Looks like the majority of women under about 30 or so prefer at least some cleanup down there, and plenty are happy to see it all gone. As a guy who's been trimming and tidying (front and back) below the waist since his 20s I couldn't go back to the old blackberry thicket. I feel cleaner and sexier and it's just part of my normal toilet routine.
After trying a number of things I settled on a battery-op eyebrow comb-trimmer ;set it to the length you prefer, turn it on and comb away. I take it right down to just the suggestion of hair above the****- completely shaved reminds me of a turkey neck. I shave my balls in the shower when they start to get bristly and shave my ass crack as well. I don't like a mouthful and the women I''ve been with, without exception, are pleasantly surprised.
As to the guy who thinks any man who trims anything but whiskers is gay - how do you feel about your nose and ear hair, stud?

this is too funny to think people STILL GOT SIDEBURNS ON THERE PRICK. looken like a seventies porn. I do trim but i wont shave i did that once and it was not only a bad feeling there nothing like having ur balls stuck to ur leg all day.

but you have sideburns on your face..looks like Ron "The Hedgehog" Jeremy in the 70's

I don't get the guys that get all indignant over the thought of cleaning up down there. I don't really care one way or the other - nobody sees it, and I don't think about it at all unless it's in use

there seems to be an equal number at least indignant about the though of not 'cleaning up down there'.

that seems odd, especially from guys who at the same time like having short & curly pube-like hairs all over their face, but are indignant about not having them on their

why not live & let live? why does it bother you if some other guy chooses not to shave there, especially if you are heterosexual?

.i just dont like hair.

don't worry then, looks like soon enough all that 'nasty' hair on your head will be saying bye-bye permanently

seriously, it seems like those who shave say those who don't are 'wrong', and those who don't say those who do are 'wrong'..

who cares, really?

Well, hell! Looks like I'm in the minority here. Dudes, please. Don't shave for me. I prefer a "manly-looking" man. Smooth nuts just don't do it. No offense, guys. It's just that I'm more "primal".

you're overlooking the REAL men when you're saying those statements. competitive bodybuilders shave ALL body hair for competitions and most of them do it year-round. now, i would love for you men criticizing it to go to a bodybuilding show and talk trash to those guys who shave their bodies and see how that works out for you.

uh, OK, do "real men" have to take all kinds of synthetic drugs, hormones, steroids, etc.?

haha don't make me laugh and try to deny that virtually all of these guys do

after prolonged usage these 'real men' probably can't even get it up any more

yes, like it smooth, i think it is classy and I fully respect a man who takes that kind of care of himself and goes to the trouble of presenting "their lower regions". 53.

Why are you so hostile? You act like shaving pubic hair is mandatory now and anyone who chooses not to is socially unacceptable. *That* mentality is what turns me off, not the fact that so many people shave. Live and let live... but that goes both ways.

true, dat..what people can't seem to grasp that is it's sort of a trend, like getting tattoos or getting pierced..there is now social pressure that 'everyone' must do it.

I still don't understand why so many of the same guys that "hate" hair on their pubic area then choose to have similar short curlies all over their face

and sometimes long greasy hair on their head..if hair is 'bad', isn't it 'bad' everywhere?

so your woman doesn't like hair when she goes down on you..does she never kiss your face?

I asked that question but no-one really answered it..guess the societal trend dictates that to be "cool" you must shave your pubes but not your face or head? or maybe legs, armpits, arms, chest, etc? where other nasty hair is?

it seems that to prove you are an "individual" you must shave your pubes, have a goatee, get multiple tattoos, and a few body piercings.

is there a guidebook out there for this? is it best to have both nipples peierced with a ring, or just one?

when your favorite rock star/idol starts pulling out his canine teeth to be cool, will you all emulate that too? jewel-implanted teeth?

and then say" Look at how unique I am!! just like millions of other copycats..!!

being overweight tends to make people smell funky more, other things being equal, as well, the sweat is trapped in the rolls of flesh

but I suppose shaving is a lot easier than losing a few pounds,

maybe even doing 'crazy stuff 'like exercise and a good diet

I have been shaving for years. It feels great, all nice and smooth and the women appreciate the fact that they won't get hair in their teeth too. I especially like my balls licked so shaving is the answer to that.

I usually shave, but then I let it grow back out, so it is always changing. For a woman. I am not into if you know what I mean.

It is cleaner. Doesn't smell half as bad at the end of the day. I have bald for years. I use a razor and shaving cream. Clippers take down the growth when needed. I am sure she doesn't want a mouth full of hairs as i don't either. I hate going to the dentist for a haircut! Shave them clusters!!

It needs a bit of hair above it, but any hair longer than 1 centimeter (that's approx. 1/2 inch for my friends in the U.S.) is too long!

I godda tell you. When it comes down to this? I am happy with someone who will just love me for me and not my pubic hair depth. If I do anything. I do it because of my personal grooming habits and not to go on display for a public rating.

does she bring a micrometer/depth gauge along on 'dates' ?

well why dont you ask yourself that question. dont you like it neat down there or you like a bush growing wild and disgusting? well being older than 35 i love it shaved and neat. I myself am completely shaved and have been for atleast 15 years. so if you like it neat why wouldnt we? on the other hand if you like disgusting bush, knock your socks off. roflmao
