Hey the write tell white lies? Fibber!

Ahhhh, the crazy poets,
burning embers with velvet tongues,
sparks of life like flowing water,
how does your garden grow?
Row upon row
in a cucumber patch,
or some place that needs
a scratch,
an itch that never ends,
thoughts waiting for idle pens,
perhaps a riddle
among the trees,
perhaps a snicker
or just a sneeze,
am I crazy?
Damn straight!
Normal people aren't up
this late!!

Fears relinquish their control
Reality tries, with no avail
For I don't really care
Whether or not I should dare
To continue this fight
Of setting things right...

Who am I kidding?
What I'm really needing,
Is peace and comfort.

I used to get it down the road
But his burdens were to heavy
for me to hold

So I went way far away
Got a little foreign taste
Not sure if I've sinned
Anymore than I had with him

But maybe it makes it
Much more wrong
When you've no intention
To continue the song
Any further than
A woman and man
Falling asleep
and trying to ignore
Their new found love's
rattling snore

Good girls finish last too...

feeling very sleepy
my cats sleeping here with me
both curled up the same exact way
they sleep more now than they play
but being siamese
they have so much to say!

like yin and yang
almost completely the same
mirror images of each other
identical twins they could be
but their sizes show clearly
they are sister and brother....

the boy is bigger
with a mischievous side
where the girl is so delicate
loud sounds she'll run and hide
but then quickly return for reassuring
purring just like a pidgeon cooing....

feeling very sleepy
my cats asleep on me
wishing i could grow real small
with a coat so velvety and furry
then i could also curl up in a ball
and join them in their cuddly reverie

To hell with furry pussies
I have much more to say:
What were the ramblings coursing through
That huge brain today????

How is it possible
that we create "cheap" products
Have we become so "consumerized"
That we don't know straight up

As if it were ever acceptable
To create a disposable product
What are we inconvenienced by?
A trip to the garbage can
TV repair man
Shoe shines

automation has already ruined us
Look at these fat lazy ****es
With their fat ass kids
The CPS takes away
from those who smoke a joint
But have a 100 lb three year old
And no one gives a shit

I'm sorry sweetie,
If I'm speaking of you
But the truth has to be said
Nothing much else to do

Speaking of truths
Stop the fraud
Your back isn't hurt
**** that job
That you never liked
So retaliated against
I lost my freaking child?
Did I sue the **stards?

Hell no.
Mistakes are made
Stuff happens
Some hurt worse than others
But it is all apart of the same plan
So there's no point in ****ing
Once it's over with...

I thought at first
that this was a new-found weakness
I blamed the modern lawyers
Their television ads claiming
That if you had this symptom
And you feel this way
Come join our team
We'll make them pay

But we didn't just start this
America is one big ****ing lawsuit
From the start
Over and over again
Some freaking judge,
Deciding what should be done
Rather than some good old-fashioned
Heaven forbid:::: common sense

So I don't blame the current trends
Or some ****ing whacko in Congress
I blame the suckers who follow
And act like we cannot change it

Bull shit I say
I'll see the day
When merit is given
Based on merit due
And not some Masonic ring
That keeps this whole country glued

To a materialistic
... the freaking Latinos are taking back their home
think women's rights are bad now
just wait till they take over

for they acknowledge the fact
that life comes from our womb
but as far as making decisions?
Well, that's a man's problem.

Not trying to be racist
Just speaking the truth
they don't really give a damn
About what happens in the end
Everyone pushing
for some outrageous goal
No one stopping to wonder
What footprint that their soul
Will leave on this earth
For the generations to come
You stupid, selfish ***holes
Let's give these kids a home...

ignite a fire with what you've learned
watch the flames rise to the skies
as it crackles and heats as it burns
careful of the smoke in your eyes
stinging often and still a surprise
but by this fire do stay near
let its heavenly smell cover you
as if you're at your own bbq
let life and death release your fear
and all you've learned will linger

Thanks everyone for your writes...all very beautiful!

Sometimes, it comes down to "soul searching"
and you ask yourself questions
you already have answers to,
and you know!

As if the knowing has any relevance
to why you ask, is, in itself, irrelevant,
seeming to be unacceptable,
and you know!

