from a former employer:
"Ask not what you can do for your job, ask what your job can do for you."

from Commander USA:
"Keep your nose to the wind and your tail to yourself."

from a notepad at a lumberyard:
"Paper never forgets."

From my grandpa....

"If you have to keep telling people that you're smarter than they are, then you probably aren't"

"If you don't know what to do then the best thing to do is nothing... problems have a way of telling you when and how they need to be resolved"

"The only person who didn't learn anything new yesterday was that guy who died the day before..."

Always be what other people want you to be in front of them. They will like you a lot more that way.

The 3 MONTH RULE
Many years ago, my counsellor at the time taught me what she called, THE THREE MONTH RULE. It goes something like this: Whenever you begin a new relationship, don't make any major life changes until at least three months from your first date have passed. Why? Cuz when things are new, exciting, and young, everyone wants to be liked and can put on a good show to make a good impression on you. But most people, both men and women, will have pretty much shown their true colors by the time three (3) months have passed. So wait until then to form your true opinions about the person you are now involved with, and don't make any major lifestyle changes with that person until at least 90 days have ticked off the calendar! lol

I have used The 3 Month Rule for at least 20 years now, which probably explains why -- at the age of 52 years young -- I am still very happily, intelligently, and thankfully SINGLE! hehehe

Love and kisses,
Leslie
