Let my song be heard,
far and wide,
from dawns first light,
to the dark of night

How do I love thee?

Beautiful. Can I adopt that as my mantra, M?

Hiya sure can darlin!

How do I love thee?

A syllable cannot kiss you,
nor can words caress you

how do I love thee?

through song of the sea
and dew on the morn,
a rose without thorn,

a breeze in the willows,
a tapestry of sky,
a sun and a moon,
with a song to fly.

tis a mantra
of hearts!

Seaz... a tribute to a music icon^^^^ May he rest in peace!

A true story

tonight, I threw on a sweater,
went to the market...
and somehow noticed something weird...
people staring, smiling
at me...Ok?
what gives!

and then it happened!

from under my sweater
fell a pair of thongs!!

Without fabric sheets
they clung inside my sweater
until they fell out...

I swear folks...they were my daughters!!

I shiver in the night
For my skin
has not been touched
In that way
for such a long time

And like a magnet
I am pulled
To the glare
of his eyes

I wonder
If it's possible
To have overlooked

One thing
I might have missed...

Or am I correct
To assume
That it is all in the kiss

I've been so ornery
For so very long
It's hard to tell whether I'm being stubborn
Or if this undying song
That replays over and over
Again in my mind
Really is the one
I'll want for all time

And I shiver
As the light from my laptop
Heats my mind
Causes lies to spew
Makes me wish I could find
A more permanent solution
Patches can't fill
the lack of affection...

I need to be held
I need my satisfaction
But to take such a thing
Without a damned old wedding ring
In my mind is a sin
So here I am again
Denying my needs
Planting the seeds
For a lonely life
Filled with regret...

Shades of Blue
Posted: 6/26/2009 9:56:24 PM
A young girl ambles through shades of blue,
while black of night seeps idly through.
A lone wolf's cries steal the calm,
and a daughters sighs long for dawn.

Hear this heart it's blood does pour,
feel the slight of love's closed door.
Feel me now for I tremble and shake,
a kiss upon my head it does take.

Snatch from me this solitary time,
make dance with me as not just mine.
Answer's bring with you do come,
like end of night and rise of sun.

A young girl ambles through shades of blue,
another days passing and seeing it through.
The dawn of new day come,
the dream of new love won.

Oh Manny...
Just spit out
Your sweet words of passion

Drift my mind
To a mysterious time
I've known all along
But yet to experience
Paint your lips
On another's shoulder
And let me feel
The desire I want

neighbor kitty
belly full of life,
I think...
often stays half hidden
in the bushes
with a mane of leaves
around her head
Curious kitty
with no intentions...
just rests and watches
have not seen her today
perhaps she's too busy to lurk
perhaps she feeds her babes
Awe kitty!

(just observations around my place)

speaking of kitties
these days i have two
a siamese rescue four years ago....
saved when just a few weeks old
from a cattery who did not uphold
the basic rights of a cat....
raising these babies
for their pedigrees
she would breed and ship them out
just for profit, no doubt....
for these poor kits
were raised in a cage
which would break my heart
for any living being...any age...
does not take a sage to know
when a young kitten hisses
it means 'tis love that they misses

If a wild kitten hisses
It might not be missing
This thing you describe as love
For it might just be acting
In the way it was meant to be
Who's to say
That by taming them
We are giving them
What they need

... lol, just made me think of the psycho kitties up at Mom's... do not touch radiates from their eyes, so free and wild, makes you want to run and hide

i agree with you...
who's to say, 'tis true....
we want our pets to love with us
to help us open up love in our hearts....
i do agree, dear one,
and then i also remember the fun
i used to have when just a teen
for my mum became keen
on breeding and showing siamese back then
though had long gaps in between....
and those litters of kits
in my room they'd find
their new life apprenticeship!
at first light i would awaken
feeling like a pin cushion
with the racing about
of five or six kittens
with claws straight out...
too young to retract them....
or i'd find them all sleeping and dreaming
a pile of fur in the trundle bed breathing
so coccooned and happy....
and after a good feed
when they wanted company
to me their mother would lead
with them all purring and cuddling
and climbing on me...
so you see, dear one,
i do agree
but back then
i never had one hiss at me
i think because i really held no threat
and they were used to people company

Nostalgic moment,
stealing away my heart,
remembering the touch
in your eyes,
my soul, the liquid
in your gaze, mirrored
like a looking glass,
your hands, lifting me
to plateaus beyond reason,
when we touched,
it was like thunder
and lightning,
your flesh became
the palette of my dream,
rolling, caressing
and burning the
heavens with a molten
passion, chariots
pushing us farther, and faster
the morning shivered
with the union complete,
delivering it's eulogy
to all things living.

I remember Armaggedon,
that day we said goodbye,
walking to the plane,
couldn't seem to find an eye
to look back!
to think back!
my body consumed
by the black emptiness
without you.

Samba Pa Ti
was our dance of love,
no world, no words,
just two
locked in the passion
of time, rhythm of the stars,
I remember Armaggedon,
the day we both cried!

Lady Stilletto

Lady stilletto
click your heels,
writhing your chemical dance,
make sure you brush his thigh

before you get high...

Lady stilletto
click your heels,
sending winks with an empty eye,
candy store that never closes.

Back on the corner
I hear the same old click,
searching the lonely streets
for another chemical fix.

bringing this one home.

To move......
to move a thought,
from it's infancy, to it's silence,
to give it life, to see it beat,
as a heart upon a page,
more than decorations,
more than light,
but the purest
of love,

and yet

My pen bleeds,
and only words
where is my heart
upon the page?

Speak sage,
that I might
key the lock!

Beautiful write it.

in a crowded room,
like a tomb,

where echoes tremble

with bullets flying,
with children crying,

and no one hears
the voices speaking,
no one hears
hearts are leaking,

what sound do you

I will sit at your feet
as you tell of of long ago
times that moved in cadence
gently washing over us with thier ebb and flow

I will stand by your side, M
battling facietious and unwise
shoulder to shoulder taking on the world
one at a time

I will hold your hand to comfort you
as those we love leave too soon
when tears flow unchecked
my heart will realize the comfort of your friendship
