I just add a drop of lube

She could have been Cousin It for all I cared
A tight azz and and really long hair
I know better than to look into her eyes
She uses that as her best disguise
I don't want to fall in love with mystery
Her and I share too much history
It would never work as proved
Let's just get drunk, fvck, and get a tattoo

Everyone dies young.
It's the mileage that counts.
And the maintenance.
There are 100 yr olds younger than us.

I lived more than any 10 men I knew, before I turned 35
And I've learned in the last 7, what it takes to survive
No bars. No liquor. No craps or $100 pool games.
Ladies...I must be nearly tamed

Hey Tenz, wrote this in answer to first and last, and decided against posting it. My lame virgin attempt at hip-hop or whatever it's called.....

sooner than get it on with you I'd **** a dead trout!
let me tell you little man what it's all about
you think you're rhymin simon
cuz you just lost your hymen
better stop your bragging
and calling folks fagging
show some manners and class
or we'll bust your ass
and give us our props
'cause we've got writing chops

Happiness is...

...the ability to believe in oneself...
...the freedom to release your own shackles...
...the curiosity to explore an uncharted life...
...the motivation to shout carpe diem from the highest mountain...

I'm not telling y'all anything that you didn't already know
I'm not worth a dam.n when left unattended
I require fortification of lilac and lavendar...and a touch of melon

It's time to dig the garden
I'm so dam.n simple
You want pole beans or kentucky's, darlin
I tend to lean toward the poles with hocks or bacon
I want to take you back to the creek
And me too...
Hold my hand
Walk with me
Taste the wild rasberries
There is so much I have missed
Dandelion's yellow kiss
It's not a weed if you can recall getting yellow on your nose
Cotton spores tossed to the wind, shortly after the glow

You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you just might find
You just might find
You get what you need

No perfect love
nor perfect timing
nor perfect fuck

But love, yes, a little scarred,
and with a hiccup or two
and tender and staying
and tastes good, too. . . .

Any day I knew you
took a breath

Any evening I knew you'd
be home

Any morning I woke
with you in my bed

Any time my body
touched yours

Any second our
eyes met

Every time our
minds sang together

What is this.... bread?
the crust is stale and the scent is moldy decay
it is a useless feed when it becomes this way
yet starving
yet tired
yet cold
yet gray
I will eat today not knowing if it will nourish me
I will chance my life knowing that it may end me to ease this hunger for one more stay in this final relief.

And he said, "speak to us of rainbows"

There are no rainbows my dear
only souls who wish to see
it's fantasy mornings filled with rain
and the rest is only light
nothing ever reaches the earth
the gold is stolen as it waits
never worthy
illusions glowing brightly hiding.

T...I see your plight and plead you can't send email to a mod directly,
I thought to suggest you go to the site suggestions/help forums and write out the problem there
where mods seem to cruise down those streets often....

branches of trees
heavy with snow
light an eerie glow
flat grey whiteness
of this snowy abyss
breathtaking really
perfect emptiness

trulio, i am particularly encouraged by freedom to express ourselves, when we choose to do so with openness, and when those who hear us or read us feel the same freedom and openness to disagree. much of what you write is thoughtful, some of what you write is imagined. god is a creation of the mind. when you and the person standing next to you agree with one another then you have a companion. when three of you agree then you have a community. with four you begin to call what you have a religion. it doesn't matter whether god is actual, only that you and others agree with one another. yes, god is a spirit, a manifestation of the mind.

you write/quote that "reason is the faculty by which we distinguish evil from good, bad from worse, good from better, worse from worst, better from best." reason is often omitted when distinguishing among the pairs that are noted here. again, it is most often an action of the mind creating a world that isn't necessarily actual. our world ..... today and throughout history ..... is rife with one community identifying good and evil while another community claims just the opposite or, at least, each community insisting that they are right and the others are wrong, good and evil be damned ..... so to speak. religion often banishes the life of the spirit, with males often being the perpretrators.

if there is a god, because of the life that i lead, i know that god loves me and is tolerant of my insistance that he/she doesn't exist. i don't need god, and god doesn't need me. i'm not even an atehist. for me there isn't even a question.

yesterday i had to laugh at the introduction to a book, "alchemists, mediums & magicians, stories of taoist mystics"
by thomas cleary. he puts us poets & spiritualists and religionists where we belong, including his description of our talents:

"'alchemists, mediums & magicians' is a collection of sketches from chinese history portraying more than one hundred of the remarkable individuals associated with exceptional knowledge, uncommon artistry and spiritual leadership over a period of more than two millenia. ..... among them are people who appear to the world as philosophers and scholars, strategists and statesmen, recluses and courtiers, magicians and mediums, philathropists and educators, alchemists and physicians, seers and soothsayers, priests and paupers, artists and poets."

wow! not only are you and i known for our exceptional knowledge, uncommon artistry and spiritual leadership but we dance freely with courtiers and strategists and priests. i know that i fit in at least three of the categories, poet and pauper and recluse. i wonder if we have the roots of all categories in us, alchemically or magically? are we all priests? and poets?