You listen to the traffic, seeing it's destination,
suddenly the direction becomes questionable,
you turn, and walk the other way
because you know!

I lie in a garden of thorns
naked...truth surrounding me,
pulling blossoms over my head,
piercing my flesh, to block the light!

Blood letting run cold,
saturating the truth with obscenities,
leaving the winds to vacuum
what little remains...

of defiance!

Wonderful reading!
Peeking in .....and leaving a thought (really should be in bed!) :)

If all the balloons in all the world
were filled with peoples air,
and all let loose at one time,
into the atmosphere,
it would simply take our breath away
...and all who came before;
a multi colored mingling sight
in exhaled peace, would soar

night night :)

WeareI...nicely done..thankyou

BKS...always a the balloon ideology

Spiraling sea,
water spouts
line dancing,
sea nymphs
on silken waves,
sirens sing
to golden wing,
and the sun
bids adieu.

The calling,
faint whispers
on a black eve,
subtle voices,
from dark places,
fingers of the night
dancing in absent minds,
what trickery haunts
the shadowed thoughts?
only to be silenced
by the moon!

Tom T. Hall had it down pat
So many tunes
That show love respect

Yet we twirl on this ball
Away from it all
Spiraling further in further in debt

last night a new name came to me
though i can't claim originality
for a friend from england inspired me....

she had done
a quiz of native american origin
so i tried it too
and that is how i came to be
'moon willow'
for that is the name
the quiz identified me
based on various aspects
of my personality....

it went on to say
i would follow my own way
no matter what people might say
and i have to admit
there was a sort of kinship
when it named me moon willow
feeling the grace of that tree
mixed with some lunar magic
(and i do weep easily
when sadness and bliss fill me :) ....

so a new name i be
quite reversed from the one i used previously
where before i tried to convey a message of unity
now i've taken on an identity
more of individuality....

and yet the lunar tide
touches all from deep in earth
reaching far across the sky
so maybe my new identity
connects deeply at our core
as the willow bends towards the water
teaching us all strength through flexibility
the moon keeps shining through you and me
always a reminder of our ancient eternity

Thank you Sarah.

Seaz, thanks for dropping by with that write...hope all is well for you.

Moon Willow...nice to see you, and thanks for sharing how you arrived at the new name.

From my canoe,
a pulpit with a view,
where I preach the gospel
of silence.

A whispering oar,
as I paddle from shore,
to a watery garden
of Eden.

Lest not to quarrel with voices,
for they all make sounds
of rhetoric...mind madness
drowning out the silence
of sanity.

If only
I could paint the picture
of what I hear, would it speak?
only to break the silence
of solitude,

turning golden ponds
into tarpits, cesspools of sermons,
meant for saving souls,
safe harbors dwindle,
looking for places to hide.

Karma's Wake

She lay with me,
even in her absence,
her eyes my vision,
her touch never far
from my thoughts,
her smell, the fragrance
of the morn, blossoming
like a spring bouquet,
her voice, music to my ears,
as she whispers from far away,
and her smile lights
a thousand horizons,
none more beautiful,
than todays!

The Clearing

In the clearing
lay a grassy knoll,
at it's feet,
a translucent shimmering
wetness, sparkling with
a blueness of reflected sky,
and I,
of course,
in my uniform of flesh,
in pure solitude,
baptized myself
in this crystal chalice,
seduced by it's lustful waters,
each ripple caressing
my nakedness,
and then........

I heard her voice,
and with a blushing whisper...

"May I join you?"

Sirens of Despair

Waiting for the lyrics
of the mystic albatross,
exceeding boundaries
lost in flight,
the tunes of malcontents
attaching themselves
to majestic feathers,
proclaiming their justice
for a hard life,
the albatross carried on,
laboring to stay aloft,
it's excess cargo
tugging furiously against the wings,
to alter the direction,
to alter the lyrics
of it's mystical song!

There is a darkness,
toxins turn pond to swamp,
where mutant forms wearing robes
pass judgements, wanted or otherwise,
perhaps the time has come,
to paddle my canoe
one last time!

I search the stars,
the galaxy
and Mars,
and the songbird sings
of a thistle
that stings,
and I see your face
in the oars wake,
the ripples reach
but cannot make
a connection,
once more
the island
lays empty.
