I personally think they should launch your ass out there....also just sayin'
I'm extremely hard to piss off but ignorance (and bad drivers) does it for me. If you have rude comments keep them to yourself.

As a red headed woman I have asked guys what the big deal was and I get...exotic, sexy, challenging, different, and of course they want to see if we're better in bed than most women. I always get complements on my hair and sometimes just stares. As a child I wanted brown hair so I could fit in but I never felt ugly for it, Im the youngest in a family of 5 red head kids. Of course I got called names but it goes away as people get older and now people rarely even make the Little Orphan Annie connection. So I say embrace your beauty and individuality!

I hated my red hair when I was young. Lots of teasing and stuff but I'm OK with it now. I was the only one in our family who had it so my brother and sister tried their best to convince me I was adopted. What goes around comes around though. I have one daughter who is a blonde. My sisters first daughter has red hair and my brothers first son and last daughter have red hair,

I agree! After years of being picked on for being the only redhead growing up in my small class in school I hated being a redhead. As I got older, I learned to love it. It makes you different and people will come up and talk to you more. It happens to me when I am in Wal-Mart all the time. People usually think you are friendly. I'm 33 and to date, I have never colored my hair. However, I'm starting to get those white ones coming through and I'm not going to go white gracefully! hahaha
I'm also a full figured/BBW woman. Some guys have approached me on here and in person and their end result was just to find out if the carpet and curtains matched...I do hate that question. However, there are nice guys out there that really do like redheads because we are just us. Yes, we can have tempers but the good ones have a good control of them. I think I've lost mine maybe twice in 33 years and no one was harmed. Yes we are fiesty but hey, you guys usually like that. Would you rather have a boring chick who can not carry on a conversation and doesn't know how to have fun??? As for the better in the sheets thing...that is just crazy. I guess that depends on who we are with.
I personally do not understand it but I have a thing for bald men and men in uniform. But, that doesn't mean my guy has to be bald. I like a man that can cook, sing, or one that can play an instrument too!

I met a redhead once; told her I would only date her if she knew all the words to the song "Tomorrow".
She got all huffy and never called again. Sheesh, some people...

Women hide behind makup because their mothers & friends have warped their brains about what beauty truly IS.
Most women don't NEED makeup. Their ego's however, DEMAND IT.
Take Tina Fey of SNL...absolutely beautiful...but for years had a hangup about the scar on her face...until she met a man who saw her for Who She Really Was...and thought the scar was beautiful. She got over it and ended up with a multi-million dollar career. Does she still use makeup? Yeah, but she doesn't put it on like Tammy Fae Baker anymore.
Makeup is supposed to be an Enhancement of Natural Beauty...not fawking SPACKLE!!!
Redheads with freckles only need a wee bit of lipstick & eyeshadow/liner...that's about it...the men who love them for BEING naturally beautiful will show up eventually.

I come from a long line of redheads and am a strawberry blond. My daughter has the "to kill for" Irish Setter red with tons of body and it was long enough to sit on while braided. She is military and during her M16 course she had problems trying to get her braided hair up in her helmet to make it fit right and she never lacked for offers of help. When the course was over the instructor asked if there were any last questions. One nervous young man said. Sir, many of us would, if it is not offensive to _____ if we could see her hair down. The instructor thought about it for a moment and lectured them on sexual harassment and then asked my daughter if she would be offended? Daughter sat her helmet on the ground and took her hair down and one guy squeaked out. Sir may I go now now? Daughter is still laughs about it. Her hair has been the topic of conversation too many times so I guess it is good she is not shy.

It's not just the hair color, so the bottle or red won't do it. It has to do with fair skin, freckles, and how it all works together. Not all redheads will do it for me, but the right redhead could own me...kinda scary.

and Amandasanurse is a good example of a red head that could just be dangerous for me...Just saying

The stark contrast between the red hair and milky white skin is really something. Definitely beautiful.

I don't know what it is, but I too have always thought that some red heads are just plain hot.
I think, in my opinion, that red heads grow up being treated a bit differently than others - perhaps because of their hair, perhaps because they are typically more fair skinned - don't kow. However, I believe that this has made them into a different person than some - perhsps they have to be more outgoing to over come this as a child - don't know.
Somehow it just all comes together and I find that I always give a red head a double-take.
