Thank you , Sir Chris (consider yourself knighted now )

I've added several more pictures per your suggestion even though I am an avid camera avoider, I had a few around.

Stageright,

Please check mine out.

I used to have a longer, more creative one, but I toned it down to what's present now. Wasn't sure if it was appropriate to post my original profile here in the forum, but I'd like an opinion on which is more effective.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the feedback...I appreciate your input and suggestions.

I took these lines out of my profile. What do you think...thumbs up or thumbs down:

People remark I look young for my age, like a 23 year old guy prematurely losing his hair...I usually don’t have the heart to tell them my real age. ("V"...if you've stumbled onto this profile, sorry, but this means you’re not really a Cougar.)

Hello Stageright,

Thank you for the invitation! I would love any critique of my profile(s) that you may be willing to share. People generally enjoy reading my profile(s), but very few get the full depths of meaning that lies within. I know that it has led to confusion for some; I've gotten come-ons from every corner, and only a couple that I would say really seemed to be the 'type' I am looking for. '69thfathom' is my weird, funny profile. 'electronicmale' is somewhat more serious; together they conjur the 'me' that every woman is looking for. Well, maybe not every woman, and certainly not the 'everywoman.' But someone, someday.

By the way, nice platypus duck, Bill.

"V" is just a figment of my imagination...the line is part of the humor. But if it doesn't work well, that's fine. I took it out because I wasn't sure if people would get it.

P.S. It's really only funny if the reader knows what a cougar is (cougar = older woman after an much younger man). Many of the friends I had read it didn't get the term, so it seemed too hit or miss.

Half off for the next six that sign up. I'm quick. I'm too the point.

Hmmm....I wonder if he caught the to/too error. Nah. He was "dead frickin' tried." Too 'tried' to be 'tired.' Poor guy. But wait...he has a reason, an excuse! The writers are on strike!

Thanks chris. I was in the navy for 6 years and I never got sea legs. I'm kind of anti-boat as well unless it is rather large, like a cruise ship or air craft carrier.

stageright, I just rated your profile...

Well your profile gives off the vibe that you're a dating site celebrity.

The car picture and the bike picture is feeding women on their materialistic greed.
Maybe you don't care, but you will attract one's just after what you have to offer them.

I think listing lots of interests is a good thing for a profile, then again you have to remember you may list an interest a woman totally hates and she may pick over it.

Women who write to you and meet you will have big expectations from your profile and the onus will be on you to be upbeat for them and the life of the party and if you're not constantly that, then they probably won't be satisfied.
