I might be a bit thick but does it say somewhere on the site what the different personalities are supposed to mean and how they could relate to me?
I would like to pick a fish personality but I could pick one that implies I'm some sort of weirdo.

I find it very interesting that several of the men that I have met personally who turned out to be jacka$$es have all selected the clownfish as their personality marker.
Perhaps I need to pay more attention to how men see themselves.. lol. Funny does not always mean haha. Sometimes it really does mean odd.

I kind of got a kick out of how people look at themselves in the Fish sense.

is there a sugardaddie fish???
That banner makes me want to throw up. If you're cruising on that site you deserve to have all your money and posessions given to the poor.

I'd just like to make a suggestion for "Rainbow Trout" to be added to the list. Though, preferably, it would be added under its scientific name "Oncorhynchus Mykiss". What would be cool is an option to enter your own fish time. IE have a "custom" or "other" option and be able to enter your own fish type into a text box. Yes I know people will put all sorts of nasty things in there (I think I noticed "trouser trout" on one thread about this topic) but they'd do that anyway. Just a thought, altogether I like it (and might waste a bit of time developing a coordination with your Jungian typology test to offer).

ok then, found there is a thread on our 'fish personalities'. I love it. maybe cuz i figured it was there since POF conception.
I have found some other marine life types via dictionay...not sure if suggestion is allowed or not since i'm a Noob. ie mermaid
but i would like to see a page explaining each fish type [ like the page that explains our personality essays we had to take upon entrance to the pond]
i picked turtle because..i eventually get there. HA! or due to the fact i need to 'go home' for a while by removing my head from all life forms HA! Ever wonder what a turtle is doing 'inside there'? Smoking a doob? munching a cookie? rolling its eyes? talking to itself? crying

Uh oh, can't remove it? Sounds like my T Mobile My Faves, I can't remove this guy I can't stand! I'll save My Faves for my relatives. But this new feature, thanks for the warning. I will give much thought before adding anything.

No Barbee, it's a really cute feature that's been here awhile and can be changed at whim . . . when you want the setting back to "no fish" or blank choose "no personality"
leaving your title blank again.

It's all a cute choice option under your zip code in edit your profile mode. Been an option for some time . . . a newbie must have revived a "dead" or old thread.

ok so ... is there an actual test to find out what my fish personality is or do i just pick it? ... and if so how the hell would i know what fish i am? haha

That's what I've been wondering. There's an unrelated fish personality test elsewhere, but it doesn't match PoF's list so I assume we just pick whichever we like the sound of?
