St. Charles, MO

It's at the intersection of interstate 70 & 5th street, the first exit west of the Missouri River.
More details will follow, as soon as the owner gets in, to see if he's going to offer anything for us.
There is a hotel in the Bass Prop Plaza also, so if anyone wants to stay over, they won't even have to drive.
We'll talk to them about special pricing, and post the info as soon as we can get it

Or should I rephrase that. Any hoo, I had a great time and have been talking to a few new people on here and on the phone. I have found that if you book your hotel online, you may get a cheaper rate and St. Charles has an Oktoberfest that same weekend as the event so folks could make it an all weekend deal..sometimes if you book more than one night at a hotel you'll get a discount, by the way, don't forget your AAA cards or any other hotel discount cards you might have in order to save yourself some bux! | |

Posted: 9/6/2007 3:10:54 PM | I once stayed at the Marriott close to Airport..for $45/night + tax, that was for two nights so my bill was close to $100, it was very nice, mucho comfortable, very expensive otherwise.
Priceline is different, when you log onto their site, you don't get to choose your hotel and then your price, you choose and area, if you go with 3star rating you can usually find the area you're interested in, then choose your 50% price and go from there, the bad part of this, is that you could be in a hotel miles away..I don't use it that often unless i really know the area I'm staying in. | |
