e.r. a couple weeks ago on the Swanee river...
I hope she's okay...but, I can't stop laughing...a sturgeon jumped and hit her
Knocked her clean out of the boat

moo, babe

edit: or maybe it was the Withlacoochee....I forgot what state I was in...:P

Good morning all,

Nature’s alarm clock

Sun lifting over the roof tops
Bursting an ocher circle of light
A warm picturesque day
Is beginning to ignite
The Zephyr drifts freely
Over the river’s frame
Gliding within it’s curves
Above the reflecting flame
Crystals bouncing off the water
Surrounding the mirrored halo
As the eagle swoops for prey
Beneath the water’s flow…….

sunrise poem, babe? been awhile
this ain't a coffee one...
But, before I forget...The Indian Princess is going to be live
on the air talking art tonight...I got the number to call in
I love the Indian Princess...her voice calms me with her excitement
she was born for talk, she's good lookin' :DD
which will be obvious even over the airwaves
when the masses kneel before her

now back to the previously scheduled sunrise...

It's nothing spectacular...
light blue turning orange
no puffy cloud thingies
not a leaf moving in the oak
I anticipate some pink, soon
but, only for a moment
Cajun's out riding his bike already
I think I'll shower and take him to the lake
I was's turning a yellowish gold
no pink today
but, the birds look really cool on the horizon

it was perfect
the flora and fauna walked along with us
the cypress trees are a light bright green
and of birds, there must have been 40 species
they literally walked up to us
as well did the squirrels
sky so blue that it was brilliant
sunrise on the water blinding
polarized allowing visions
of nature at it's finest
it was so cool that I had to call Amy
she's gonna grab her camera and put the day into her version of poetry
I love to read her pictures
she's the only person that I know that can make a rusty square nail speak a thousand words....
I can't even do that if I speak a thousand words
which, I normally do
this being no exception
I went across the monkey bars at the playground
It hurt...but, I just grinned and badassed through
swang for awhile, too
it's only 10am and I'm going to declare the day a victory
get a beer, light the grill....gotta love Sunday
and now I just got off the phone and the kid is going to the bmx track with uncle
now I have no responsibilities.......

Thanks Greengrassofhome, Feel free to post here anytime!!!

You’re right, got to love Sundays!!!

Took the kids fishing again this morning
The sun was dancing off the lake
Nothing much was biting
In the soothing ripple of the wake

So we headed further north
Up to the “River Ann”
Temps in the mid 80’s
No wind in the plan

After a few more hours
We called it a day
Sunburned and tired
It’s time for a BBQ buffet

Soon they’ll all go to bed
And work and school will come
Then I’ll be back out at the lake
For a little fishing on the “Rum”…..

Morning all,

Love the dynamite pun!!!!

Went fishing this morning
Just me and the lake’s wonder
Just got back home
I heard the distant thunder

Twas so peaceful and quiet
Even though I only caught a few
I threw them both back
Wasn’t enough to clean and chew

So now it’s time
To wash windows and screens
Finish my spring cleaning
And fill those laundry machines……….

Hiya Ding,
We all seem busy these last few months, Great to see you taking time to come play with us!!

Times change

The world spins faster
The pace is revolving
New and changing situations
Require different solving

Times change
People amend
But never forgotten
Is a friend

Roads to the future
Are paved in our past
Over potholes and buckles
They’re paths that last…..

On a well trodden path
I find a tree fallen
Wind blown down
I did not hear it fall
And don't know when it died

Roots are assunder
Branches in disaray
Now to air or ground
Foreign elements to both
Chaos abounds

To round it I must trek
Find another way
Go off the path
Dense brambles bar the way
Determined I carry on

The other side is much the same
and the path continues on
I turn to look and see the tree
Resenting where it has sent me
But feeling some sort of victory

Again I start down the path
Prepared I think for more deadfalls
Until unexpectedly I trip and fall
Muddied and lying still feeling for wounds
I look ahead & there I see an ant looking expectantly

Well, I ain't much for praying
But, God really hates my rants
And I've got a few favors coming
Peter ain't gonna run out of breath.

Morning all,

Marie, Glad to see you're coming back with a poem!!!

Dog, I went on a spirit quest yesterday, you should have seen the unseen!!!

Took a ride back to WI
Got to see my family and friends
God, the beauty there goes on forever
It seems to have no ends

I sat on the banks of the St.Croix River
I breathed the spirits core
I flew with the soul of the wind
And engulfed the eagles rapport

The sounds of the graceful water
Swayed with the rhythm of the trees
The leaves are all forming again
And new life floated on the breeze

I so miss the spirit quests back there
Yet, I have found new grounds here
Fresh places to connect with nature
An untouched new frontier…….

Evening all,

My teen just left for prom
She’s growing up to fast
I swear she was just crawling
But her beauty has now surpassed

She looked so gorgeous
So proper and mature
Her hair all pulled up and fancy
Her attire a bit demure

She’ll have a blast tonight
But I will worry just as well
Good thing Dad is their driver
There’ll be no raising hell…..

Morning all,

Ding, I hope everything is ok!!

Off to run errands
In the raining mist
Someone lost our bathtub plug
Just gets me a little p*ssed

So now I’m off to find another
And some oil for the car
Might as well get prescriptions too
As long as I’m going that far

I think I’m taking myself out
For a little bite to eat
At the old greasy diner
That’s if I can get a seat……

Have a great day ya’ll

Hiya Lu,
Great friends indeed
Now it’s a fricken beer
I know I need

Did my errands
Cops stopped my *ss
Didn’t go by me
Didn’t fricken pass

Tagged me for dark windows
If that aint a fricken joke
I got something they can
Suck on and choke

I’ve had this car for 7 years
Twas my friends that died
It’s more sentimental to me than anything
See, still with him I ride

So I had to scrape the windows
Standing in the rain
Guess I’m not to happy
So I guess I will refrain

Morning all,

I had a wonderful surprise yesterday
I thought We were going fishing
Instead we went out for lunch
And shopping for movies we were missing

We walked the mall for a bit
Visited our son at work
Haven’t seen him in forever
It was an added perk

My Mother’s Day came early
It was a perfect day
The night was just as awesome
Flawless in every way

Desires granted

Kisses softly on my shoulder
Tongue descending down my neckline
Hands roaming at freewill
Bodies starting to intertwine
Heat rising from between
Moments lost by time’s measure
Hearts beating together as one
All reality is soon obscure
Heights reached in breathless pants
Peaking simultaneously
Love the nights when nothings planned
And desires are granted spontaneously………

Morning all,

Your E-mail just made my day!!! My car broke down yesterday; sorry I didn’t get back on to finish our laugh fest!!
Perfect write!!! Glad to see you back!! And the Dog’s bark is much worse than his bite, LMAO
How was the meatloaf? Thought I was the only one who put crackers in it, lol. You should see the beautiful sunrise here this morning!! It’s incredible!!

Had to run more errands
But the car died at the gas station
The neighbor came and got us
The car had a bit of constipation

So I borrowed the neighbors
And finished the running
The car got towed
No engine gunning

Can’t wait to see
This bill I get
I’m sure from it’s effect
My pants I’ll wet

If it aint one thing
It’s another
Murphy’s law
Must have been my Mother…..
