"Luckily you are not called Persephone or he would've kidnapped you away to Hades. :1"

Cannot recall ever eating one although I do have a pasion for growing fruit and vegies.

Mmm yeah pretty much what a few other people have said and that's an in depth discussion of their ex. Now I'm not fussed about some one casually dropping their ex into a story that is relative but when every single sentence references a former lover you quickly get the picture that perhaps they have not fully moved on and it's a huge turn off

"you are the man so you pay"...while ordering more drinks.

I told her I was going to the toilet. I paid for my share at the cash register at the RSL and then just left and switched my phone off lol.

I think I love you!

I said that to someone, ironically, in the first message I sent them, they believed me and wouldn't stop messaging me.

I haven't had any particularly scary dates, I must be doing something wrong :( I did however drive all the way up the coast to meet someone once. I arrived early, so I got a drink and read a book while I was waiting, when my date arrived the first thing she said was "Hi...Oh, you're a 'reader'. :s

He asked when I might be, so I said it would take me 5 dates to be comfortable enough to get there, and he asked if I would do it in 3.

LMAO

Did you come to an agreement?

Surf n turf n dancing on the yachts?

you're late, you don't paint your toenails"..

In his defence; painted toenails are real cute. (very feminine) I "Did" see Boomerang though; so meh.

Well, first date, she seemed nice and stuff... Won't go into it, but it was a very interesting date to say the least. Like a really bad teen movie.

Second date started well enough, until we got in the car to go out to dinner... Starts telling me that she's concerned. about me.... I ask what she means, she replies with words to the tune of;
"You've got something around you, something really dark."
"What? Like an aura or something?"
"No... More like an evil presense that causes bad things to happen"
"So... I'm haunted by a ghost...?"
"Not like a ghost, and not like a haunting... More like it was brought in by you, and attached itself to you because you feed it"

And so on and so forth until;
"I have seen it on your facebook photos, it gets blacker, more powerful with time... It's growing in power"
"So...... Am I gunna die?"
"Probably eventually... But I don't think it'll kill you intentionally.... It'll probably kill those closest to you first"

So needless to say, dinner was interesting... And I'm still alive.

Hi everyone, this must be the most entertaining forum topic I've read and I actually now can't resist from posting.
The worst thing I've heard on a date is probably nowhere near as funny or interesting as any of these posts and without going too much into my dating history it may not even sound so bad but it was:
"You are exactly what I have been searching for all my life and now that I've found it, I'm never going to let you go".
This was from what I had presumed to be a 6 foot, dark haired, reasonably fit and goodlooking 40ish guy but turned out to be a semi-balding (what hair he actually DID have was gingery grey), obese and very unattractive 50 at the least man who's idea of a date was a bag of crisps and a pint of lager.
Needless to say I was so not interested but he had stalker like tendencies (surprise surprise) and it all ended up becoming quite annoying and tedious.

It wasn't me, honest.

I was only in Perth on holidays and I only stalk one woman at a time otherwise I get confused.

I went out on a date (from another site) and started chatting to old mate. Bit of common ground etc so decided to meet.

Confronted with a short, somewhat stumpy build, mediteranean soul with a goatee dressed in a sloppy joe and jeans.

Dinner was nice when the conversation wound around the corner to the x's. Mine, standard story; 'fell to bits'. His story;

His X was a centrefold model. Previous to that she had been a stripper. In the giddy heights of their love she decided in her wisdom to 'make a few extra dollars' she would like to go back to making porn, just to make ends meet and she is now a Kings Cross prostitute.

As my sister in law said rolling her eyes "I wonder how long it took him to come up with THAT story"

This story will be known as Worst Date. Ever.
I met a lady for coffee which drifted into lunch which she paid for (it seemed like a big deal to her to do that). Had some messages between each other during the week and there was a possibility of meeting up on Saturday night depending on whether she could get a babysitter. She has an Indian background and I half-jokingly suggested an Indian restaurant I had found to be very good. She lives near my ex-wife-to-be. I dropped the kids off on Saturday night at 6.30pm. Then I sent a text to the lady to say I was going for a half hour run and to see if she was available later. My plan was to go for a run, then have a swim and shower at the pool, get changed and be ready for about 8pm which is the earliest I expected her to be ready/available.
At 7pm when I got back from my run I sat in the passenger seat of my car so I could get my phone out of the glovebox. I put the keys on the floor and the car locked itself. We had a chat and she was only available until 9.30pm. We agreed to meet at the Indian Restaurant in 20 minutes so no swim for me. Or shower.
So, I jumped out of the car shut the door and walked round to the drivers door. Locked. I had to call the lady and ask her to drive me to my house so I could pick up the spare key. Her old car had been playing up and the problem was worse on hills. I live at the top of a hill. She is a p plater with not a lot of experience driving in Australia. To get to my house you have to go down a very steep gravel road and up again.
Anyway we get the keys then head back. The restaurant is on the way and we don't have time to get to my car and back. So we go to the restaurant. I am wearing a singlet and shorts and holeproof explorer socks (trying too hard to be an Aussie?). Previously the food from the restaurant had been great. That night the food was very dissapointing. My wallet was in the car so she paid. Then dropped me back to my car.
Fortunately, she took it all in good humour.
I felt terrible. I had to ask her to rescue me as I had looked myself out of my car. I took an Indian lady out for a terrible curry. Which she paid for.
We are still friends and do chat and text each other now and then. Starting from here no future dates I have can be as bad, can they?

The story about how his wife had it off with his best friend so he beat her up.

I'm still not sure which is worse .....that he thought that was justifiable behaviour, or that I might possibly look like the kind of person that would think that's ok. .....eeeeeeek!!!

" After almost an hour of details information on each and every relative he had on facebook, the offer to sit on the couch and watch his family home movies, smiling he told me he had about 70 hours of footage..
As I made my excuse to leave and pick up my child from his dads place he spat out 'how off putting when women have an ex husband"

Some of us have kids who can interfere with our lives at some point.

I can understand that a woman can be waiting a phone call from children who need to be picked up but a phone for the purpose of attending a sex party isn't what one would like to hear especially if it involves one woman and several guys.

Made my exit and blocked that woman.

I definately do not have her number and I wouldn't even give her number out if I still had it.

Just chalked that one up to experience.

I took a lady to dinner one nite and after eating her seafood meal she leaned toward me and whispered, (("I'm gonna be sick>")) That is the worst thing I have ever heared on a first date.... I recommended a good lawyer and two yrs. later she was $30,000 richer and gave me $2000 for caring for her over that weekend. she is married now and we are still good friends,,,

Take a look at your nick on here. Maybe it helped him to get the "wrong" idea ???

I swear that one of these days women will start to take responsibility for their actions. I believe that is part and parcel of "equality."

What do you think ?
