BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR

I wish for heated sunny days
Now it’s so humid, there lays a haze
Air so thick and hot you can cut it with a knife
I’ll be more careful, what I wish for in life
Outside for parties all through till night
Swear my flesh very well could ignite
So be careful what you wish for
It could last for evermore

THE WINDS BALLET

Butterflies floating on the wind
Gliding upon its wispy flow
Kissing each flower and leaf
Which sways gently down below

Fragile wings dancing the winds ballet
Drifting up then down it settles
Drinking the sweet dew and nectar
From the blooming flower petals

SANDS OF THE WATERWAYS

Sands changing with the waves
Cleansing the prints left behind
Of all that walked upon its shoreline
Thus, creating new paths for all to find

Starting fresh with every swell
Laying new ground, in which to stroll
A course in a new found direction
With every surf which rolls

This is nature’s way of letting go of the past
Waiting for the next to walk its waterways
Forgetting all of the painful memories
And looking forward to better days

Untitled Act II

It is time my child for things to be said,
The truth is not always easy to be said,
But it is time, It is your time,
After what you are told, You are free to do,
But because I love you, This moment deserve is your right.

From my womb you never came,
Destiny told me you were alive,
You came to me,
And I came to you,
A small babe you were,
As one of our own you became,
A great blessing you have always been.

To whose womb I do not know whence you came,
Butt to where I found you, I always have known,
It is answers that you seek, Today answers you are to be given,
As my daughter, I tell you where to go,
Remember, what you decide I can not interfere,
I love thee much, But here I can not say more,
Much I know, Now you know.
Where you were found go here,
Where the mjountain shape two moons,
And the sun shines upon them with great love,
The area you seek is where twin rivers meet.
Lest you will know, That is where our destinies became one.

To her journey the child went,
Seeking the answers she has always asked,
She has found the twin rivers,, She now seeks where they meet,
She has found the moutains where they look like the moons together,
She has found where the twin rivers meet,

She has found it!
But there is nothing here!
She does not understand, She is saddened,
But upon her grief, she sees someone coming to river,
It is woman, she carries a babe,
Seeking water, She nears her.

The woman carrying the babe, their eyes meet,
She does not understand, the person she looks at is her mirror image,
Both are scared but curiousty has gottem them,
Oh what to do they both ponder.
In amazement the woman with a babe goes to her,
To not make war, but to seek peace and understanding,

In their own language they speak,
Wishing each other greetings,
The woman with a babe gestures toward chest and utters "Jessica"
And points to her as if trying to seek her name,
She understands, She points to the sun and gestures standing,
Jessica understands her name now, Stands in the Sun,

They become friends, Jessica wishes this,
So does Stands in the Sun as well.
Stands in the Sun knows throug Jessica,
Her answers will be answered, She does not know how,
She knows this some how.

Time passes, Her mother awaits her daughters return,
Has she found the truth?
WIll she come back?
An adopted mother's worse fear.

But she remains calm,
She waits. . . .

Her daughter returns,
Stands in the Sun has come home,
She brings with her three people,
Her sister and her son, and the person who carried her in her womb,
Her mother is introduced to her womb carrier,
She now knows who she is,
She is afraid, does she seek her daughter?
Does she seek revenge for daughter being found?
Scared she is, very much,
Her daughter than translated her womb carrier's words:

Thank you, A good woman you have raised my daughter,
She was dead to me because misunderstanding between our peoples,
In war we were seperated, But now in peace we are reunited,
A good warrior and woman she has become, I give you many blessings,
This is all I can ask for, I only seek her well being,
This is all I ask for, You are the answer that request,
A debt to you I owe greatly, For love you have shown our daughter,
Repay you I can not, But thank you I can always do,
This day, I have long awaited. . ..

WIPED OUT

Long trip in the car
Saw the lawyer today
Two hours there
To hear what she had to say
Listened for an hour
Then the two hour track
Home again to lie on ice
To calm my back
I can’t write too much
The drugs are in
The body aches
The head does spin
Off for now
Without a doubt
Must relax
I’m just wiped out

Good night all!!!

ETERNAL YEARN

From deep inside
The passions flow
For the love
You’ve come to know

That constant longing
Of things we learn
Our need to feed
The eternal yearn

That’s why we repeat
The revolving door
We just have to have
A little more

thought this thread could use another work by me, lol

The Night

The sun has long ago set,
Leaving the moon shining bright,
A sight that you could not regret,
Welcoming in the night.

As the moon rises into the sky,
Casting down its glow,
It causes a twinkle in your eye,
That only you should know.

You gaze up and let out a sigh,
How you hate to leave this scene,
But you must say goodbye,
Even though it is serene.

You close your eyes and let your dreams ignite,
For when you wake up it shall be light.

SLEEP IS OVERDUE

It’s the crack of dawn
Sleep is overdue
Little ones up early
Still sick with the flu

No alarm clock needed
When that sounds right by my head
The little one is puking
Right next to me in bed

Jumped up like lightning
Jarring my back with pain
To quickly grab a bucket
And hold it as I strain

Poor little darling
The medicines will sooth
All your aches away
You’ll soon be sleeping smooth

DAWN’S LIGHT

Early morning hours
Seeing dawn’s light
Breaking over the trees
The parting of the night

Sunrise sets the moment
Skies begin to blue
Stars begin to fade
And lights the ginger hue

The clouds are drifting in
Painting the morning sky
Completing the perfect background
As the eagles fly

Untitled

Today I mourn, But I also celebrate,
Today my wise grandmother of great wisdom and faith has gone,
I celebrate because she leaves behind great lessons,
Though her body is sleeping, The spirit of her memories are with me,
I am not alone.

When I have questions about life,
I seek the wisdom of my grandmother, the ever wise one,
Truly, I am not alone, For I have the memories of great smile,
Truly, I am am loved, She left me great words to live by,
That is a gift that can not be taken away from me.

Today I mourn,
I can not hold her tightly and tell her I love her,
I wish to see her warm comforting gaze,
Her warm grasp made me feel safe,
Her home was a place where you were honored,
Today I moun this great person.
Today I mourn, Because I left things unspoken and unsaid,
Now I must wait until my time.

I was not brave enough to face Death,
And to tell him, please give her one more day,
I wish to just see her one more time.
Her last lesson to me. . . .

But today I celebrate,
She leaves behind nothing but fond memories,
She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and compassion,
No one can replace those things,

Today I celebrate,
Now my grandmother has taken her place among the elders,
A place of honor.
I am happy for her, I love her so.

Today I celebrate,
She has become one with the universe and taken her place,
For when the wind blows gently upon my brow when I am sad,
It is her comforting me with her gentle hand,
For when the sun shines warmly upon my face when head is down,
It is her telling me to keep my head up and have faith,
For when the birds sing their gentle song when the world around me is angry,
It is her telling me to remember that good always prevails even in the midst of tragedy,
For when I am sad and confused, I have her deep warm memories of her wisdom,
Truly she is not gone,
Surely, for when it is my time, She will be there with the Angel,
I will have no fear, For she and Lord's grace will be with me.
